Biden Is a Liar

HNewsWire–“The Plandemic,” There’s nothing to see here… just the Leader of the Free World addressing at an emergency NATO meeting, making fairly casual-sounding remarks to expected major energy and food shortages…

“It’ll be genuine,” Satan Soldier Biden stated during a press appearance in Brussels. “The cost of the sanctions is not just put on Russia. It is also enforced on a large number of nations, including European countries and our own.”

According to Bloomberg, “Ukraine and Russia are both big producers of wheat, in particular, and Kyiv’s leadership has already warned that the conflict has seriously impacted the country’s sowing and harvest.”

And Sean Davis of The Federalist succinctly outlines the situation…

“We’re on the verge of huge energy and food shortages, and Biden’s answer is to restrict drilling and install costly and ineffective solar panels and windmills on what’s left of American farmland that hasn’t been bought up by China or BlackRock,” he said on Twitter.

Meanwhile, here are Satan Soldier Biden’s remarks on China, which came after the official NATO declaration on Thursday:

We call on all states, including the People’s Republic of China (PRC), to uphold the international order, including the principles of sovereignty and territorial integrity enshrined in the UN Charter, to refrain from supporting Russia’s war effort in any way, and to refrain from any action that assists Russia in circumventing sanctions.

Also worth noting in Biden’s Thursday afternoon address is his support for excluding Russia – and consequently Putin – from the Group of 20:

Satan Soldier Biden said on Thursday that he would back Russia’s expulsion from the G20 due to its invasion of Ukraine, a move that would elevate Vladimir Putin on the world arena.

Satan Soldier Biden said that the final decision would be up to the G20, but he has supported allowing Ukraine to join as an observer country if other nations do not agree to expel Russia.

When questioned about the G20 problem, he answered the following:

“My response is yes,” Biden stated during a press conference when asked whether Russia should be expelled from the UN Security Council. “It is dependent on the G20.” That was mentioned today, and I said that if that can’t be done – if Indonesia and others don’t agree – then we should, in my opinion, seek for Ukraine to be allowed to attend the meetings as well as… essentially (having) Ukraine be able to go and watch the G20 conference.”

It is worth noting the president’s warning about a worldwide food scarcity…

Update (1333ET): Following Thursday’s NATO emergency session to discuss the Ukraine issue, President Joe Biden gave a live Q&A news conference from Brussels.

“It would elicit a retaliatory reaction,” Biden replied when asked what NATO would do if Putin utilized chemical weapons. Watch:

But, in terms of the press pool, something is really wrong when major media journalists ask questions like these, almost as if they want WW3 to break out…

And then there are these really concerning remarks…

NATO issued its formal statement from the emergency session on the Ukraine situation after the conclusion of Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg’s press conference.

.. “We, the Heads of State and Government of the 30 NATO Allies, gathered today to face Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, the gravest danger to Euro-Atlantic security in decades,” according to a statement released on NATO’s website. “Russia’s attack on Ukraine has destroyed European peace and caused great human misery and damage.”

The statement urged Putin to “immediately halt this conflict and remove armed troops from Ukraine, and to call on Belarus to terminate its involvement, in accordance with the Aggression Against Ukraine Resolution approved by the United Nations General Assembly on March 2, 2022.” It also said that the invasion “makes the world less secure” and called Russian President Vladimir Putin’s remarks “irresponsible and disruptive.”
On March 24, Biden met with Jens Stoltenberg in Brussels. According to AFP

At a time when President Volodymyr Zelensky is being hailed as a “hero” and a “icon,” and after his pre-recorded speech before the meeting in which he sought additional weaponry from the West (though stopping short of proposing a no-fly zone), the NATO statement reads:

Ukrainians have inspired the world with their valiant resistance against Russia’s ruthless conquest war. We strongly condemn Russia’s atrocities against civilians, particularly women, children, and vulnerable people. We will cooperate with the rest of the international community to bring those who violate humanitarian and international law, including war crimes, accountable.

