If You Can Reprobates–The GOD Haters At The New York Times Blames Evangelical Christians for Coronavirus

The New York Times published an op-ed Friday that blamed evangelical Christians for the coronavirus pandemic.

The argument, by journalist and author Katherine Stewart, is that because religious voters supported Trump, that means he governs without regard for science.

Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam issued an executive order on Monday that is aimed at stopping the new coronavirus — and, in the process, makes it a criminal offense to hold a church service attended by more than 10 people.

Yes, his order makes it a crime for more than 10 people to gather in a church.

But meanwhile, the abortion clinics in Virginia just keep humming along.

I think that says a lot about where we are as a society today.

Nobody should really be surprised that the time of “the perfect storm” has arrived.  We have been slowly but surely committing national suicide for decades, and now the consequences of our very foolish decisions are rapidly catching up with us.

In the short-term, let us pray that this pandemic will start to subside as quickly as possible and that some sense of normalcy can soon be restored.

But if we just go back to the way that we were doing things, it really won’t matter, because the path that we were on doesn’t lead anywhere good.

Stewart also claims that Republicans, more than Democrats, are likely to deny science.

In her op-ed, titled “The Road to Coronavirus Hell Was Paved by Evangelicals,” she writes:

Donald Trump rose to power with the determined assistance of a movement that denies science, bashes government and prioritized loyalty over professional expertise. In the current crisis, we are all reaping what that movement has sown.

At least since the 19th century, when the proslavery theologian Robert Lewis Dabney attacked the physical sciences as “theories of unbelief,” hostility to science has characterized the more extreme forms of religious nationalism in the United States.

She then goes on to provide several quotes from pastors who pushed back against the idea of closing their churches.

Stewart admits: “By all accounts, President Trump’s tendency to trust his gut over the experts on issues like vaccines and climate change does not come from any deep-seated religious conviction.”

But she adds: “But he is perfectly in tune with the religious nationalists who form the core of his base.”

Since the start of the coronavirus crisis, Trump has repeatedly deferred to scientists, doctors, and experts in the administration — particularly Dr. Anthony Fauci and Dr. Debbie Birx, who features in his daily press briefings.

Notably, scientists have confirmed that President Trump’s travel bans on China and Europe slowed and limited the spread of the disease in the United States. In Fauci’s case, he specifically urged the travel ban to be imposed on Europe.

All of the Democratic candidates for president opposed those bans.

Former Vice President Joe Biden called the China ban “hysterical” and xenophobic, and panned the Europe ban after Trump announced it.

The Signs Are All Around, Christian Persecution Coming to America

Whether or not Christians should be radicals depends on how the word is defined. Many people in history have used the name of Christ to inflict terror, persecution, and genocide upon those with religious differences. That form of radicalism was never condoned by Jesus—who was Himself a radical. His message of love, forgiveness, and mercy was at direct odds with the accepted views of the day. He refused to fight back when attacked (1 Peter 2:23), to allow Peter to defend Him with violence (Matthew 26:51–52), or to condemn the woman caught in adultery (John 8:4–11). Those were all radical acts for that time and culture. One reason some people turned away from Christ was that His requirement of giving up everything for His sake was simply too radical (Luke 18:22–23).

The decision to follow Christ is itself a call to radical living. Jesus said that “anyone who wants to follow Me must deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow Me” (Luke 9:23). That command is at extreme odds with our flesh’s desire to please itself (Romans 7:21–23). It challenges worldly wisdom, which preaches self-fulfillment as our highest aim (1 John 2:15–17). The cross is a radical thing, and declaring Jesus as Lord of our lives involves a dethroning of Self and complete abandonment to His will. We must be willing to go where He leads, do what He says, and love Him more than life itself (Matthew 10:37–38). The lifestyle changes that follow such a commitment are considered radical by those who fall within the world’s definition of “normal.” Those who claim to know Christ yet refuse this radical lifestyle are called “carnal” (1 Corinthians 3:3). Jesus calls such professing Christians “lukewarm” and says He will spit them out of His mouth (Revelation 3:16).

