When I say death is separation it means that when death happens to a man who is not born of the Spirit he dies physically because his body is separated from the air that God breathed into his nostrils(Gen.2:7, Ecc.12:7). It also means the same thing when animals die (Gen.7:14,15,21,22). But, when a man who is born of the Spirit dies, not only is his body separated from the air that it breathed while he was alive. It also means that his spirit is separated from his body and goes to be with the Lord (2 Cor.5:8).

So from these descriptions of the separation that happens, that defines what death is, the question we should be asking is, where does the Bible ever describe a spiritual separation between man and God that many teach was the result of Adam eating the fruit? And how would a spiritual separation be possible for Adam since Paul plainly says in 1Cor.15:45,46 that Adam was not a spiritual being when God made him? Would you be surprised to know that the scripture never says there was a spiritual separation between Adam and God? And that this notion is a product of the deception of the spirit of antichrist that John wrote of in 1John4:1-3? Let me show you the Biblical evidence that this false teaching is the deception that becomes the “strong delusion” Paul told the Thessalonians about in 2Thes.2:7-12.

In the scripture, we see that when Adam ate the fruit he gained the knowledge of good and evil. And that by this knowledge God said he became “as one of us”. And we see that it was because of this, and not because of any punishment for his disobedience in eating the fruit, that God separated man from the tree of life(Gen.3:22-24).

Did you see that? Genesis describes another kind of separation here. This is not, however, a separation from God. But, only a separation from the tree of life. And we see that since Adam was not spiritual but natural(1Cor.2:45,46) when God made him(Gen.2:7) we know this could only affect Adam’s natural physical life by this separation from the tree of life causing him to begin to die physically. Just as God said he would when he ate the fruit(Gen.2:17).

So this separation did not affect his relationship with God because he was not separated from God, but only from the tree of life. We see this when we read in Gen.3and 4 that Adam continued speaking with God, and God continued speaking with Adam after he ate the fruit just as they did before Adam ate the fruit.

And since we are shown from Paul’s teaching that from the creation of Adam till now man’s only able to relate to anything has always been through his natural senses (1Cor.2:14 and 15:45,46), it is clear that spiritual separation from God was impossible for Adam. Proving that contrary to what many believe and teach, the man was never separated from God spiritually because he had no spirit that could be separated from God in the first place. So the natural man still relates to God today by the same natural means Adam related to God while in the garden. The same natural means we see the disciples and other men relating to Jesus when He was living as a man on earth.

This shows that Jesus’ death was not for the purpose of restoring man’s spiritual relationship with God. Nor was a man condemned to hell because of those sins. Adam’s or anyone else’s. Because of 1. Adam never had a spiritual relationship with God because Adam never had a spirit to relate to God. And 2. Paul said that sin is not imputed when there is no law.Rom.5:13.

So where does the idea come from that man was separated from God after he ate the fruit? Why do so many RC (roman catholic)and e/p (evangelical and protestant) denominations teach that this is what happened? It is because they have believed an interpretation of the scriptures that is derived through the use of what they call “systematic theology”. A system that is designed by the followers of Augustine’s teaching to force a person to the same unBiblical conclusions about God, Jesus, and the atonement that Augustine preached. Doctrines that John says are a product of the spirit of antichrist doctrines of Gnosticism(1John4:1-3) to which Augustine was an adherent.

In the religion of Augustine and his followers, his Gnostic beliefs interpret the events in the garden to be an explanation for why the natural world is evil. So he interpreted the Genesis narrative and the rest of scripture through the lens of his already formed  Gnostic beliefs. This is why learning the Bible through the lens of “systematic theology” forces men to the same conclusions.

Teaching someone to understand the Bible through “systematic theology” is like a teacher in a public school asking a student how something evolved over time to become something else. When the question should be, should you believe in evolution in the first place? And like these false teachers, those false teachers who teach systematic theology in promoting Augustinianism don’t help the student ask the right question either. Which is, was man separated from God by Adam’s sin? But, instead, they simply lead them in their “systematic theology” so that they will come to the conclusions Augustine reached without ever even thinking to ask the right questions.

Augustine’s conclusions were wrong because he believed in Gnosticism. A belief that the material world is evil because it is far removed from God who made it. This is why  Augustine interpreted the Genesis account to say that Adam’s sin caused his nature to change to an evil nature that is ruled by “necessity”. And that from the beginning the natural world was evil. Which meant to him that man is “totally depraved” and therefore has no free will with which to choose his god/God. And since Augustine believed the man is sinful by the inherent nature of his flesh, and God is sinless, he believed Jesus could never have inhabited a body the same as all men have. Even though Heb.2:14 plainly says Jesus did.

Jesus' flesh was the same as all men have Heb.2:14 - YouTube

(On a side note I want to ask you if what I wrote just now sounds sort of familiar? Because this is the reasoning behind the RC and e/p doctrines explaining the necessity of the virgin birth. For it is from their Gnostic beliefs that they falsely conclude that Jesus had to be born of a virgin. Because only in this way could Jesus avoid having the falsely so-called “sin nature” passed to Him through inheritance that they falsely believe all other men do. This is just one of the very unBiblical by-products of this antichrist theology that has come to the visible church through the teachings of Augustine.)

