Pedophilia, the Next Logical Step in Leftist Sex Agenda

The Bible has a list of seven sins that God detests, although this list is quite different from what is commonly known as the “seven deadly sins”:

“There are six things that the LORD hates,
seven that are an abomination to him:
haughty eyes, a lying tongue,
and hands that shed innocent blood,
a heart that devises wicked plans,
feet that make haste to run to evil,
a false witness who breathes out lies,
and one who sows discord among brothers.”
(Proverbs 6:16-19)

The biblical list includes 1) pride, 2) lying, 3) violence, 4) wickedness, 5) a greedy pursuit of vice, 6) false witness, and 7) discord. There is nothing said about these sins being any more “deadly” than other sins, simply that the LORD hates them.

The seven deadly sins taught in church tradition are 1) wrath, 2) greed, 3) sloth, 4) pride, 5) lust, 6) envy, and 7) gluttony. The fourth-century monk Evagrius Ponticus first provided a list of seven deadly sins similar to this list in Greek.

First, we were told men wanting to marry men was normal. Consenting adults, we were told, should be able to commit to anyone they want. Why that had to be under the traditional title of marriage was never made clear, but none the less, Homosexual marriage won the day and a segment of Americans has now accepted it as normal.

Just over fifty years ago, adultery and fornication spread through American culture followed by the gradual increase of pornography, abortion, homosexuality, and eventually, transgenderism. The immoral influence of Margaret Sanger, Alfred Kinsey, Hugh Heffner, and several others began infecting a formerly conservative, family-based, Christian nation. 

We can debate about how this nation was founded on Judeo-Christian principles and when the moral decline accelerated to the point we are no longer a godly, moral people as a whole. The fact is things that used to be talked about in whispers are now proudly proclaimed and celebrated. 

The promotion of what the Bible calls sinful is bombarding us due to the ongoing campaigns in Hollywood, the media, government, public schools, and corporations. The dumbing-down of our values has been effective and clearly, the next step is already in the works: pedophilia. If sex, life, and gender no longer matter, why should age matter? ‘Love is love,’ they say. 

How did we get here? Public opinion has shifted dramatically on same-sex marriage in recent years, or more accurately, flipped. 

According to new PEW Research: just fifteen years ago (2004), the majority of Americans opposed same-sex marriage sixty (60%) percent to thirty-one (31%) percent. Since that time, with the help of outstanding marketing efforts by the left (giving credit where credit is due) along with the LGBTQ lobby, support is now at sixty-one (61%) percent – while those who oppose same-sex marriage are at thirty-one (31%) percent. 

This is almost an exact reversal from opposition to approval. If you are older than sixteen, you have seen a complete 180 in public support of what used to be defined as sin. Even for those who are not Christians, most believed these behaviors were wrong. This kind of shift does not happen naturally, on its own. It takes an effective (and relentless) promotion. 

Indoctrinate the kids. Promote sexuality. Normalize extreme behavior. Celebrate pride! 

Romans 12:2 states: 

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

This brings up another problem. We do not expect the world, unbelievers to live according to the Bible’s morality. We should, however, except those within the professing (claiming to be Christian) church to live and speak according to the truth in Scripture. 

Tragically, however, not only have the American people generally accepted everything LGBTQ, Christian denominations have raised the white flag as well. More on this in a moment. 

Just ask if it applies to Christianity, the next time you hear these words: equality, justice, affirming, diversity, inclusive, nonjudgment, free speech, and of course, tolerance. Language has been hijacked to push an agenda and minimize sin. Double standards are already glaring, but will some of the same words be used to normalize pedophilia? 

The Daily Wire’s  Matt Walsh believes the left is doing just that and makes a great point about the sudden acceptance of “drag queen story hours” and sadly, “drag kids.” He correctly states these were not on anyone’s radar just ten years ago: 

“Now both are utterly commonplace, yet leftists will insist even though grown men in dresses like to hang out with little children at libraries, and adults like to go to gay bars to watch boys dance around in skirts and high heels, there is nothing sexual about any of it. Ten years from now, or maybe sooner, they will admit that it is sexual but insist that there is nothing wrong with a young boy and a grown man getting together, so long as it is consensual. You do not need to be Nostradamus to see this next step. It is right in front of us, clear as day.”

When you consider the left’s influence, the state of our morality comes as no surprise.

Back to the research on same-sex marriage for a moment. There is also quite a gap between people on opposite sides of the political aisle. Seventy-five percent (75%) of Democrats are all-in compared to just thirty-seven (37%) percent of Republicans. 

If you’ve been a true believer in Christ for any length of time, one of the saddest things today is the accommodation of “gay Christians” into many congregations as well as the infiltration of gay activists, ministers, and pastors. Among denominations, the growing openness to homosexuality simply reveals a departure from the truth. 

Please note I did not say ‘openness to homosexuals.’ We should be open to dialogue, loving and compassionate toward any and every sinner. Such were some of us! I said “openness to homosexuality,” meaning the behavior or lifestyle becoming rationalized. This apostasy leads to false teachings about justifying sin instead of the conviction of sin and repentance. 

Is it too late to change these trends? I’m not sure, but I would speculate that we cannot reverse this locomotive of immorality anytime soon. I also believe the depravity we’re seeing today is a consequence of Christian silence. For decades, too many professing believers have taken the path of least resistance – or perhaps they’ve just been too busy and distracted. But the true gospel must be preached! 

Mission America’s Linda Harvey has warned about this for years. The Church and its leaders will have some explaining to do on Judgment Day. In an article, “What’s at Stake for Christians in the War over Homosexuality,” Harvey pleaded: 

“Why did you spend little or no time in the pulpit dealing with this and all the related sexuality issues – promiscuity, pornography, adultery, fornication – sins that are tearing apart the families and personal lives of even Bible-confessing Christians? Why did you constantly decry ‘political involvement’ when this is a deeply moral issue, one for which there are ready arguments to be made in the public square had more Christian leaders been willing to make them?”

As for many on the left, they say they just want to “live and let live” but we are no longer naive enough to think it stops there. Those who have created gods in their own image don’t want any other God, authority, or moral standard. 

And if you are a follower of Jesus and believe the Bible is true, that makes you part of the problem. Christianity is in their way. They look at sexual perversion as freedom and the Christian faith as restricting. Few consider whether or not it is true. 

Due to the fact every human being has a conscience and that we know right from wrong, you and I are reminders to the rebellious that there is a holy God, One we will all answer to someday. Skeptical? Consider the evidence for the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Let’s be thankful for the right and freedom to believe the truth, and if you’re on the other side, I hope you’ll consider it before it’s too late.

The silencing of the American people before 2020?

The Un-Godly — Those That Suppress the Truth, the social media giants built multi-billion dollar empires by giving everyone a voice, but now that they have such a dominant position on the Internet they have decided that many prominent conservative voices should be completely silenced.

Our government has been overthrown. As evidenced by Trump’s capitulation on the border, his recent servitude to the GMO industry and his acquiescence to the warmongers, our President has been compromised. Our liberties are being eliminated one by one. Gun confiscation is next. The Constitution is gasping its last breaths. Our borders are destroyed and our culture has been turned upside down by every perversion known to man.

Usually, the Lord doth no great thing for or against his people, without giving warning of it before it comes.

It is impossible to find anyone in the Bible who was a power for God who did not have enemies and was not hated.

“Pedophile” has reverberated throughout America.