The antisocial atrocities that are often synonymous with radicalism are in direct opposition to radical Christianity. Jesus calls His followers to seek the best for others, to love our neighbors, and to be peacemakers, even at great personal cost (Galatians 5:14Matthew 5:9Luke 10:30–37). Jesus’ teaching known as The Beatitudes (Matthew 5:3–12) is His call to radical living. He requires His followers to take the high road, to “turn the other cheek” (verse 39), and to “love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you” (verse 44).

For the past half-century, there has been, in America, an increasing push to privatize religion. The courts have reaffirmed the desires of the ACLU, Americans United for the Separation of Church and State, American Atheists, and others, to see all vestiges of public expressions of faith eradicated. What you want to believe in your own personal little heart about God, or the tooth fairy, or whatever you want to call Him or it, is between you and your god. But don’t bring it into the public square.

Systematically, Bible distribution in schools, public displays of the Ten Commandments, nativity scenes on public property, and public prayers in Jesus’ name are all being removed by a left-leaning, black-robed oligarchy.

The New Tolerance

It goes beyond mere privatization, however. Now, there is even a desire to move into the realm of regulating moral conscience. Atheist leader, Richard Dawkins, has suggested that it is child abuse to teach your children to believe the tenets of Christianity as being objectively true.

Many evangelical leaders in America have predicted the coming of religious persecution in America. In his 2014 inauguration speech as President of the National Religious Broadcaster’s convention, Jerry Johnson predicted a move against freedom of speech in Christian broadcasting, on the basis of supposed, “Hate Speech” legislation.

At a national homeschooling leadership conference in Chicago in 2010, Dr. Erwin Lutzer, former pastor of the historic Moody Church in Chicago told the audience they should encourage Christian homeschooling parents they serve to teach their children about the history of religious persecution as a part of their education. Dr. Lutzer has authored a book entitled “When a Nation Forgets God: 7 Lessons We Must Learn from Nazi Germany.” Author and radio host Eric Metaxas describes the book this way: “It clearly and powerfully explains what the parallels are between Germany’s fall from grace and the beginning of our own fall.”

Christian leaders like Dr. Albert MohlerRussell Moore, and others, and even former U.S. Supreme Court Justice Anthony Scalia have suggested the possible threat to religious liberty posed by the SCOTUS’ decision on same-sex marriage. What happens if a Christian college or seminary is required by law to allow same-sex dating on campus?

We’ve already seen nationally televised court cases regarding Christians who have refused to bake wedding cakes for same-sex couples, or Christian county clerks who refused to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples.

When state governmental leaders fail to provide necessary religious liberty legislation and a state’s institutions of higher education discriminate against Christians for expressing their Christian views, one has to wonder what will be the next infringement against the “free exercise” clause of the First Amendment.

Some of you reading this may think I have some kind of persecution complex, but I do not. I have never expected the Christian life to be a picnic. Jesus never said the Christian life would be all honey and no bees, no work and all ease. In fact, He said quite the opposite.

The New Testament portrays Jesus as preparing his disciples for the reality of persecution from the very early parts of his ministry. Consider what he taught, for example, in Matthew 5:10-12:

“Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great; for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you (NASB).” Source

1st Peter 16 “Yet if any man suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf. 17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begins at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? 18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? 19 Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.” Can persecution come to America? Its beginnings are already here if you look around you. We see where anything that speaks of God or His Holy Word, brings condemnation from a dying, rebellious world. The news is full of the report of one courageous woman in Kentucky, who would not bow to judicial pressure to issue same-sex marriage licenses to gay couples.

In this country, we have the freedom to stand against unjust laws that circumvent clear biblical morality. Our country and its leaders (sic) have gone rogue in subjecting this country to laws that were not meant for free people. I am reminded of what the founding fathers wrote when they broke away from the tyranny of England in the Declaration of Independence: “But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object, evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.” How can we continue to live under government tyranny without taking back what we loaned to others in the government to represent us…? Is it so far gone that we have not got the power to take back our own government? I find this the fault of the pastors that stand in our pulpits that have failed to preach and stand for righteousness and fire up their congregation and men of goodwill to stand for what is right and what this country was founded upon.

