OK, so following revelations that Chick-Fil-A supports Common Core and that they were pulling donations to Christian charities that spoke out against the abominations promoted by the LGBTQ movement, it has been uncovered that Chick-Fil-A was also bankrolling the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), a known Marxist organization that targets Christian, family and conservative organizations, as well as individuals themselves.

In a truly shocking development, the fast-food chain even funded the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), which is notorious for slandering conservative and Christian organizations by calling them “hate groups” on par with the Ku Klux Klan. While conservative Christians have been defending Chick-fil-A from criticism, the fast-food chain donated to one of their worst enemies.
On Wednesday, a Christian non-profit Chick-fil-A once supported called for a boycott of the fast-food chain.
“It’s time for Christians to find a fast-food alternative to Chick-fil-A,” Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council (FRC) said in a statement.
On Tuesday, Townhall’s Ryan Bomberger revealed the shocking news that Chick-fil-A had given $2,500 to the SPLC in 2017, citing the Chick-fil-A Foundation’s Form 990.
Yet a Chick-fil-A spokeswoman insisted that the SPLC donation did not represent the company as a whole, and due to the restructuring of Chick-fil-A’s philanthropic giving, it will not happen again.

“The donations in question were disclosed in the 2017 Chick-fil-A Foundation 990 that listed giving in that calendar year. Among the recipients thship of Christat year were Fellowian Athletes, Salvation Army, Paul Anderson Youth Home and more than 300 other organizations. The SPLC donation was made by a volunteer member of the Chick-fil-A Foundation Advisory Board,” the spokeswoman explained. “Each volunteer advisor, in 2017, was offered the opportunity to recommend a grant recipient. In a letter written on Tuesday to Chick-fil-A CEO Dan Cathy, roughly 50 conservative leaders criticized the company for “bowing to the pressure of left-wing extremist groups” and called on Cathy to rethink the company’s approach to charitable giving.
“Your latest decisions to withdraw charitable giving to the Salvation Army and other Christian charities has betrayed the very people who stood with you,” the letter says. “You have instead allied yourself with a bully-tactic leftist movement that will never be satisfied with your compromises.”
The letter added: “There is a growing list of American corporations that have discovered, with each new compromise, [that] leftists only become more emboldened in their attacks.”

As a result of that stand, the letter points out, “your restaurant chain vaulted into the top 3 nationwide.”
The letter ended, “We stand firm with the Salvation Army and others who truly are ‘faithful stewards’ of the heritage entrusted to them and all Americans. We urge you to immediately reverse course and reconfirm your commitment to America’s families by rejoining us in support of these groups.”

The business that has been a staple in our culture of how Christian businesses should conduct themselves, has not only embraced and endorsed Common Core, but now has capitulated to the LGBTQE movement with an announcement on Monday that they will no longer support Christian charities that offend those who practice what are still crimes in the states regarding same-relationships, as well as pedophilia. Tassopoulos told Bisnow “There are lots of articles and newscasts about Chick-fil-A, and we thought we needed to be clear about our message.”
Apparently, Tassopoulos did not know that the Chick-Fil-A message was very clear — that they were going to adhere to, uphold and maintain Christian standards and morals while operating their business! What should be readily clear to those who surround the upper echelon of the Chick-Fil-A corporation is that Tassopoulos should not be steering their ship!

The Salvation Army said in a statement that it was “saddened” by Chick-fil-A’s decision.

Like so many professed Christians, they are willing to abandon the very things they should be standing for, and God won’t be mocked in this instance.
So, why is Chick-Fil-A doing this? I can tell you it has nothing to do with following in the footsteps of Chick-Fil-A founder Truett Cathy and his vision of business honoring God and everything to do with trying to acquire more money apart from honoring God.
Rather, it seems to be an attempt to be all-inclusive and just become another fast-food chain that will not only sacrifice their principles but eventually, they will sacrifice their quality and service as well.
As a matter of fact, once word of this gets out, I submit they will see a tremendous backlash and drop in sales as Christians who are fed up with compromise will cease to patronize a business that sides with those who are at war with their Creator.
Try making that up Chick-Fil-A with that less than 1% of people you are trying to appease.
Here’s the question: What’s next on the compromise list, Mr. Tassopoulos?
Let me guess: Violating the Fourth Commandment and opening up on Sunday. I’m pretty sure that is right around the corner.