So it is because Augustine was a Gnostic long before he joined with the RCC that he allowed his Gnostic beliefs to bleed over into his interpretation of scripture. Adding to and taking away from what the Bible plainly teaches. So that Augustine and those who adhere to his doctrines, not ever thinking to ask the right questions, have wrongly concluded that when Adam ate the fruit he was separated from God.

But, as we have now seen in the plain language of the Biblical account there is never any such thing taught anywhere in the scriptures. This is so obvious through any objective reading of the Bible, that we see that those who choose Augustine’s teachings over the plain teaching in the Bible have found that the only way to force this into the scriptures is to take scriptures completely out of their context to make them mean something that was never intended by God.

HNewsWire Logo Bottom Menu

For example,

We can see this out of context interpretation being applied when Isaiah says in Isaiah59:2 “But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you, that he will not hear”. They are driven by their adherence to Augustine’s doctrines to force this passage onto the whole world. When it is only written to Israelites who were under the law. And they even use it to show that this is how Adam’s sin has separated all mankind from God.

In context, this verse is written only to those who sinned by violating the law that came through Moses because only they were ever under the law. That is Israel. So this verse is only possible under the law because this is the only time when Paul says sin is imputed(Rom.5:13). So it can not apply to anyone other than Israel because Paul plainly says they have never been under the law of Moses (Eph.2:12).

So we see that the teaching that Adam’s sin separated him and the rest of mankind from God is not based on what the Bible says. It is based on the teachings of the pagan Gnosticism of Augustine. And the subsequent distortion of the scriptures their “systematic theology” causes.

This means that when one has come to believe as Augustine did by way of interpreting the scriptures through “systematic theology”, they have denied the faith that was once delivered to the saints. How? Because from the very start they insert into the scriptures that all men are separated from God by Adam’s sin. When what has really happened is that death began to reign over what has been made because it was separated from the tree of life, not from God. This is how death reigns over the natural world. A world that was not made by God with the ability to relate to Him spiritually in the first place. A world that is waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God so it too can be “delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.”Rom.8:20,21.

So from Genesis and Paul’s gospel, we see that man relates to God naturally now just as Adam did when God made him. The only difference being that death reigns over the natural body now, whereas in the garden it did not. This is not, however, a separation from God. But, only a separation from the tree of life.

So the Biblical reasons that stem from the events in the garden that created man’s need for Jesus to save him are 1- So that man can be born of the Spirit(John3:4-6). So that now as a spiritual being man can relate to God on a spiritual level to love and know God in intimate fellowship as Jesus said we must in John4:24. And 2- Because after Adam ate the fruit man was banned from the tree of life which caused his natural body to die. So for all mankind, it was the need to bring an end to physical death that created the need for Jesus to conquer death. He did by His resurrection. But, to raise from the dead He first had to join with a man in his death. So that His resurrection made it possible for all who would believe in Him to also conquer death by receiving a new body that has been redeemed(Rom.8:23) by Jesus’ ransom(1Tim.2:6) of His body(Heb.10:5,6) from the power of death(Heb.2:14,15). A body that has no need for the tree of life to have eternal life as Adam’s natural body did. Because this new body is a spiritual body(1Cor.15:44-58), not a natural one like the one God gave Adam when he was made. Which is also the same body all men are born with.

Have you believed in Jesus? Have you been born of the Spirit so you can inherit eternal life? So that you too can receive the new spiritual body when you put off this old one that believing His resurrection is our resurrection gives you?

If you are reading this God is calling you. He loves you and wants you to know Him. Because knowing Him is eternal life.John17:3. So if you do not know Him please take the time right now to pray and confess Jesus as Lord of your life. And believe that He has raised from the dead. Because by doing this and really meaning it from your heart you will be saved from death to life. From sin to righteousness. And from the wrath to peace with God. Because when you trust in Jesus you leave the old life behind where you were only able to trust in what has been made. And now will be equipped to trust in Jesus who alone can equip you for heaven because by His resurrection He is the only WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE

Prophecy Unfolding Before Our Eyes in Real-Time

God often uses men who are not of the best moral character. Pharaoh, Nebuchadnezzar, Cyrus, Herod, and Trump (amongst others), to accomplish His will in events He orchestrates during human history. We either trust the sovereignty of God or we don’t. Nothing happens apart from Him…

The best index to a person’s character is how he treats people who can’t do him any good, and how he treats people who can’t fight back…

The Birth Pains Are Growing Stronger….

One of the signs of ruling class collapse is when they can no longer enforce the rules that maintain them as a ruling class. When the Romans started making exceptions to republican governance, it was a matter of time before someone simply decided the rules no longer applied to them. Perhaps the robot historians will consider Obama our Marius or Sulla. Maybe that person is in the near future. Either way, the rule of law is over and what comes next is the rule of men.

  2. We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9. persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed— 10. always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body. 11. For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus’ sake, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh.
