A GREAT APOSTASY

When I first learned of the god defined in the doctrine of original sin and sin nature I was shocked at the sheer hatred and ugliness. I was also surprised at just how easily fooled, deluded really, that those are who believe it. And the fact that even though this ultimately leads to a place where there can be no free will, no real love, and no relationship between man and God. And nothing the Bible says we must have for eternal life. And that It presents a god so full of hate that it becomes his will and purpose in creating them that most are meant to burn in the lake of fire for all eternity. Where only a few escape this fate because of a prior pre programming for heaven that forced it upon them because they have no free will to choose for themselves. Something that denies the very existence of love. They would still choose this lie in rejection of the truth and the true God. 

How anyone could confuse the God of the Bible with this hateful monster is beyond explanation. It can only be the working of satan in them that can produce this kind of delusion. 

It seems incredible to me that people who say they love God (an impossibility without free will) and say they believe that God loves them, can be so easily deceived to believe the doctrine of original sin and sin nature in which is the central principle that God hates almost every man He has ever made. Even before He ever made them. Using their perverted interpretation of Rom.9. Rather than the plain language of John3:16 that says “For God so loved the world…” Can I tell you now what I really think of these? I mean, come on!

This perversion comes by way of their having concluded that men have no free will. A delusion of mega proportions. Because to believe this you must actually and literally reject the Biblical doctrine that says God IS love that is found in 1John4:7,8. And really the whole counsel of the word of God. 

In fact, the belief in the doctrine of original sin makes God so exceedingly full of hatred for almost all of His creation that His entire motivation for making most of mankind had to have been to derive some sort of perverted pleasure from sending them to a lake of fire to suffer in excruciating pain for all eternity. Because without free will it would happen through no fault of their own. But, only because God specifically and calculatedly made them for that purpose. Which makes their god a god that is pure evil. And in reality he is the devil himself.  

So when a person who believes this says also that they believe God is love they are either lying through their teeth. Or it is out of complete ignorance. Men like Augustine of Hippo with his disciples John Calvin and Martin Luther, three of the most influential preachers/teachers to the apostate church today. For no one can say God is love while also believing it true that babies who die were made by God for the purpose of going to the lake of fire for eternity. But, this is exactly what John Calvin taught based on this doctrine. He said, “we may rest assured that God would never have suffered any infant to be slain except those who were already damned and predestined for eternal death.”

They use this word predestinated like a hammer that was meant for hatred of most and false love for a few. They use it as if it means that most people were made for the lake of fire. And only a few for heaven. Taking God’s predestination that is really something that is so beautiful and loving for every man that has ever been conceived to be called of God to His family. And turning it into something as ugly and hateful as babies being created to burn in the lake of fire for eternity. 

“Oh”, you may be saying, “But, I am not a Calvinist. I believe men have free will.” If that were true then you would have long ago rejected the apostate doctrine of original sin and sin nature with it’s basic principle that it is impossible for man not to sin because he inherited a sin nature from Adam. Making man to be governed not by free will, but by this sinful nature he inherited from Adam. So that he must sin. He must do bad things because his sin nature forces him to. 

Calvin confirms this when teaching on man’s inability to do good saying, “Let it stand, therefore, as an indubitable truth, which no engines can shake, that the mind of man is so entirely alienated from the righteousness of God that he cannot conceive, desire, or design any thing but what is wicked, distorted, foul, impure, and iniquitous; that his heart is so thoroughly envenomed by sin that it can breathe out nothing but corruption and rottenness; that if some men occasionally make a show of goodness, their mind is ever interwoven with hypocrisy and deceit, their soul inwardly bound with the fetters of wickedness.”

If man has no free will then it is God who alone who has determined that few go to heaven and the many go to the lake of fire. Those who have been deceived by this false teaching refer to this as “the sovereignty of God”. Believing that He made this decision before He made the worlds. Making a mockery of John3:16. And making God a monster who can never be truly known, loved, or trusted. 