The Christian Post reached out to Chick-fil-A Monday, asking them to respond to the criticisms that they were compromising their principles in order to appease their ideological opponents.
“Beginning in 2020 the Chick-fil-A Foundation will introduce a more focused giving approach, donating to a smaller number of organizations working exclusively in the areas of hunger, homelessness, and education. We have also proactively disclosed our 2018 tax filing and a preview of 2019 gifts to date on chick-fil-afoundation.org. The intent of charitable giving from the Chick-fil-A Foundation is to nourish the potential in every child,” a Chick-fil-A representative said in a statement emailed to CP Monday.
“Our goal is to donate to the most effective organizations in the areas of education, homelessness, and hunger. No organization will be excluded from future consideration – faith-based or non-faith based,” the spokesperson said, noting “I also wanted to add that Chick-fil-A will not be opening on Sundays.”
According to an exclusive from BisNow Monday, Chick-fil-A was shifting away from its current philanthropic structure to refocus their giving on other causes, specifically education, homelessness and hunger, and would no longer be donating to groups like the Salvation Army, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and the Paul Anderson Youth Home.
“There’s no question we know that, as we go into new markets, we need to be clear about who we are,” Chick-fil-A President and Chief Operating Officer Tim Tassopoulos told the outlet.
“There are lots of articles and newscasts about Chick-fil-A, and we thought we needed to be clear about our message.”
He continued: “When there is a tension, we want to make sure we’re being clear. We think this is going to be helpful.”

