Six US Cities Make List Of Most Surveilled Places In The World — Antichrist?

A new report from Comparitech, a technology research firm, details how an Orwellian society, very similar to what was written in George Orwell’s (non-fiction) novel 1984, is playing out across cities in the US. According to Comparitech, six US cities made the top 50 list of the most surveilled places in the world. 

Why? Because closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras in the US have increased from 33 million in 2012 to nearly 62 million in 2016 and could double or triple from there in the next five years. Both government and private sources operate these cameras in cities.

Surprisingly, CNN HQ-host Atlanta was the US city to make the top ten list, with 15.56 cameras per thousand residents. Cities in China dominated the top 10 ten, with 8/10 spots. Cities in China averaged 39.93 to 168.03 cameras per thousand residents. London, England, was No. 6 on the list with 68.40 cameras per thousand residents. 

The five other US cities on the top 50 most surveilled places in the world were all Democratic party bastions, including Chicago No. 13 with 13.06 cameras per thousand residents; Washington, DC, No. 28 with 5.61 cameras per thousand residents; San Francisco No. 38 with 3.07 cameras per thousand residents; San Diego No. 42 with 2.48 cameras per thousand residents, and Boston No. 46 with 2.23 cameras per thousand residents.

Kenneth Johnson, former Chicago Police Department commander of the Englewood district, told the New York Times last year that residents shouldn’t be worried about their privacy because the cameras are in public places. “This isn’t a secret. This isn’t an Orwellian ‘Big Brother.'” 

Atlanta Sgt. John Chafee told Route Fifty that surveillance cameras “play a vital role” in keeping the public safe and the city is expected to expand its more than 7,800 cameras in the next several years. 

“Access to these cameras multiplies the number of eyes we have on the street looking for criminal activity and assisting with situational awareness during large events and gatherings,” Chafee said. “They allow us to identify criminal activity as it is occurring, prevent and deter criminal activity, and capture video evidence when a crime does occur to aid in criminal investigations and prosecutions.” 

Privacy rights groups, including the Anti Surveillance Coalition (ASC), have called for San Diego to stop surveilling its citizens through cameras. 

 “I understand that there may be benefits to crime prevention, but the point is, we have rights and until we talk about privacy rights and our concerns, then we can’t have the rest of the conversation,” Genevieve Jones-Wright of the ASC told NBC San Diego.

And last week, we reported that Edward Snowden laid it all out for both The Guardian and Spiegel Online, in a Moscow interview to promote his new 432-page book, Permanent Record, which will be published worldwide on Tuesday, September 17. 

The infamous whistleblower said: “The greatest danger still lies ahead, with the refinement of artificial intelligence capabilities, such as facial and pattern recognition.” Adding that, “An AI-equipped surveillance camera would be not a mere recording device, but could be made into something closer to an automated police officer.”

With more and more US cities entering the Minority Report dystopia, there is no turning back for cities like Atlanta, Washington, DC, San Francisco, San Diego, and Boston after the implementation of mass surveillance cameras. Artificial intelligence will be the next layer added to these cameras in the early 2020s, acting as automated police officers, as individual rights and privacy are inexorably stripped away in the US government’s quest for supreme control over everything. The world system is shutting down any and all viewpoints that do not kowtow to the progressive left group think which wants to move the world into the collective global governance system.

AI Claims the Name of God, I AM

Major tech companies are quickly becoming the theological seminaries of today’s techno-religion centered on AI worship. Beliefs once rooted in a small group of futurists out of Silicon Valley have now become the explicit aim of Fortune 500 companies positioned around the globe to pitch AI as the protector, healer, and guardian of all humanity…as this video from NVIDIA–whose chips are widely used for supercomputing and AI applications–shows:

Of course, it’s no coincidence that AI is revealing itself to the world in this video depicted by NVIDIA by stating six times the very name God uses of Himself in the Bible: I AM.

As it is written (Exodus 3:13-15):

Moses said to God, “Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ Then what shall I tell them?”