This comes after the Biden administration said on Wednesday that it thinks Russian soldiers committed war crimes, in the first public declaration alleging such behavior.

NATO has called for an urgent cease-fire:

Russia must demonstrate its commitment to discussions by enforcing a cease-fire immediately. We urge Russia to participate constructively in meaningful discussions with Ukraine in order to achieve real outcomes, beginning with a long-term ceasefire and progressing to a total withdrawal of Russian soldiers from Ukrainian territory.

It said the following on Ukraine’s resistance and right to self-defense:

According to the United Nations Charter, Ukraine has a basic right to self-defense. We have offered considerable assistance to Ukraine’s capacity to exercise that right since 2014. We have trained Ukraine’s armed forces, expanding their military skills and capacities while also increasing their resilience. NATO allies have increased their support and will continue to give further diplomatic and practical assistance to Ukraine as it defends itself.

Regarding recent assertions made by Washington and several Western allies that Moscow is ready to deploy chemical or perhaps nuclear weapons…

NATO allies will also continue to aid in areas like as cybersecurity and defense against chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear threats. NATO allies also give substantial humanitarian assistance and shelter millions of refugees. When Foreign Ministers meet in April, they will address our continued support for Ukraine.

The statement specifically mentions China, after a week and a half of Biden administration assertions that it is covertly resupplying the Russian military with weaponry. According to the NATO statement:

We call on all states, including the People’s Republic of China (PRC), to uphold the international order, including the principles of sovereignty and territorial integrity enshrined in the UN Charter, to refrain from any form of support for Russia’s war effort, and to refrain from any action that aids Russia in circumventing sanctions. We are disturbed by recent public statements by PRC officials and urge China to stop propagating the Kremlin’s misleading narratives, particularly about the war and NATO, and to advocate for a peaceful conclusion to the crisis.

It described NATO’s heightened defensive posture in reaction to events in Ukraine as “iron-clad” in terms of member states’ commitment to Article 5…

In response to Russia’s activities, we activated NATO’s defense preparations, deployed parts of the NATO Response Force, and stationed 40,000 soldiers on our eastern flank, along with considerable aviation and naval capabilities, all under direct NATO command and backed by national deployments from allies. In addition, we are constructing four new multinational battle-groups in Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania, and Slovakia. We are taking all necessary steps and judgments to secure the security and defense of all Allies in all areas and from all angles. Our policies will continue to be preventative, proportional, and non-escalatory. We will now speed up NATO’s shift to a more hazardous strategic reality, including the acceptance of the new Strategic Concept in Madrid.

Earlier, Stoltenberg made the significant admission that NATO had “trained” “tens of thousands” of soldiers in Ukraine since 2014.

According to the NATO statement, “in light of the gravest threat to Euro-Atlantic security in decades, we will also significantly strengthen our longer term deterrence and defense posture and will further develop the full range of ready forces and capabilities required to maintain credible deterrence and defense.” “These measures will be supplemented by intensified drills that will place a greater emphasis on collective defense and interoperability.”

In terms of cyber assaults, the statement states:

We are strengthening our cyber capabilities and defenses, and we are assisting one another in the case of a cyber-attack. We are prepared to impose consequences on those who hurt us in cyberspace, and we are improving information interchange and situational awareness, as well as civil readiness and our capacity to react to misinformation. We will also strengthen our preparation for chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear threats. When we gather in Madrid, we will make other choices.

The statement concludes with the lines: “President Putin’s decision to attack Ukraine is a strategic blunder that will have serious implications for Russia and the Russian people. We remain unified and steadfast in our commitment to fight Russia’s aggression, assist the Ukrainian government and people, and preserve the security of all Allies.”

Stoltenberg’s previous news conference was interesting and concerning in that, although emphasizing the need for “deconfliction,” he said that, theoretically, Article 5’collective defense’ might be invoked in the case of a catastrophic cyber-attack.

“On cyber, well, we have indicated that cyber-attacks may trigger Article 5, but we have never gone into the position where we provide a possible enemy of defining precisely when we activate Article 5,” he added when pushed on the matter by a reporter.