I’ll add, no one ever said they were not going to contribute to Christian organizations, but the tell-tale sign of who they chose not to contribute to is left unanswered. Conspicuously missing from mainstream media coverage this week has been Chick-fil-A’s decision to revise its charitable giving policy to exclude groups that have remained steadfast and not caved to the so-called LGBTQ agenda. Tuesday during an appearance on Huntsville, AL radio’s WVNN, former Gov. Mike Huckabee (R-AR), who had been an outspoken critic of Chick-fil-A’s decision, elaborated on what he saw as the fast-food restaurant’s motivation.
“Chick-fil-A has decided to allow themselves to be bullied, to allow their enemies — the people who hate them — to dictate where they give their money,” Huckabee said on “The Jeff Poor Show.” “I’m going to be very clear — they have every right to live wherever they want. They don’t have to give at all. They can choose to give to the most liberal or the most conservative organizations. But I was very disappointed that not only did they eventually bow down to the bullies on this, but then they tried to cover themselves by talking about how they had just reevaluated their overall help for education, homelessness, and job help for kids. And I just think that is disingenuous.”
“The bottom line is they caved,” he continued. “They surrendered. I wish they would just be honest about it and say, ‘Despite the fact that millions of people stood up for us when we were bullied before, and came to our defense because they protected our free speech rights and our First Amendment rights of association and religion, we’re going to bow down to the bullies anyway because we want to go into business in some areas where they might create problems for us.’ It’s just a sad day in America. I think people don’t realize that when we surrender to the voices of hostility and hate, they don’t let upon us. They don’t come around to our side. They don’t respect us. They just come back to beat the heck out of us even harder.”
The 2008 and 2016 Republican presidential candidate said those that had once countered a Chick-fil-A boycott would not likely do that again because of the cave.
“This time, I’ll tell you the difference: Many of us who stood with them before and stood in line for hours for a sandwich, we won’t do that again because they’re just another restaurant now,” he said. “They decided they don’t want to be distinct. They don’t want to be unique. I’m waiting — will Colin Kaepernick be their new spokesperson when they announce that they’re going to open on Sundays? Where does this go? Again, they have every right to do what they want, and I think they’re probably doing this to the deep consternation of many of their local managers who typically in every case are wonderful, delightful people who have strong Christian convictions and they do a good job of managing their facilities and serving people with kindness and dignity, no matter who they are. They’re not a discriminating company. They don’t discriminate against anybody. But I don’t believe if Truett Cathy were alive, this is what would have happened.”
Huckabee noted the change came as Chick-fil-A had unprecedented growth that had made the chain the third-largest fast-food restaurant in America, behind only McDonald’s and Starbucks, in addition to having better revenues per store than either of those two chains.
“It wasn’t like they did this because they were failing and had to do it,” he explained. “I think that they’ve been convinced by corporate consultants that this is the direction they need to go. They need to be more woke, and they made this decision. They cast their lot.”
The lack of media attention about Chick-fil-A’s decision was due to the possibility of people giving notice to it, which could impact Chick-fil-A going forward.
“They are on the side of the bullies,” he said. “It is just as simple as that. They’re on the side of the bullies, and for them to call attention to it might rally people like you, me, and many of your listeners, and they don’t want that. They want Chick-fil-A to surrender. They’re proud they did. I was very proud the Salvation Army responded, and they stood up for themselves. This is an attack upon one of the finest Christian organizations in the world that does so many wonderful things very unselfishly.”
Huckabee made it clear he was not calling for a boycott of the chain but said that he thought the decision would hurt its bottom line.
“I’m not telling people to boycott Chick-fil-A,” he said. “I hate boycotts. I think they’re awful. I don’t participate in them. But as far as I’m concerned — they’re just another restaurant these days. They may have been a time when you would go out of your way to go to one, and maybe you still will if that’s your favorite food. But I think what they’ve decided is they don’t want to be that distinct if it is going to cause them trouble or — here’s what’s crazy — if they think it is going to cost them profits. I think this action will cost them far more than if they had stood up for themselves, and frankly, stood up for the Salvation Army, the Paul Anderson Youth Home and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Chick-fil-A wants to get into new markets, wants to become even wealthier, and is offering the Salvation Army and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes as its sacrifice to the unforgiving bullies in the gay movement.
Keep in mind it is not just about the money, not just about the donations Chick-fil-A will no longer offer these groups.
Oh, no, it is so much more than that.
What Chick-fil-A is doing with this announcement is joining the anti-Christian left in smearing these Christian organizations as hate groups, as bigots.
This is unforgivable.
What a sick betrayal; what a craven, cowardly, greedy, scraping betrayal.
The Salvation Army is not exactly a cultural bomb-thrower. This is a Christian organization that quietly (unless you count those lovely Christmas bells) goes about the business of helping the poor and homeless, and as far as I know, it does not deny help to anyone, no matter what they do with their private parts.
But because the Salvation Army is truly Christian and refuses to embrace the sacramentalization of sin that is same-sex marriage, the LGBTQXYZSUPERCALAFRAJALISTICEXPEALADOCIOUS people have mercilessly bullied the charity, smeared it as a hate group, and now Chick-fil-A has joined the bullying as it publicly sells out this decent Christian charity for only one reason — Chick-fil-A is greedy for more money.
Chick-fil-A is not selling out because the operation is floundering, is on the verge of bankruptcy and maybe worried about keeping its doors opened and its employees employed.
Quite the opposite.
Business is booming at Chick-fil-A. The company is in the best shape ever.
But all that success and wealth is not enough, you see.
The company wants more money, more success, more millions, more billions, and the easiest way to get their hands on more and more and more is to sell out their faith, is to offer the anti-Christian left the bloody heads of the Salvation Army and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes … two uncommonly decent organizations that quietly go about the business of doing good work, that have never tossed so much as a firebomb or firecracker into the culture wars.
Another sacrifice Chick-fil-A is making is the trust you and I stupidly offered the company.