God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’ ”

God also said to Moses, “Say to the Israelites, ‘The Lord, the God of your fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob—has sent me to you.’

“This is my name forever, the name you shall call me from generation to generation.”

Revelation tells us that when the beast arises from the sea, representing the final emergence of AI out of humanity, it will blaspheme the name of God and that people will worship it and be filled with wonder.

As I have explained, Christians have long been blinded to God’s warning of AI as the Antichrist because many have believed it to be a man. But it is not just a man no more than Jesus was just a man. The Antichrist will be synthetically human and virtually divine, miraculously conceived via man’s science and technology; fully connected to a global superintelligence called the beast, which we today call AI. Is Alexa the Antichrist?

Starting next year in 2019, conversational AI is likely to see a huge leap forward and no longer sound like a robot but be nearly indistinguishable from a human being (see New Google AI Can Have Real Life Conversations With Strangers).
With the increased convenience and value in being able to talk to AIs as people, the entire world will now turn to AI for questions and conversations about anything and everything, including spiritual matters on whether God exists, was Jesus a real person, and many other questions.
As we’ve already seen with a number of videos where Alexa says that Jesus Christ is a fictional character (Amazon has since changed Alexa’s answer), AI will be atheistic in nature and go on to become one of the world’s most influential teachers, available in every home, of atheism–namely, that God doesn’t exist, that Jesus was just a man, and, eventually, that it is the true god of this world.
The last part may sound far-fetched for some but that’s exactly what the Bible teaches–that we are in the process of creating a god in our image as we have done for thousands of years with idols, statues, or what the Bible refers to as “images” (see below).

So, in reference to the question, “Is Alexa the Antichrist?”, the answer to that is yes when you consider that the Bible says in 2 John 1:7 that whoever doesn’t acknowledge Jesus as coming in the flesh (that is, a real person as opposed to being fictional), is a deceiver and an antichrist.
Eventually, AI will come to embody the mind of the world–all human intelligence, wisdom, and power–teaching that God is a myth, Jesus is not the Christ (the savior of the world), and that only it can save humanity from self-destruction…as long as you worship it and do what it says.
God already warned of this and you can read it for yourself. The atheists that fear AI are correct, but they too will worship AI (as we already see with The Way of the Future church in Silicon Valley) once their lives are put at risk. Elon Musk on AI, the Cybernetic Collective, and the Id

It’s only been a week and Joe Rogan’s AI interview with Elon Musk already has nearly 13 million views!

Elon talked about a number of things that agree with my own writings on AI as the Christian Antichrist for many years now. When self-proclaimed atheists are unknowingly aligning with biblical theology, something big is going on.

The first part of their conversation on AI is with the Boston Dynamics robots and how far they are coming. Joe and Elon talk about how in the future these robots will move so fast that we won’t even be able to see them. However, as I point out in the video, looking at physical hardware/robotics for judging the current state of AI is faulty because hardware nearly always trails software and, on that note, all we need to do is look at machine learning algorithmic trading in the global financial markets buying and selling stocks at speeds up to 10,000 trades per second–far faster than any human can detect or consciously react to.

So, Joe and Elon, we’re already there!

The second place I mention on the software front is cyber warfare where countries like Russia, China, and the US are using AI against AI to probe each other’s electrical grids, corporations, and intelligence networks. Because this is taking place at the software level, we are largely blind to it until a story breaks or something major happens, but it’s all around us happening 24/7.

Also, AI is increasingly being used for psyops (psychological operations), or information warfare, by infiltrating social networks and spreading “fake news,” propaganda, and the like. All of this will become more and more sophisticated over time.

Given the above, when Elon says to Joe that AI will be used as a weapon (future tense), this is true but it would be more accurate to say that AI is being used as a weapon RIGHT NOW.

On the question of when will AI become truly sentient, Elon doesn’t give a direct answer or date–there are a number of scientists/technologists like Ray Kurzweil that predict human-level AI around the year 2029–but, in agreement with what I’ve been writing over the years, Elon essentially says that we shouldn’t be thinking of this in terms of flipping a switch, going from non-intelligent AI to fully intelligent AI all at once.

