The Marine Corps announced Thursday that 133 Marines have been discharged for refusing to take the COVID vaccine, as the military services begin to discharge a pool of potentially as many as 30,000 active duty service members who have refused to be vaccinated despite multiple opportunities to do so past vaccination deadlines. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin ordered obligatory COVID vaccinations for all US military members in late August.
