Shut down the grass roots conservatives that were so helpful to Trump …

President Donald Trump may or may not have an inkling that he is the target of a color revolution but he does understand that the ongoing protests against him aren’t the result of the grass roots as falsely claimed by liberals.
Trump will do doubt be ripped to shreds by the media over his pointing out that the invasions of Republican town halls are well-funded and carefully organized events.
GOP members of Congress who have tried to meet with their constituents have seen their meetings hijacked by angry and often menacing mobs – a tactic historically utilized by Nazis and Communists to shut down political opposition.

Trump blasted the perception that these are legitimate protests via Twitter:

According to Politico “Trump lashes out at ‘so-called angry crowds’ at GOP town halls”:
President Donald Trump on Tuesday evening portrayed the heated reception some Republican lawmakers are getting at their town halls as fiction, instead accusing liberal activists of ginning up negative headlines.

“The so-called angry crowds in home districts of some Republicans are actually, in numerous cases, planned out by liberal activists. Sad!” Trump tweeted.
GOP lawmakers on recess, including Sen. Chuck Grassley, are getting an earful in their home districts, with some constituents railing against Trump’s plans to repeal Obamacare, his controversial Cabinet nominees and his Supreme Court pick.
Hill Republicans have accused liberal mega-donors of bankrolling a tide of local protesters, but organizing groups have denied that their efforts are being fueled by notable donors such as George Soros.

Democrats are egging on the protests as The Hill reports “House Democrats hit GOP over town hall protests in Twitter ad campaign”:
House Democrats’ campaign arm is launching Twitter ads that will target House Republicans in nearly two dozen districts over the backlash they’re facing at town halls over ObamaCare.

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee’s (DCCC) ads, which were provided first to The Hill, will be running in 23 GOP-held districts ahead of the 2018 midterm elections. The digital ads will feature an image of a packed crowd at a town hall with an empty chair on the stage.
“Will Hurd voted to repeal the ACA with no plan to replace it,” one of the ads reads. “How he won’t hold a town hall with constituents.”
Protesters have been flooding town halls in lawmakers’ home states, particularly over the looming battle over ObamaCare and pushing back on repeal of former President Obama’s signature healthcare law.

Trump’s pointing out that there is a hidden hand behind the protests is backed up by a recent McClatchy story “Dems launch ads aimed at driving protesters to Republican events” that reports that a pro-Hillary super PAC “Priorities USA” is pouring money into an advertising blitzkrieg designed to fire up the rabble to invade town halls. One of the big check writers to that particular super PAC during the race for the White House was none other than George Soros himself.

So Trump is absolutely correct on this one and needs to use the bully pulpit to get out the truth about the uprising before it’s too late.
Adding to the problem is the absence of pro-Trump demonstrations. Conservatives may have important things to do – like working – but there has to be some effort to match the so-called “resistance” movement. Just because the election is over doesn’t mean anything, the battle for the soul of America has only begun