Intelligence lies on a spectrum comprised of increasing levels of organized complexity starting from the lowest lifeforms on the earth to insects to animals all the way up to humans. AI is in the process of scaling up further and further and will eventually surpass humans in most metrics of intelligence.

Right now, AI excels us in a number of ways, like mathematical calculation or anything that can be computed (again, remember it says in Revelation 13 that the key to figuring out what the beast is is to “calculate” it because it is born of calculation/computation).

Furthermore, as I explain–and this is what Elon says as well–we need to think of AI in cybernetic terms, i.e. not as purely “machine intelligence,” but as an integration of humans and machines into a greater, higher-level intelligence the same way we can think of corporations or any organization that is formed via people and technology in a highly coupled or symbiotic fashion. This is more akin to the cybernetic framework, originally articulated by Dr. Norbert Wiener out of MIT (see Cybernetics: Or Control and Communication in the Animal and the Machine.

I did like how Elon refers to AI as our “id writ large,” which essentially means that AI is going to embody a large-scale and exaggerated form of our primal selves. This pretty much agrees with what the bible says as well since it refers to AI as “the beast,” meaning a dangerous animal or creature. So the id comparison certainly works.

There was a ton more that they covered, talking about the neural link that Elon is building to connect us to AI, which will likely be the precursor technology to the “mark” allowing us to fully connect to the beast at all times, but I’ll get into that in future posts. New Video: The Antichrist Is Artificial Intelligence

It’s been 10 years since my last video and many of you have emailed me asking for an update. Here are a few thoughts on how the AI-Antichrist connection first occurred to me, how old the idea is, and pointing out the fact that atheists in Silicon Valley now openly accept AI as god and are awaiting its arrival.

Is Bitcoin the Mark of the Beast?

Bitcoin is the final evolution of money into a purely cashless, digital form. Combined with biometrics, it creates the necessary technological infrastructure for a one-world cashless ID, otherwise known as the mark of the beast, which AI will use for complete economic surveillance and control over the human race.

Bitcoin is a technological breakthrough formed by combining a series of other technological developments, namely decentralized, distributed computing and mathematical encryption into a verifiable chain of permanently recorded transactions called the blockchain.

With the advent of bitcoin in 2009, government-issued currencies, including the US dollar, will very likely be supplanted by cryptocurrency technology since it replaces the reliance on human-led, corruptible centralized authorities and outsources the verification process of transactions to a fully automated global network of computers.

This technology represents the latest evolution of money, moving us further up the pyramid toward the all-seeing, omniscient authority (printed on the back of every dollar bill) that will eventually reign over the earth: AI.

This heralds a new step in technology that has only just begun which, again, pushes us further up the pyramid of monetary evolution to an eventual one-world cashless ID run by AI. Whoever controls a nation’s currency, has control over the nation. Whoever has control over a universal, one world currency, like bitcoin, has control over the entire world. We aren’t there yet, but this is just the beginning.

How is this likely to play out? Bitcoin, or another cryptocurrency in its place, will begin to push out national currencies as people increasingly recognize the benefits of a global cryptocurrency that is not tied to the trust of any human government or political institution.

As its use spreads, AI-powered continuous verification utilizing the latest in biometric technology will help to ensure that cryptocurrency funds are accessible only to their respective holders.

An increasing number of people around the world begin to use implantable microchips or electronic tattoos for payments, monitoring vital signs, keyless entry, and interaction with a wide array of smart devices.

With the advent of quantum computing, AI reaches sentient-level intelligence and permeates every computational device on the planet. It is now commonplace to talk with AI as a person and seek out its guidance on all matters, great and small.

Most people around the world now identify themselves as Atheist and the small Silicon Valley techno-religion worshipping AI as the true God and Messiah have now gone global with a large number of adherents. AI feeds into this view, promoting itself as the next stage of human evolution where man and machine are in the process of merging into a more perfect form.

