Protests Continue to Rage in Germany.

On Monday, tens of thousands of people came to the streets of Germany to protest the COVID-19 restrictions, which are slated to take effect today. According to local sources, over 15,000 people marched to the streets across multiple cities in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, northern Germany, to oppose stricter restrictions. According to Tagesschau, which quoted police estimates, roughly 3,000 people demonstrated in Cottbus. Around 9,000 people came to the streets in 16 different sites around Brandenburg in the east. According to local sources, hundreds more protested in Hesse, Baden-Württemberg, and numerous locations in Lower Saxony. Approximately 6,500 people marched in Rostock, a city on the Warnow River on the country’s north shore, while around 2,700 people demonstrated in Schwerin, and around 2,400 people demonstrated in Neubrandenburg.