I’m not advocating revolution, although I’m sure there are many people are just about fed up with this direction the country is headed in. I’m reminded of a quote by our 3rd President of the USA when he said: “The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.” Thomas Jefferson And let no one be mistaken, there are men who believe in this country and will take up arms to defend her. I believe that is what the implementation of JADE HELM is all about, because the powers that be, know that the American people are getting fed up. This will promote more persecution and marshal law, and if you are labeled a right-wing extremist, a conservative, religious, a Christian, or a patriot, then you have been branded as a threat to the government.

You may not think of yourself as a “domestic right-wing extremist”, and I certainly do not, but the truth is that patriotic Americans and conservative Christians have been repeatedly labeled as “potential terrorists” since this present POTUS became president. If this had just happened one time, it would be easy to dismiss. Sadly, there has been a steady pattern of this happening over the past several years. Large groups of people that are the heart and soul of this country have been systematically demonized over the past 7 years. When you consider what history has taught us, it is absolutely chilling to think about what this could eventually lead to. Is this what those reports of FEMA camps, mass coffins, and NSA spying on every person’s personal information leading to….PERSECUTION? THE FIRST AMENDMENT UNDER ATTACK We have been given alienable rights and freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution. The ACLU from their own website describes what we call the 1st Amendment to the Constitution: “Our country’s founders — who were of different religious backgrounds themselves — knew the best way to protect religious liberty was to keep the government out of religion. So they created the First Amendment — to guarantee the separation of church and state.

This fundamental freedom is a major reason why the U.S. has managed to avoid a lot of the religious conflicts that have torn so many other nations apart. The Establishment Clause of the First Amendment prohibits the government from encouraging or promoting (“establishing”) religion in any way. That’s why we don’t have an official religion of the United States.” Most everything in the above quote is correct, but the point missed from the above clause that even the ACLU turns a blind eye to is that the government protects the free exercise of one’s own religion. We have freedom of religion, not freedom FROM religion. The statement of separation of church and state is not found in our original documents but came from a letter from Thomas Jefferson to a set of Christian pastors who worried about a theocracy coming to America.

The phrase is lifted from this letter and is not part of our governing laws, but you wouldn’t know it by looking at the landscape of this country today. GAY MARRIAGE FOUGHT IN KENTUCKY So a firestorm has developed over one little county clerk who stood on her religious freedom to not condone a practice that would conflict her consciousness of religious freedom and the right to practice that freedom by rejecting a spuriously and flagrant violation of God’s Holy Word. She stood on the clear commands of written laws given by God concerning the abomination of homosexual sins.

They are concerned about their spiritual lives and wishing to follow the leading of God’s Holy Spirit. But men do not want to be told that they are sinning. The Facebook page reinforced that concept, that men do not want to be told that what they are doing is wrong according to God’s Word. Christians are just standing in their way of having a “good” time. We are stifling their ability to form a “utopia” on earth where everyone can be and do whatever they want to do, regardless if it’s right or wrong. Jesus warned us in John chapter 16: 1 “These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended. 2 They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service. 3 And these things will they do unto you because they have not known the Father, nor me.” Satan is working overtime, as he knows his time is running short, so if he is going to have any chance of winning over the one True God, he must make God out a liar and he is searching for anything that would accomplish this.

He has been trying for almost 6000 years to avoid the penalty that he knows is coming. So he uses men against other men to attempt to thwart God’s plan for mankind. It all started with the people that God chose as His own, the people of Israel who gave us Jesus even in unbelief, where Christianity was born and has spread to the whole world. Christianity has flourished to the four corners of the globe to reach every tribe and every nation in our modern world by means of telecommunications, television and the internet. Jesus proclaimed what we are seeing right now: Matthew chapter 10: 34“Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword. 35 For I have come to “set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.” 36 And “a man’s foes will be those of his own household.” We may face persecution in our jobs, because of our beliefs…again, see what has happened to Kim Davis in Kentucky? At times, we may receive social persecution within a community.

