Canadian Feds Are Treating Freedom Convoy Supporters Like Domestic Terrorists.

According to federal ministers, the RCMP has begun exchanging the names of individuals and corporations, as well as their cryptocurrency wallets, with financial institutions in order to freeze the accounts of some people involved in convoy blockades and protests. In a press conference on Feb. 17, Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland told reporters that law enforcement is now sharing information with Canada’s financial institutions in order to cut off funding for the ongoing protests against the federal government’s COVID-19 mandates. “The RCMP has shared the names of both individuals and businesses, as well as crypto-wallets, with banking institutions, and accounts have been frozen, with more to follow. “The registration procedure with FINTRAC has begun for crowdfunding platforms and payment service providers,” Freeland said.
