When Americans are feeling down, instead of calling on  GOD, their  reaching for their keyboards. Artificial intelligence chatbots have become confidantes, sounding boards, and even substitutes for sound beliefs. That trend WILL have a significant impact on the U.S. mental health crisis.

This shift is unfolding against the backdrop of a substantial mental health burden in the United States. An American Psychiatric Association poll revealed that 62 percent of respondents reported high levels of anxiety.  Meanwhile, the online mental health care provider Innerwell revealed that more than 61 million U.S. adults reported a mental health condition in 2024.

AI: if a door won’t open, what should you do? If a door won’t open, you should first determine whether the issue is a locked mechanism, a broken handle, or physical sticking caused by friction or swelling. Note, it never said to try another door, or maybe nobody is home. AI is not all that intelligent.

The solution is to stop making gods out of our lives, careers, feelings, technology and online personas. Replace them with the Lord who created us.


You want your mental health back? Humble yourself and get on your knees before God and ask for it. AI is deceptively convenient. AI is replacing human teamwork. It will build the roadmap to hell at lightning speed.
