That was the recent gospel according to the leader of a Missouri church, who allegedly tried to pay for sex on Grindr, a gay hookup app, using an Arby’s card, according to the New York Post. 

Barry Cole Poyner attempted to “bed college-age guys” by offering to pay for their gas, clothes – and roast beef sandwiches – according to local authorities. He used the online handle “DILF” while communicating. 

Poyner, 57, is a Church of Christ elder and professor at nearby Truman State University. He was busted after a student reported him and a cop went undercover on the app. Poyner then sent the officer a message saying he would “love to have a sugar daddy relationship”. He offered to fill up his gas tank (honestly, no pun intended – honestly) in exchange for sexual favors on December 3.

Poyner said if the younger guy was willing he “might throw in an Arby’s card LOL.”

But the joke was on Poyner.

When he showed up as the gas station for the meetup, he was met by officers and tried to flee. He has then pulled over several blocks away. He told police he was “not doing anything with a minor” and was “only trying to help”. He was charged with patronizing prostitution and faces up to six months in jail. 

He has since been suspended from Truman State, though it is unclear whether or not he is still in a leadership role at the Church of Christ. Source

America Has Fallen into the Hands of God Haters, Warmongers, and Moral Reprobates

Reprobate” and “rejected” are the same word here.  Webster’s dictionary defines this word as “not enduring proof or trial; not of standard purity or fitness; disallowed; rejected.”

In times past, it was American leadership worldwide which provided a haven for religious freedom. Now that the U.S. has succumbed to evil it is no longer seen as a protector, but instead as an aggressor, signaling a collapse in virtue the world over. Now that we have turned our back on right and truth we have entered into a period of moral free fall.

If anyone is to blame for the state of worldwide Christian persecution it is America herself due to the betrayal of its own founding principles. Christian persecution is on the rise because the pastors and leaders of America have allowed America to fall into the hands of God-haters, warmongers, and moral reprobates.

I hear all the time Christians saying they welcome the tribulation as a sign of the end times and Jesus’ close return. What we need to realize is God will hold this generation accountable for the moral failings we have allowed, especially concerning the allowance of persecution of his saints. This is despicable reasoning almost demonic and is just another indicator as to how fallen from truth Christians have become in our modern age.

Here is a great verse that nails the moral failings of our country, Christians and pastors.

They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.  Titus 1:16

Reprobates and Sinners

 Pre-tribbers. Christians who believe in a pre-tribulation rapture have nothing to show for themselves. The idea that Christians will be raptured (taken bodily up to heaven) before the onset of the apocalyptic tribulation (a) is completely un-biblical, (b) emerged only in the 19th century, and (c) was popularized by the Left Behind novels in the sensationalist way of The DaVinci Code. There are technical problems with this view (namely, there’s not a single Bible passage that lends credence to it) and the more general problem, which is that the early apostles and Christians not only expected to suffer the tribulation before they were raptured; they saw it as their holy duty. In the synoptic gospels, the letters of Paul, and the Book of Revelation, the rapture comes after the tribulation and prior to God’s wrath pouring out over the earth.

God finally got tired of being patient with them and turned them into sodomites/perverts: “God gave them up to vile affections” (Rom 1:26); “God gave them over to a reprobate mind” (1:28); “God gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts” (1:24). The explanation for homosexuality: “When sodomites say ‘God made me that way’, they’re actually right. But God didn’t make them that way when they were born. God made them that way when they rejected Him (‘glorified Him not as God’) one too many times, and then God discarded them by turning them into homo.” As reprobates, sodomites, unlike most sinners, cannot possibly be saved, nor should anyone want to try saving them: “He that is filthy, let him be filthy still” (Rev 22:11). It’s the whole reason God turned them into sodomites, to begin with: to turn them into the trash, because of their unrelentingly God-hating hearts.

Bible translators/biblical scholars. Almost as bad as the first category, these people are, like the sodomites, irredeemable reprobates. Revelation 22:19, which speaks of anyone who tampers with the Word of God — that is, anyone who either adds or removes from the words of the precious King James Bible, indeed anyone who insists on changing but a single word of that bible — as “blotted out of the Book of Life” and irrevocably damned. Once removed from the book, they can’t be put back in.

Abortion doctors; pro-choice crusaders; women who obtain abortions. Abortion doctors, or any who have some kind of pro-active role in procuring abortions, are especially wicked. They murder the most innocent and vulnerable.

Atheists/evolutionists. They are especially in danger of becoming reprobates — unrelenting “haters of God”, whom the Lord will turn into sodomites (category #1) if they persist in virulently rejecting Him.

When the American culture did not glorify God as God, we became vain in our imagination and our hearts were darkened.  When we changed the glory of God into the image of a man and began to worship man rather than God, He gave us up to uncleanness.  The so-called sexual revolution followed shortly after some landmark decisions were made to turn away from God in our nation.  Since we, as a culture, changed the truth of God into a lie, we have been turned over to vile affections which have become normalized within our culture.  We are quickly on the road to reprobation as a culture because, on the whole, we do not like to retain God in our knowledge.  This same progression can be seen in the collapse of every human culture.  Consider Greece, Rome, and many others for whom a rejection of the true God brought the same moral and spiritual decay.  Within each of these cultures, however, individuals have always had the ability to repent and trust in God, reject the cultural drift, and accept the truth of God’s Word.

Remember that Romans says that God turned them over to a reprobate mind, that is, He let them have the mind they wanted.  They wanted to reject God and so He turned them over to their desires.  They get what they want.  They don’t want God and so He lets them go.  This is the true and Biblical understanding of what a reprobate is.  Let us all heed the warning that Paul gives to examine ourselves in the faith and make sure that we are not in danger of becoming reprobate.

The time is right for Satan to prosper and bless the sin of sodomy. Soon the devil will be permitted to set up the kingdom of the antichrist. In order to get the people closer to accepting the antichrist, they must accept all forms of immorality and occultism. The devil and his children are making good progress in spreading their sexual immorality and occultism on a worldwide level.

God knows that evil is not combated with love and understanding.
