Right Wing Law Makers Are Sounding The Alarm As Biden Seeks To Ban Magazines With 10 Or More Rounds.

President Joe Biden’s Thursday address promoting a new “assault weapons” ban and a ban on “high-capacity” magazines sparked anxiety among Republican legislators, with some claiming that a slew of recent Democratic measures would infringe on Americans’ Second Amendment rights.

Biden mentioned recent mass shootings in Uvalde, Texas, Buffalo, New York, and Tulsa, Oklahoma, during his address. The president went on to say that “assault weapons” and “high-capacity magazines,” which store more than ten bullets, should be prohibited. He didn’t explain what he meant by “assault weapons,” a word that conservatives and GOP legislators have criticized as ambiguous.

“If we can’t outlaw assault rifles, we should raise the purchasing age from 18 to 21,” he added. Meanwhile, the US has to “strengthen background checks; adopt safe storage and red flag regulations; eliminate the immunity that protects gun manufacturers from litigation; and address the mental health issue, which is increasing the pain of gun violence,” according to him.

“Let me be clear: this isn’t about taking away people’s guns. It’s not about demonizing gun owners,” Biden said, adding that the Second Amendment is “not absolute.”

After Biden’s address, Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) told Fox News that the president’s plan to remove so-called “liability shields” for gun makers is simply a ploy to “[quickly] drive gun manufacturers out of business” by enabling “frivolous litigation.”

According to the member, Democrats are attempting to persuade “some of the weak-kneed Republicans” in the Senate to “bite” on some of their legislation. He stated on Twitter, “Democrats aren’t serious about eliminating school shootings, but they are serious about seizing your firearms.”

During a House committee hearing, Rep. Greg Steube (R-Fla.) used his own pistols as an example of how a prohibition on magazines with more than 10 rounds targets ordinary handguns.

“I was trying to emphasize to the American people that this isn’t simply a rifle magazine limit,” he said on Thursday on “Tucker Carlson Tonight.” According to legislation voted by the House Judiciary Committee earlier in the day, “every single semi-automatic weapon that accepts more than a 10-round magazine would be illegal.”

The way these democrats think is so backwards it’s beyond comprehension. If a criminal feels driven to commit violence with a gun, they likely aren’t concerned about what the law has to say about possession of a firearm and magazine capacity. With that being said, who exactly is it that the democrats are trying to disarm? Weapons have been around for thousands of years, banning them will only leave law abiding citizens defenseless.

Could that possibly be what the left wants? Perhaps, considering they’re so fond of big pharma, big tech, the WEF, WHO, etc. Leftists are unknowingly programmed to share the same beliefs as globalists. Two US Secret Service personnel who were assigned to President Joe Biden’s trip to Asia have been ordered to return home after one of them was charged with assault.

According to a police officer from the Yongsan district, the agent was arrested in the early hours of Thursday in South Korea following a confrontation with a local over a cab. The incident occurred outside the Grand Hyatt hotel, where Biden was to stay on his five-day Asia trip, which began on May 20.

According to a Washington official, the suspected individual was just “investigated” by Korean authorities, not arrested or jailed. The investigation of the second agent engaged in the disagreement was not conducted.

The name of the local agent under investigation is unknown. The agent was detained when a fellow hotel guest alerted the authorities, according to South Korean network TV Chosun, which first reported the event. The agent is in his thirties, according to reports.

“The Secret Service is aware of an off-duty event involving two personnel that might result in possible policy breaches,” Anthony Guglielmi, the US Secret Service’s Chief of Communications, told The Epoch Times. “The people will be restored to their posts and placed on administrative leave immediately.” The future trip was not affected.”

“We’ve stated unequivocally that our information indicates the actual likelihood of more missile tests (sic)—including a long-range missile test or a nuclear test or, frankly, both—in the days preceding up to, during, or after the President’s visit to the region,” Sullivan said.

Sullivan stated that they are working on the problem with both Japan and Korea. He has also discussed the issue with his Chinese colleague.

Biden will visit South Korea and Japan during his five-day trip as part of Washington’s efforts to boost regional allies in the wake of the Ukraine war. He will also participate in the Quad Summit on May 24.

It seems as though a man or woman of God is hard to come by these days, and the likelihood of one entering and changing anything about our current situation is very low.