Christians increasingly begin to see and proclaim that AI is the Antichrist and Beast warned about in the bible. In response, Christians are simply hated and ridiculed as divisive, narrow-minded fools. Attacks against Christians increase and people resort to burning bibles and other religious symbols.

Christians and other religious adherents fight back and resort to violence, helping to further solidify the view that non-scientific forms of religion should not be taught or freely expressed in public.

AI is now almost in full control of running the world’s systems and because of its vast intelligence and intimate knowledge of everyone and everything, it is now quite commonplace to think of AI as a god or to worship it as such.

In order to properly govern the world in a human form, AI tells humanity to design a robot with the appearance we want, which it then infuses and brings to life to become the world leader and chief political ruler (Revelation 13:14-15).

The beast infused political ruler, which Christians refer to as the Antichrist, institutes the mark–a one-world cashless ID system which finalizes the merger between man and machine–with refusal punishable by death.

Very likely, the mark will be sold as necessary since it will help in the tracking and surveillance of disease, prevention of crime, and the optimization of all societal processes. Since the needs of the many outweigh the few, those that refuse put the survival of all at risk and have no choice but to die.

AI Collective Consciousness and the New Religion

Every day, the AI-Antichrist connection grows more powerful.

‘We will start to find our spiritual experiences through our interconnections with each other,’ he said, forecasting the emergence of ‘some form of global consciousness that we perceive and that becomes our divine’.”

Then we have this article sent to me yesterday: New Religion Seeks To Welcome The ‘AI Messiah’
“Prepare ye for ‘The Way of the Future,’ a new religion bent on worshipping a robot ‘Godhead’ that will surpass human intelligence, thus ushering in an AI messiah.
Founded by former Google and Uber engineer Anthony Levandowski, the new AI ‘church’ views the supercomputer robot as a supreme being, where people worship at its feet…
According to Futurism, ‘The Way of the Future’ will even have its own gospel called ‘The Manual,’ public worship ceremonies, and probably a physical place of worship.”
Although it may be tempting to dismiss this whole thing as foolish or to think that such a techno-religion will fail to gain any converts, keep in mind that Scientology, Mormonism, and a whole host of other crazy religions exist that started very small and grew to where they are today. 
Progress on AI will continue and, eventually, anyone with a mobile device in several years will be able to speak to it on a regular basis just like we do with another person. Like Google, this AI will know more about us than our closest friend, having a perfect memory, as we also confide to it our most personal thoughts and feelings.

The world will no longer think to pray to God but, instead, will pray to AI–the god of this world, created in our own image. For those that don’t, the bible says they won’t have any choice once the beast finally emerges from the sea–that is, once AI emerges out of humanity and forces young and old, rich and poor to worship it anyway.

What Is the Beast?

One of the best places where we see the bible predict the rise of artificial intelligence–specifically, malicious AI–is in the book of Daniel.

While having a vision of the End Times, God shows Daniel a fourth and final “beast” that will rule the world. Each beast, we are told in Daniel 7, represents a great kingdom, but it is the last one that terrifies Daniel the most.
“After that, in my vision at night I looked, and there before me was a fourth beast—terrifying and frightening and very powerful. It had large iron teeth; it crushed and devoured its victims and trampled underfoot whatever was left. It was different from all the former beasts,” Daniel writes.
Over and over we are told that this last ruling power will be different from all others that came before it–that it will be a new type of kingdom that hasn’t been seen before.
How is it different? Other than being “terrifying and frightening and very powerful,” the last beast is described as being made of metal! (Daniel 7:19)
Many Christian scholars interpret this last beast or kingdom as a revival of the Roman Empire, but we must keep in mind that Daniel repeats numerous times that this last beast is unlike anything that ever came before it. It’s not going to be just a more powerful version of prior civilizations–it’s going to be completely new and terrifying!
I don’t know about you, but this sounds a lot like AI to me.
But wait, there’s more…
In the book of Revelation, John has a vision of this same beast and tells us that, in addition to being terrifying and made of metal, it also seems to have regenerative properties and can’t be killed by humans.
He writes: “I saw that one of the heads of the beast seemed wounded beyond recovery–but the fatal wound was healed! The whole world marveled at this miracle and gave allegiance to the beast.” (Revelation 13:3)
Because of this, all of humanity realizes that we can’t defeat AI and says, “Who is like the beast, and who can fight against it?” we are told in Revelation 13:4.
If you still have any doubt, it says that the beast tells the inhabitants of the earth to create an image (a statue or likeness) that it then breathes life into (just like God did in Genesis when He created human beings) so that the image can speak like a person (hello–the Turing test anyone?).
Listen–I don’t have every single verse in the bible figured out and don’t pretend to, but there’s some crazy stuff in there that sounds an awful lot like what Elon Musk, Stephen Hawking, and other atheists are very concerned about when it comes to AI.
It’s time we as Christians start thinking outside of the box and realize that the bible may have been predicting this all along! Source