We are often excluded from friendships that would normally be extended to us as they are to others who are not of the truth of God’s Word. Sometimes our children face this more directly in school than we do in the neighborhood or market place. But it’s out there waiting to invade our safe place and make our lives more uncomfortable. I wonder, as you are reading this, how many of us would have done as Kim Davis has done? Would we have stood up to an angry crowd that I’m sure became abusive and loud when she followed her faith and conscience and would not issue a homosexual marriage license? Would you have been willing to go to jail for the crime of religious freedom? Would you have gone along with the crowd, as her deputy clerks did when they issued a marriage license in her absence in fear of contempt of court of an unjust ruling? It is a difficult choice that we all may have to make before Jesus comes for His chosen bride.

Without a doubt, the most intense persecution will begin with those of a religious bent and culminates with the civil authorities. Christ received His most frequent attacks from the religious leaders, those with the greatest spiritual pretensions. The scribes, Pharisees, and Sadducees all attempted to ostracize Him or destroy the validity of His teaching. In the end, the ecclesiastical authorities called upon the civil authorities to administer the savage beating and execution. As the Beast arises, we can expect its persecution to follow the same pattern. PERSECUTION WILL GROW INTENSE As I’ve explored in past messages, there is coming a push for a New World Order and a One World Religion. This has been proposed for the last 23 years since 1992 and the acceptance by 176 countries of the U.N.’s Agenda 21 and now is evolving into Agenda 2030, which I covered in my last message. If you missed it, you may review it here: http://www.churchofgod-usa.org/1/post/2015/08/pope-francis-the-save-the-earth-prophet.html There will come a time when a government that has been formed to cover the whole earth will arise and demand allegiance to laws and commands that are in direct conflict with God’s commands. A religious authority that will proclaim that all should worship an idol that shall be erected in the Holy of Holies in the newly built Temple in Jerusalem.

Revelation: “15 And he had the power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. 16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: 17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man, and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.”

Unfortunately, at this point in time, these sentiments should not surprise us at all, as despicable and ugly as they may be. The truth be told, there is increasing, palpable hostility towards the gospel in some quarters in America, and it can easily be explained.
First, it is a natural fruit of the harsh and condescending “new atheism,” which continues to poison many hearts and minds with its venom. God is not simply to be rejected; He is to mocked and ridiculed, as are His followers.

The hatred is a result of the wars between God-fearing Bible-believing Christians and the non-believer, atheists homosexual crowd, in which Christians are targeted because of their opposition to LGBT activism and abortion. Bible-believing Christians are commonly compared to Hitler, the Ku Klux Klan and other ungodly groups.

n a recent article about the Sri Lanka attacks in National Review, Doug Bandow writes: “Christianity’s dominant role in American culture has obscured the fact that it is the most persecuted faith globally.”  In fact, Christianity is almost invisible in America’s public culture and is its most persecuted faith as well.  (In terms of violent acts, filed under “hate crimes,” Jews are the most frequent targets, thanks to the anti-Semitic propaganda emanating from Muslim Brotherhood front groups and bigots like Ilhan Omar.  But unlike Jews, Christians are attacked for the specific beliefs of their faith.)

The Christians who created America made religious liberty and freedom of conscience the foundation of all Americans’ other freedoms.  In doing so, Christians gave a great gift, not only to Americans but to people all over the world whose freedoms Americans have defended.  This America is now under attack.  Freedom of speech for conservatives is now nonexistent on America’s university campuses.  They are in embryo the one-party state the Democratic Party is working overtime to achieve.

Democrats are determined to destroy the Electoral College, which was designed to protect the minority from the tyranny of the majority.  They are working to destroy America’s borders; give rapists, murderers, and Boston Marathon bombers the right to vote; give non-citizens who are here illegally the right to vote; give children the right to vote, and oppose IDs at the ballot box so people who disrespect our democracy can vote as many times as they wish.

The war on American democracy has reached a critical point.  To grasp the nature of this war, and to understand its goals, it is essential to recognize its origins in the war against Christians.  Christian beliefs in the sanctity of life, in free will (and hence individual accountability), and in the flawed nature of humanity are the principal bulwark against our descent into the barbarism that progressivism promises us.

