A pro-Trump meme maker and Twitter troll was indicted Wednesday by the feds for using the social media platform to ‘spread election disinformation’ to Hillary Clinton voters in 2016.

“Ricky Vaughn” AKA, Douglass Mackey, used Twitter to post memes and troll Hillary Clinton during the 2016 presidential election cycle.

The man behind pro-Trump Twitter troll account “Ricky Vaughn” was busted in Florida on Wednesday for spreading disinformation during the 2016 presidential election in a scheme to limit black turnout, officials said.

Douglass Mackey, 31, was arrested in West Palm Beach on one charge of conspiracy against rights, for which he faces up to 10 years in prison.

Between September and November 2016, Mackey allegedly conspired with others to use social media messaging to encourage blacks to cast their votes via text message so their ballots wouldn’t count, according to Brooklyn federal prosecutors.

On Nov. 1, one week before the presidential election that ushered in President Donald Trump’s term, Mackey allegedly tweeted an image of a black woman in front of an “African Americans for President Hillary” sign. Written on the photograph was the message, “Avoid the Line. Vote from Home. Text ‘Hillary’ to 59925. Vote for Hillary and be a part of history,” the complaint states.

More than 4,900 people, encouraged by the misinformation campaign, cast their vote via text, officials said.

“There is no place in public discourse for lies and misinformation to defraud citizens of their right to vote,” said Acting US Attorney for the Eastern District of New York Seth DuCharme.

Twitter cracks down on ‘alt-right’ accounts

Mackey’s Twitter account under the name Vaughn — Charlie Sheen’s character in “Major League” — had attracted more than 58,000 followers by early 2016.

That same year, the MIT Media Lab ranked him as the 107th most important social media influencer of the presidential election, coming in ahead of NBC News and the Drudge Report, officials said.

After it was revealed in 2018 that Mackey was the man behind Vaughn, the Huffington Post called him an “‘alt-right’ white nationalist” who used his alter ego to peddle racist and anti-Semitic views.

Mackey is expected to appear Wednesday afternoon before US Magistrate Judge Bruce Reinhart at the West Palm Beach federal courthouse.

Satan Soldier Jack@ Twitter has suspended accounts of several well-known “alt-right” members — the same day it announced new measures to combat online harassment and hate speech.

The alt-right, a fringe brand of conservatism that includes proponents of white nationalism, has flourished in the deepest corners of the internet.

Among the suspended accounts is Richard Spencer, president of the National Policy Institute, a white nationalist think tank “dedicated to the heritage, identity, and future of people of European descent in the United States.”

Following the suspension, Spencer uploaded a YouTube video decrying the purge as “corporate Stalinism” and “something like the Night of Long Knives” — a reference to Hitler’s execution of rival Nazi leaders in 1934.

The accounts for Spencer’s magazine, Radix Journal and NPI, were also suspended.

Spencer is credited with coining the term alt-right in 2008 and has said he wants to see minorities expelled from the country.

Paul Town, Pax Dickinson, Ricky Vaughn and John Rivers were also among the suspended alt-right accounts identified by USA Today.

Dickinson, former chief technology officer for Business Insider, announced his suspension on his Facebook page, writing “probably triggered their automatic algorithms by too much winning lately.”

And Vaughn, whose real identity remains unknown, was first suspended from Twitter in October under the handle @Ricky_Vaughn99, which led his supporters to start the #FreeRicky hashtag.

According to his Facebook page, it appears he’d since created other handles, including @ReturnofRV, and @DatRickyVaughn, both of which were suspended as of Tuesday.

Vaughn previously told The Ralph Retort that “white people in particular are being targeted because we hold within ourselves the light of civilization, beauty, truth, justice, et cetera.”

In July, Twitter permanently banned Milo Yiannopoulos — a well-known alt-right figurehead — after he encouraged his followers to tweet racist messages and images to comedian Leslie Jones.

“I supported people like Milo when they were banned from Twitter,” Spencer said in his video. “But Milo was engaging in something that could be called ‘harassment.’

“I and a number of other people who just got banned were not even trolling.”

The suspensions follow President-elect Donald Trump’s controversial appointment of Steve Bannon, the former Breitbart News executive chairman, as an adviser.

In August, Hillary Clinton called out the alt-right movement during a campaign speech in Reno, Nevada, saying the “racist ideology” was “not Republicanism as we have known it.”

Twitter declined to comment on the specific suspensions, citing privacy and security concerns, but said in a statement to USA Today: “The Twitter Rules prohibit targeted abuse and harassment, and we will suspend accounts that violate this policy.”

We are doomed as a nation if we continue to obey Satan Soldiers .
