After a cease and desist letter was dismissed by the firm, Purolator courier employees are planning to sue their employer over its required COVID-19 immunization policy. According to a statement acquired by The Epoch Times on May 6, a group of hundreds of unionized and non-unionized employees will demand hundreds of millions of dollars in punitive damages from Purolator. Purolator’s vaccination policy required staff to be completely vaccinated by Nov. 1 and legally allows medical and conscience exemptions, but the group of employees claims that all accommodation requests have so far been denied.