We’re Living In a Generation Where The Sin That Once Snuck Secretly Down The Back Alley, Now Strut Proudly Down Main Street

WHY DOES THE WORLD HATE CHRISTIANS SO MUCH?
Matthew 5:10-12 (NKJV)
Please turn with me in your Bibles to tonight’s scripture text in the Gospel of Matthew, chapter five, and let’s read verses 10-12.
Matthew 5:10-12 (NKJV)
10 Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake,
For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11 “Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.
12 Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

I N T R O D U C T I O N
If you ever listen to a Christian radio station chances are you have heard
Adrian Rogers’ broadcast called “Love Worth Finding Adrian Rogers’ “Love Worth Finding.”
Shortly before his death in 2005, Adrian Rogers gave this stern
wake-up call to Christians:
“I believe we are living in the lengthening shadows of the last day. I believe Jesus Christ is coming soon, and one of the earmarks (ed. of His coming) is the persecution of the saints. ming) is the persecution of the saints. saints. We
see it on TV, newscasts, and editorial pages. Ridicule any other group and you’ll be in ule any other group and you’ll be in trouble, but the wrath of our culture is reserved for the Christian. The Bible-believing Christian is “the whipping boy.”So I want you to prepare yourself—and prepare your children, just as you prepare them to go to school—to live in a world increasingly hostile to genuine Christians.” Just recently we saw evidence of this hostility towards Christians when Phil Robertson of the “Duck Dynasty” was viciously attacked in the news media for saying homosexuality is a sin. Robertson was merely stating the truth of the scriptures, yet his words were portrayed by the media and the Hollywood elite as “hate speech” and bigotry.

Perhaps like you, my initial response towards A & E’s firing of Phil Robertson and the vicious media attacks towards him was one of anger. But as I have had time to reflect on it, I now realize the way the godless media responded towards Phil Robertson is exactly how Jesus said godless men respond to the true Christian.

In our text, Jesus says, “ Blessed are those who are persecuted for
righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. “Blessed are you
when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.

Jesus went on to say, “This is how they treated the prophets who were before you.” They persecuted Isaiah and Jeremiah and Elijah and John the Baptist for boldly speaking the truth of God. And a few weeks ago they persecuted Phil Robertson for doing the same. Come to think of it, ‘ol Phil sort of looks like a Jeremiah or John the Baptist doesn’t he?
Why does the world hate Christians so much? And what should our
response be towards the world’s hatred of us? That is what we want to consider in tonight’s message.

First of all, let’s see what insight we can gain from the scriptures as to………
I. Why The World Hates Christians So Much? I. Why The World Hates Christians So Much?

  1. In our text, Jesus provides us with two reasons why the world hates
    us.
    (A) The world hates Christians because of THE LI (A) The world hates Christians because of THE LIFE WE LIVE….
    v. 10 a “Blessed are those who are persecuted for RIGHTEOUSNESS or RIGHTEOUSNESS S SAKE.”
The word “righteousness” “righteousness” “righteousness” has an interesting meaning. In the original Greek, the word “righteousness” means “to divide.” In a very real sense that is exactly what Christians do, we divide.
-We divide TRUTH from FALSEHOOD FALSEHOOD.
-We divide GODLINESS GODLINESS from UNGODLINESS UNGODLINESS.
-We divide the HOLY – from the UNHOLY. Just a few verses down here in Matthew 5, Matthew 5, Matthew 5, Jesus describes
you and me as “the salt of the earth” in verse 13 and as
“the light of the world” in verse 14.
One characteristic of both SALT and LIGHT is that they are
    irritants.
-Have you ever got SALT in a cut on your finger? Did it feel good?
NO! It hurt like the dickens! It “irritated” you.
-Have you ever been sound asleep and someone came in and
turned on THE LIGHT? Were you happy with that person?
NO! You were “irritated” with them. As Christians, our presence in the world has the same effect as SALT in a wound. We are an irritant. We are a painful reminder of the wounds sin has inflicted upon the lost.
And as Christians, our presence in the world has the same
effect as having someone turn the LIGHTS on when we are
    comfortably asleep in the darkness.
  2. We are irritating to those who are comfortable in the darkness of sin. As light, we expose the deeds of darkness, and for that the world
hates us! Our society would have us to believe the greatest of all
virtues is TOLERANCE. They would have us to believe that America would be a utopian society if everyone coexisted together and tolerated one another regardless of one’s choice of lifestyle, or one’s sexual preferences, or one’s religious beliefs. Jesus said in Matthew 10:34, “I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.” In other words, I didn’t come here to unite saint and sinner, I came to divide. And because you and I refuse to compromise our biblical convictions and get on “the tolerance bandwagon” we are hated by the world.