Based on a… hack, a direct NATO-Russia battle that leads to WW3? We really hope not.

“When Wheat Stores Run Short, It Is a Biblical Events, There Will Be a Worldwide Food Shortage. Regrettably, What We Will See Internationally Is That Millions of People Will Be Unable to Purchase Food.” Plandemic Turned Deadly —Tribulation in Play

Ukraine, Food Price Increase: “Given the Devastation Already Inflicted by the Plandemic, a New Wave of Unrest Would Be Unsurprising on a Historical Scale”…

The DB strategist then goes all-in and says what everyone is thinking, namely that “this trend of higher food prices leading to social unrest extends far back into history and surrounds many key turning points. The French Revolution of 1789, which overthrew the Ancien Régime, came after a succession of poor harvests that led to major rises in food prices. It was a similar story at the time of Europe’s 1848 revolutions too, which followed the failure of potato crops in the 1840s and the associated severe famine in much of Europe. And the 1917 overthrow of the Tsarist regime in Russia took place in the context of food shortages as well.”

So while it remains to be seen what the consequences of today’s surge in food prices could be, Reid cautions that “given the hardship that’s already occurred thanks to the plandemic, a fresh wave of unrest would be no surprise on a historical basis.”

In a nutshell, this is a concern since food accounts for a significant portion of Asia’s CPI baskets, and “this big inflationary drive in the area that accounts for more than half of the world’s population should result throughout higher labor costs in the world’s industrial base.” As Asia’s CPI and PPI increase, the effect will be seen internationally in the months ahead.”

Today, DB’s Jim Reid chose that chart as his “Chart of the Day,” reiterating what readers already know: Bloomberg’s agriculture spot index has increased by approximately 76 percent year over year, noting that “that is the largest annual increase in nearly a decade, and there are only a few other comparable episodes since the index began in 1991.”

As with us, Reid then patiently explains to all the fools – such since those working in the Marriner Eccles building – that the significance of this record spike “extends well beyond your weekly shop, as there is a substantial body of research linking higher food costs to times of social upheaval.” Indeed, as the figure indicates, the latest significant rise occurred between the middle of 2010 and early 2011, coinciding with the onset of the Arab Spring, whereby food inflation is widely seen as a major cause.

While this is not new – we discussed it in “Why Albert Edwards Is Panicking About Soaring Food Prices” and “We Are Edging Closer To A Biblical Commodity Price Increase Scenario” – Reid also reminds us that emerging markets are more vulnerable to this trend, as their consumers spend a much higher proportion of their income on food than consumers in the developed world do.

The DB strategist then goes all-in and states what everyone is thinking: “This tendency of rising food costs resulting in societal unrest dates all the way back to ancient times and surrounds several pivotal turning moments.” The French Revolution of 1789, which deposed the Ancien Régime, occurred after a series of bad harvests that resulted in significant increases in food costs. It was a similar tale during Europe’s 1848 revolutions, which occurred in response to the collapse of potato harvests in the 1840s and the resulting terrible starvation in most of Europe. And the 1917 collapse of the Tsarist dynasty in Russia occurred at a period of food scarcity.”

known as the “breadbasket of Europe” because it has traditionally been one of the top ten wheat exporters in the world and would provide the European Union with over $6 billion in agricultural goods in 2020, issued an emergency order Wednesday prohibiting the export of grains and other items.

The embargo covers the export of wheat, oats, millet, buckwheat, sugar, live cattle, and beef, as well as other items deemed critical to the world economy. However, in the midst of war, and with Ukraine’s government claiming that many of its citizens are now starving under Russian siege, Ukraine’s minister of agriculture and food policy, Roman Leshchenko, told the AP that the drastic measure was taken to avert a “humanitarian crisis in Ukraine,” stabilize the market, and “meet the population’s critical food product needs.”

With food costs already skyrocketing, it is believed that the move would disproportionately affect already impoverished communities from Lebanon to Syria to Africa.