Because the doctrine of original sin and sin nature makes God a god of hate, having no real love at all. Because He hates almost everyone that He has ever made. And those He does not hate enter into His kingdom as the robots He made them to be. Programmed to do what He made them for. Having no choice of their own to decide whether to love God. But, are forced to love Him by their pre programming they refer to as “predestination”. Which is no love at all. Because love must be freely given and freely received. 

They use Rom.9 where God says, “Jacob have I loved but Esau have I hated” as a proof text that shows God hates almost all of mankind from their conception. Never mind that Paul says in this same chapter that Jacob represents those who by free will receive the promise. And Esau represents those who by their free will trust in the flesh. And in Rom.9:31-33 Paul shows what is actually meant by what he taught here saying, “But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness.

Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone; As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.”

So the real reason Jacob have I loved but Esau have I hated is that God resists the proud but gives more grace to the humble. And to be proud or humble is a choice made by man with his own free will. He is not predestinated to be proud. Nor is he predestinated to be humble. He chooses these by his own free will. 

A lack of free will means there can be no love. Not from God or from man. And therefore no loving relationship is possible. Because loving relationships demand that a choice be made by both parties in that relationship. Just as God chose by His own free will to love the world by becoming a man to join with us in our death so that we could join with Him in eternal life. So we must choose by our own free will to trust in Him for that eternal life. So free will must be present for there to be a loving relationship. Without it there is no love. Because when one loves, just as when one hates, it is a choice. It can not be forced. 

Can a man can force a woman to love him and really believe it’s love? Or vis a versa? Of course not. So God does not force a person to love Him. Because then it would not be love. It would be mechanical, not personal. It would be the result of a pre programming like what’s done with a computer, not relationship. For example, you can love your car because you are a personal being. But, your car can not love you back because it is not. So there can be no truly loving relationship with your car. Because loving relationships are chosen by free will by both in the relationship. They can not be only one sided. And they can not be forced upon us. A machine has no free will. But, because people are made in God’s image we do. 

So in the doctrine of original sin we have no free will to choose to love, and a nature that is governed by sin that forces men to a pre determined end in the lake of fire through no fault of their own. But, only because of the hatred from a god that is filled with hate for them from before they were even made. Those who believe this doctrine have turned everything the Bible says about God on it’s head. Making Him a god of hate rather than of love as the Bible says. 

The only possible conclusion then is that the god found in the doctrine of original sin and sin nature is not the God of the Bible. And sadly, those who have found this god have not yet known the true and living God of the Bible nor His salvation. Because the God of the Bible is love, not hate. He sends no one to hell. People must choose to go there. Rather, Peter makes it clear that it is God’s will that none should perish. But, that all men would come to be saved. 

In fact, God loves us with such intensity that His love compelled Him to become a man for the sole purpose of joining with us in our death. The bloody and torturous death on the cross. Because He knew that only through His death could death be conquered once and for all by His resurrection. And that by this He “spoiled principalities and powers, making a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.” Making the way to eternal life for every man that has ever been conceived. By the free will choice of both parties in this loving relationship. It was His intense and all consuming love for all mankind that brought Him to willingly do this. For the whole world as John3:16 says. And not just for a few. 

Now that you know that free will was given to you by God will you remain a part of the great apostasy that has taken the apostate church? Or will you choose to accept the gift of eternal life that God has freely provided for you? Will you confess Jesus as Lord? And believe that He has raised from the dead? If you will then pray with me now.

Dear Jesus, thank you that you love me so much that you joined with me in death. I confess you as Lord. And believe you have raised from the dead. I want to join with you in eternal life. By free will I receive your gift of eternal life that you have freely offered to me. Thank you for saving me from death’s power. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 

If you prayed with me it’s a great start. But, there is still much to be done. You must begin to read and believe the plain language of the Bible. Because only by this will you be able to rid yourself of the false doctrines that formerly took you captive to satan. Don’t let the devil come back and find your house swept and cleaned so he can bring with him 7 others worse than himself to live there. Begin to fill your house with the furnishings God has for you. With the truth.