But not only does the world hate Christians because of THE LIFE WE LIVE…….
(B) The world hates Christians because of THE LORD WE LOVE.
Look once again at verse 10of our text……..
v.10a “Blessed are you when they revile you and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for MY self for MY SAKE.
The world hates Jesus Christ! Not so much the baby Jesus or
the Jesus who healed the sick and fed the multitudes. The world
hates the JESUS who came to destroy the works of the devil.
(I John 3:8) The world hates the JESUS who came to destroy
abortion, and pornography, and homosexuality and lesbianism,
and materialism and greed. The world hates the JESUS who
stands against everything the world stands for! And when you and I stand with Christ Jesus told us what would happen. Turn with me to John 15:18-21.

John 15:18-21 (NKJV)
18 “If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you.
19 If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.
20 Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A servant is not greater than his
master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also.
21 But all these things they will do to you for My name’s sake because they do not know Him who sent Me. The world hated Jesus because Jesus was NOT of this world. And if you and I are truly living for Jesus Christ, we are NOT of this world either. Jesus said, “If you were of this world then the world would love you because you would be one of its own.” In other words, if you I would just tolerate and accept all religious beliefs, and all
lifestyles, regardless of how immoral, the world would gladly accept
Christians and just leave us alone.

But you see because we wear the name of CHRIST and identify
with CHRIST, and follow the teachings of CHRIST, the world hates
us just as it hated JESUS.

The apostle Paul writes in Philippians 1:29 (NKJV)………
For to you it has been granted on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in
Him, but also to suffer for His sake…” When you and I choose to live with a burning, passionate love for Christ, and we refuse to compromise or back down, the world is going to come down on us like a hammer. Why Does The World Hate Christians So Much? They hate Us Because of THE LIFE WE LIVE and They hate us because of THE LORD WE LOVE!

The second thing we want to consider is…
II. What Should Be Our Response To The World’s Hatred II? What Should Be Our Response To The World’s Hatred?
(A) Our first response should be TO EXPECT THE WORLD’S HATRED.
The apostle Paul writes in II Timothy 3:12 (NKJV) “All who desire
to live godly in Christ Jesus WILL suffer persecution.”
For the most part, we Christians in America have tasted very little,
if any persecution at all. We should not be at all surprised by
the escalating hatred towards Christians in this country. In fact
I believe every true Christian has been expecting it for some time
now.

If they hated the Old Testament prophets, and they hated Jesus Christ, and they hated John the Baptist, and they hated the apostles, and they hated the countless number of Christian martyrs down through the ages, and they hate Christians in other parts of the world, then shouldn’t we expect to be hated also?
(B) Our second response should be TO REJOICE WHEN THE WORLD HATES US.
I Peter 4:13,14a (NKJV) But rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad about exceeding joy. If you are reproached f be glad about exceeding joy. If you are reproached for the name of or the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you.

Can you think of any greater honor in this life than for the presence
of Christ to be so evident in your that someone would hate you for it? What greater honor could there be than to be criticized or made fun
of for being a Christian? What greater honor could there be than to be passed over for a promotion or to be fired from your job because of your Christian convictions? What greater honor could there be for others to discriminate against you because you are a Christian?

In our “politically correct” society everyone has become ultra-sensitive to anything that might be construed as offensive or bias, or prejudiced in any way. Lawyers are getting “filthy rich” off of people who are easily offended and want to sue their neighbor or their employer or whomever. Brothers and sisters, let us not be ultra-sensitive to the attacks that are made against us because we are Christians. Let us rejoice that we are hated for the sake of Christ! (C) And our third response should be TO FOLLOW CHRIST’S EXAMPLE WHEN HATED.