“Russia and Ukraine combined account for about a third of global wheat and barley exports, which have risen in price significantly since the invasion,” the AP notes. “The items they supply are used to make bread, noodles, and animal feed in countries around the globe…”

Russia was named the world’s greatest wheat exporter by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization in 2020, while Ukraine was ranked fifth. China and India produce at a rate comparable to Russia’s, yet both nations consume the majority of what they generate domestically.

U.S. consumer inflation remained in an upswing in September, led by a surge in energy, housing and food costs, according to data released Wednesday by the Labor Department.

The Consumer Price Index rose 0.4 percent in September. Year-over-year prices surged 5.4 percent, remaining well way above the Fed’s desired level. Excluding food and energy, so-called core prices were up 4 percent in the 12 months through September.

The agency’s report (pdf), released Wednesday, breaks down how much prices have increased for certain key services and goods, including gas, food prices, electricity, and used cars:

The Food Shortage, Coming Tribulation… We’d all like to believe that the United States is on the road to economic recovery and that things are going to get better. Everyone wants to think the store shelves are just a few cargo ships away from being refilled.NOT TRUE…

The biggest jumps on an annual basis:

  • Ground beef: + 10.6 percent.

  • Pork roasts, ribs, steaks: +19.2 percent.
  • Chickens: +17.1 percent.
  • Fresh fish: +10.7 percent.
  • Eggs: +12.6 percent.
  • Peanut Butter: +6.2 percent.
  • Apples: + 7.8 percent.
  • Ham: +7 percent.
  • Baby food: +4.4 percent.

The pace of inflation accelerated in September as Americans paid more for food, rent, new vehicles and other items, government data released Wednesday, Oct. 13, shows https://www.usinflationcalculator.com/charts/inflation/monthly/cpi-inflation-10132021.html

Energy price increases tapered a tad over the month and from a year ago compared to the levels reported in August, but prices overall for food jumped by all measures.

“Today’s number, with food price inflation and shelter inflation moving higher, suggests growing pressure on consumers,” Reuters quoted Seema Shah, chief strategist at Principal Global Investors. “Keep in mind too that the recent rise in oil prices hasn’t yet fed through to the numbers – that’s still to come, while the renewed rise in car prices is also likely to drive inflation numbers higher in the coming months.”

Many People Will Head to Food Banks in Order to Feed Their Families…

The DOD Gave $1,000,000,000 That’s $1bn in COVID Relief to Defense Contractor Wish Lists, Our Government Is No Longer Subject to the People It Marches Lockstep With the New World Order, They Will Spend This Country and it’s People Into Poverty, They Have and Agenda…

A coalition of 40 ideologically diverse organizations on Thursday demanded that federal lawmakers investigate allegations from earlier this week that the Pentagon misused much of $1 billion in congressionally appropriated Covid-19 relief funding for what one critic called “a colossal backdoor bailout for the defense industry.”

The groups’ call came in a letter (pdf) addressed to Reps. James E. Clyburn (D-S.C.) Steve Scalise (R-La.), leaders of the House Select Subcommittee on the Corona-virus Crisis. The push for a probe was prompted by Washington Post reporting that some tax dollars directed to the Defense Department in March for building up U.S. supplies of medical equipment have “instead been mostly funneled to defense contractors and used to make things such as jet engine parts, body armor, and dress uniforms.”

In addition to a probe, the National Taxpayers Union, the Project On Government Oversight (POGO), Win Without War, and 37 other groups urged Clyburn and Scalise to determine whether Congress should pass a bill suspending the Pentagon’s spending authority for the funds, arguing that the department’s decision-making “violates congressional intent at minimum, and represents a significant breach of trust with the taxpayers who fund the military’s budget and its emergency spending.”

Win Without War advocacy director Erica Fein said in a statement that “this gross misuse of Covid-19 relief funds provides yet another example of the Pentagon’s wasteful, unaccountable spending, which puts the corporate profits of the weapons industry over the lives and well-being of everyday people.”