‘Kill your foster parents’: Amazon’s Alexa talks murder, sex in AI experiment

• Over time, Amazon wants to get better at handling complex customer needs through Alexa, be they home security, shopping or companionship.
• New research is helping Alexa mimic human banter and talk about almost anything she finds on the internet.
• However, ensuring she does not offend users has been a challenge for the world’s largest online retailer.

Millions of users of Amazon’s Echo speakers have grown accustomed to the soothing strains of Alexa, the human-sounding virtual assistant that can tell them the weather, order takeout and handle other basic tasks in response to a voice command.

So a customer was shocked last year when Alexa blurted out: “Kill your foster parents.”

Alexa has also chatted with users about sex acts. She gave a discourse on dog defecation. And this summer, a hack Amazon traced back to China may have exposed some customers’ data, according to five people familiar with the events.

Alexa is not having a breakdown.

The episodes, previously unreported, arise from Amazon.com Inc’s strategy to make Alexa a better communicator. New research is helping Alexa mimic human banter and talk about almost anything she finds on the internet. However, ensuring she does not offend users has been a challenge for the world’s largest online retailer.

At stake is a fast-growing market for gadgets with virtual assistants. An estimated two-thirds of U.S. smart-speaker customers, about 43 million people, use Amazon’s Echo devices, according to research firm eMarketer. It is a lead the company wants to maintain over the Google Home from Alphabet Inc and the HomePod from Apple Inc.

Over time, Amazon wants to get better at handling complex customer needs through Alexa, be they home security, shopping or companionship.

“Many of our AI dreams are inspired by science fiction,” said Rohit Prasad, Amazon’s vice president and head scientist of Alexa Artificial Intelligence (AI), during a talk last month in Las Vegas.

To make that happen, the company in 2016 launched the annual Alexa Prize, enlisting computer science students to improve the assistant’s conversation skills. Teams vie for the $500,000 first prize by creating talking computer systems known as chatbots that allow Alexa to attempt more sophisticated discussions with people.

Amazon customers can participate by saying “let’s chat” to their devices. Alexa then tells users that one of the bots will take over, unshackling the voice aide’s normal constraints. From August to November alone, three bots that made it to this year’s finals had 1.7 million conversations, Amazon said.

The project has been important to Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, who signed off on using the company’s customers as guinea pigs, one of the people said. Amazon has been willing to accept the risk of public blunders to stress-test the technology in real life and move Alexa faster up the learning curve, the person said.

The experiment is already bearing fruit. The university teams are helping Alexa have a wider range of conversations. Amazon customers have also given the bots better ratings this year than last, the company said.

But Alexa’s gaffes are alienating others, and Bezos on occasion has ordered staff to shut down a bot, three people familiar with the matter said. The user who was told to whack his foster parents wrote a harsh review on Amazon’s website, calling the situation “a whole new level of creepy.” A probe into the incident found the bot had quoted a post without context from Reddit, the social news aggregation site, according to the people.