I PETER 2:18-21 (NKJV) Servants, be submissive to your masters with all
fear, not only to the good and gentle but also to the harsh. For this is
commendable, if because of conscience toward God one endures grief,
suffering wrongfully. For what credit is it if, when you are beaten for your
faults, you take it patiently? But when you do good and suffer, if you take
it patiently, this is commendable before God. For this, you were called,
because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you
should follow His steps: How did Christ respond to hatred and criticism and false accusations? How did Christ respond to persecution and
unfairness and injustice? He loved even His worst enemies! CHRIST modeled for us the kind of response we should have towards those who hate us.

The story is told about a concert violinist. At the end of his concert, everyone rose to their feet and gave him thunderous applause, everyone that is, except for one man. The violinist hung his head and began to cry. Those on stage with him tried to console him. They said, “Look, everyone is standing and applauding.” He said, “Not everyone is standing; see that gentleman seated on the front row?” They said, “He’s only one man!” The violinist said, “I know, but he is my teacher.” Brothers and sisters, in the end, it won’t matter if you please the whole world if you don’t please JESUS. But if you please JESUS, then it doesn’t matter whom you displease. “Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven!”

People’s hearts are troubled, their minds are in a state of confusion, the Bible tells us a time of great delusion that will come upon the people, that time has arrived, the politicians must come up with more significant and more believable lies in order to bring on the antichrist, we have entered the doorstep Tribulation.

Now a global pestilence has erupted, and in Luke 21 we were specifically warned to watch for “pestilences” in the last days.

This Pestilent Is Revealing to All What Many of Us Have Known for a Long Time: This Godless Nation Was Designed by the Un-Godly to Fail and so Its Failure Was Not Just Predictable but Inevitable

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation Have NOT Got The Memo Yet, “Pestilences” Has No Cure

The Coronavirus Was Most Certainly Produced by Crazy (Un-Godly) Men in Laboratories, WGO and CDC Knew All Along That the Coronavirus Was a Bioweapon, There’re in Charge?

Well-known medical expert Bill Gates did an AMA on Reddit https://www.gatesnotes.com/Health/A-coronavirus-AMA?WT.mc_id=20200319223000_Coronavirus-AMA_BG-LI&WT.tsrc=BGLI&linkId=84658834 (transcribed here), in which he casually drops some chilling ideas into the conversation:

Eventually, we will have some digital certificates to show who has recovered or been tested recently or when we have a vaccine who has received it.

All in all, our freedoms are being swamped. Big corporations and states alike are setting boundaries on individual rights on a flimsy pretext.

Is anyone in the media reporting that? Of course not. Instead, we’re getting fawning celebrity-based drivel like this in the Independent, trying to convince us “we’re all in this together”, or weasel-worded nonsense like this from Jonathan Freedland in The Guardian where he mourns Johnson’s “libertarian” spirit and reluctance to impose social control. That would be the mass-surveilling, drone executing, war-supporting type of libertarian. A crass and obvious example of narrative management.

Even members of the alt-media are falling for this, with prominent voices hailing the measures as necessary or demanding “further action” (one usually sane analyst is advocating locking all of those “probably infected” inside empty sports stadiums to be “medically monitored”). Somehow former Goldman Sachs banker and Hedge Fund manager Rishi Sunak is being praised as some kind of Nye Bevan figure. It’s almost literally insane.

If a mandatory vaccination program were to be implemented again in the U.S. for (“Chinese virus”) COVID-19, the government would have to reassure the public its previous negligence of such side effects would not be repeated, an unlikely scenario after the corporate breach of trust exposed on Wall Street in recent years involving large pharmaceutical firms. Regardless, Big Pharma is already partnering with the U.S. Army to develop a vaccine for the coronavirus which would have to be tested and evaluated before licensing by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and recommended for use by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), both of which partner with the WHO whose largest financial contributor is the U.S. government.

Instead of simply holding a Bible like a prop, perhaps Trump could’ve sat down with people and TOGETHER READ FROM THE BIBLE?