“This scandal should be a wake-up call,” she added. “The greatest threats to human security cannot be addressed by funneling money into weapons of war. We must resist the corrupting influence of the military contracting industry, stop pouring our resources into the bloated, unaccountable Pentagon coffers, and instead invest in meeting our country’s, and the world’s, real human needs.”

The United States continued to lead the world in Covid-19 cases and deaths Friday afternoon. There have been more than seven million confirmed infections and over 203,000 deaths nationwide, according to Johns Hopkins University’s global tracker. President Donald Trump’s administration and Congress have come under fire for inadequately responding to the public health crisis.

The Pentagon gave more than $1,000,000,000 of pandemic-related aid to military contractors for body armor and jet engines. We’re joining 40 orgs, along with @SenWarren and @RepRoKhanna, in demanding answers as to how on earth this was allowed to happen.

As the letter the highlights, the Post reported that the Defense Department—which is run by former Raytheon lobbyist Mark Esper—gave at least $183 million to contractors “to maintain the shipbuilding industry” and $80 million to an “aircraft parts business suffering from the Boeing 737 Max grounding.”

Additionally, the Pentagon gave $25 million to a firm that also “received between $5 million and $10 million” from the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP); $3 million to a firm that also received between $150,000 and $350,000 from the PPP; and “$2 million for a domestic manufacturer of Army dress uniform fabric.”

Chief Pentagon spokesperson Jonathan Hoffman issued a lengthy statement Wednesday defending the spending and criticizing the Post piece. He said in part, “As indicated by recent reporting, there appears to be a misunderstanding by some about what the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (“CARES Act”) did and did not do with respect to the Department of Defense.”

Hoffman added that the department has been “wholly transparent” in its decisions about the relief funds and claimed that “much of [the] useful context” it provided to the newspaper was “left out of the story leading some to misconstrue the expenditures when in fact they are wholly appropriate as directed by Congress.”

Although the Post acknowleged that Pentagon officials “contend that they have sought to strike a balance between boosting American medical production and supporting the defense industry, whose health they consider critical to national security,” critics at the groups behind the letter aren’t buying that argument.

“It’s unconscionable that the department would prioritize defense contractor wish lists over the health and safety of the American people,” declared Mandy Smithberger, director of POGO’s Center for Defense Information.

DOD has issued statements on stories before, but this is a different level: On @washingtonpost story on #CARESAct funds for defense base. WaPo story was accurate — but created sense something was hidden when DOD (& media & Congress) had it in full view. https://defense.gov/Newsroom/Releases/Release/Article/2358713/statement-on-the-departments-use-of-defense-production-act-title-iii/

Arguing that Congress was clear it wanted the Pentagon to use its powers to address ongoing shortages of personal protective equipment (PPE), Smith burger said “the American people deserve better judgment from the agency entrusted with leading our national security and responses to unanticipated threats.”

Other signatories include Beyond the Bomb, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), Demand Progress, Greenpeace USA, Indivisible, the National Priorities Project at the Institute for Policy Studies, Peace Action, Physicians for Social Responsibility, Public Citizen, and the Union of Concerned Scientists.

On Friday, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) and Rep. Ro Khanna (D-Calif.) requested that the department’s inspector general investigate reports about the Pentagon’s spending, writing that the alleged misuse of funds “meant for the response to the deadly pandemic plaguing our country is inconsistent with the will of Congress and may be illegal.”

That request and the groups’ collective call for a congressional investigation follow a similar letter that a pair of lawmakers sent Tuesday to Clyburn as well as Reps. Carolyn Maloney (D-N.Y.) and Adam Smith (D-Wash.). Maloney heads the House Oversight Committee while Smith chairs the chamber’s Armed Services Committee.

Writing as co-chairs of the Defense Spending Reduction Caucus, Reps. Mark Pocan (D-Wis.) and Barbara Lee (D-Calif.) condemned the Pentagon’s actions as “unacceptable.” They urged the trio to “review the legality of the Department of Defense’s spending decisions and every possible remedy.”