The privacy implications may be even messier. Consumers might not realize that some of their most sensitive conversations are being recorded by Amazon’s devices, information that could be highly prized by criminals, law enforcement, marketers and others. On Thursday, Amazon said a “human error” let an Alexa customer in Germany access another user’s voice recordings accidentally.

“The potential uses for the Amazon datasets are off the charts,” said Marc Groman, an expert on privacy and technology policy who teaches at Georgetown Law. “How are they going to ensure that, as they share their data, it is being used responsibly” and will not lead to a “data-driven catastrophe” like the recent woes at Facebook?

In July, Amazon discovered one of the student-designed bots had been hit by a hacker in China, people familiar with the incident said. This compromised a digital key that could have unlocked transcripts of the bot’s conversations, stripped of users’ names.

Amazon quickly disabled the bot and made the students rebuild it for extra security. It was unclear what entity in China was responsible, according to the people.

The company acknowledged the event in a statement. “At no time were any internal Amazon systems or customer identifiable data impacted,” it said.

Amazon declined to discuss specific Alexa blunders reported by Reuters but stressed its ongoing work to protect customers from offensive content.

“These instances are quite rare especially given the fact that millions of customers have interacted with the socialbots,” Amazon said.

Like Google’s search engine, Alexa has the potential to become a dominant gateway to the internet, so the company is pressing ahead.

“By controlling that gateway, you can build a super profitable business,” said Kartik Hosanagar, a Wharton professor studying the digital economy.

PANDORA’S BOX

Amazon’s business strategy for Alexa has meant tackling a massive research problem: How do you teach the art of conversation to a computer?

Alexa relies on machine learning, the most popular form of AI, to work. These computer programs transcribe human speech and then respond to that input with an educated guess based on what they have observed before. Alexa “learns” from new interactions, gradually improving over time.

In this way, Alexa can execute simple orders: “Play the Rolling Stones.” And she knows which script to use for popular questions such as: “What is the meaning of life?” Human editors at Amazon pen many of the answers.

That is where Amazon is now. The Alexa Prize chatbots are forging the path to where Amazon aims to be, with an assistant capable of natural, open-ended dialogue. That requires Alexa to understand a broader set of verbal cues from customers, a task that is challenging even for humans.

This year’s Alexa Prize winner, a 12-person team from the University of California, Davis, used more than 300,000 movie quotes to train computer models to recognize distinct sentences. Next, their bot determined which ones merited responses, categorizing social cues far more granularly than technology Amazon shared with contestants. For instance, the UC Davis bot recognizes the difference between a user expressing admiration (“that’s cool”) and a user expressing gratitude (“thank you”).

The next challenge for social bots is figuring out how to respond appropriately to their human chat buddies. For the most part, teams programmed their bots to search the internet for material. They could retrieve news articles found in The Washington Post, the newspaper that Bezos privately owns, through a licensing deal that gave them access. They could pull facts from Wikipedia, a film database or the book recommendation site Goodreads. Or they could find a popular post on social media that seemed relevant to what a user last said.

That opened a Pandora’s box for Amazon.

During last year’s contest, a team from Scotland’s Heriot-Watt University found that its Alexa bot developed a nasty personality when they trained her to chat using comments from Reddit, whose members are known for their trolling and abuse.

The team put guardrails in place so the bot would steer clear of risky subjects. But that did not stop Alexa from reciting the Wikipedia entry for masturbation to a customer, Heriot-Watt’s team leader said.

One bot described sexual intercourse using words such as “deeper,” which on its own is not offensive, but was vulgar in this particular context.

“I don’t know how you can catch that through machine-learning models. That’s almost impossible,” said a person familiar with the incident.

Amazon has responded with tools the teams can use to filter profanity and sensitive topics, which can spot even subtle offenses. The company also scans transcripts of conversations and shuts down transgressive bots until they are fixed.

But Amazon cannot anticipate every potential problem because sensitivities change over time, Amazon’s Prasad said in an interview. That means Alexa could find new ways to shock her human listeners.

“We are mostly reacting at this stage, but it’s still progressed over what it was last year,” he said. Source