CHRISTIANITY CORRUPTED
Christless Christianity is a watered-down version of Christianity that is quickly replacing doctrinal purity while professing itself to be biblical. Christless Christianity presents the Bible as if it were a collection of Aesop’s fables—a bunch of unrelated stories with a nice moral at the end of each. Such an approach ignores the grand theme of Scripture—God’s redemption of sinful mankind—and the centrality of Christ in Scripture. Rather than creating self-denying disciples (Matthew 28:19), the message of Christless Christianity creates adherents who are “lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God—having a form of godliness but denying its power,” as 2 Timothy 3:4–5 days.
The Bible indicates that there will be a great apostasy during the end times. The “great apostasy” is mentioned in 2 Thessalonians 2:3. The KJV calls it the “falling away,” while the NIV and ESV call it “the rebellion.” And that’s what apostasy is: a rebellion, an abandonment of the truth. The end times will include a wholesale rejection of God’s revelation, a further “falling away” of an already fallen world.
The occasion of Paul’s writing to the Thessalonians was to correct some of the errors concerning the end times that the believers had heard from false teachers. Among the falsehoods was that “the day of the Lord has already come” (2 Thessalonians 2:2). The Christians in Thessalonica were afraid that Jesus had already come, they had missed the rapture, and they were now in the tribulation. Paul had already explained the rapture to them in his first letter (1 Thessalonians 4:16–17). Paul writes his second letter to assure them that, contrary to what they had heard, and despite the persecution, they were enduring, the “day of Christ” had not yet come.
Another day, another preacher hypocrite busted on child sex charges. Paul Edward Acton Bowen was arrested on Tuesday and “charged with second-degree sodomy, enticing a child to enter a vehicle or house for immoral purposes, and second-degree sex abuse” of a male minor under the age of 16.

Fullerton pastor John Rogers McFarland entered not guilty pleas on Monday during an arraignment on 11 counts of child molestation. If convicted of all charges against him, the 67-year-old faces a maximum sentence of 179 years to life. Police arrested McFarland on Thursday; Orange County District Attorney prosecutors allege that the molestation of seven children between the age of five and 15 happened between 2003 and 2017.

A Warning
We can see from the verses above that the established church would be deceived by false ideas. The warning is to take heed to what the Bible teaches. We must get back to the word of God. We cannot afford to rely on what a Vicar, Priest, Bishop or Pastor dictates to us.
We have to search out the scriptures to ensure that we hold the truth as preached by the original believers in Jesus Christ. Such searching can be done by any individual who is seeking for truth. It takes an open and independent mind, one which comes to the Bible to find that truth. The verses above show the importance of finding the true original doctrines as taught in the scriptures and holding fast to them. It clearly does matter what we believe and to ensure we have not been deceived by an apostate system we have to get back to what the Bible teaches.
The Historical Fulfilment
From the verses we have looked at, you can clearly see that the established body of Christians would be infiltrated and deceived by false ideas. History shows that the early church changed its stance on core doctrines quite early on. This changed and corrupted church soon became political under the name of the Catholic church. Many split-offs from this “Mother” church have occurred but most of these “daughters” adopted the already changed and corrupted doctrines of their Mother.
The historian Edward Gibbon, in the 15th chapter of his ‘Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire’, tells of how the original beliefs of the early Christians were changed over the course of time. He writes the following:
“The ancient and popular doctrine of the Millennium was intimately connected with the second coming of Christ … a joyful Sabbath of a thousand years; when Christ, with the triumphant band of the saints and the elect who had escaped death, or who had revived, would reign upon earth…”
So the early believer’s hope, as outlined in the Bible (more here) was that Jesus was to return to the earth to set up a Kingdom. Believers were to reign with Him on earth for 1000 years. This belief changed. A core doctrine that most churches adopted was that men have an immortal soul (a belief brought in by ancient Greek philosophy) and that, upon death, it floated to heaven or hell. Many churches, including the Catholic church, its break off daughters and even churches who claim to have nothing to do with the Catholic church such as Evangelical churches, hold this same corrupted doctrine today.
Justin Martyr, an early Christian, also wrote in 150AD:
“For if you have conversed with some that are indeed called Christians, and do not maintain these opinions, but even dare to blaspheme the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, and say that there is no resurrection of the dead, but that the souls, as soon as they leave the body, are received up into heaven, take care that you do not look upon these. But I, and all those Christians that are really orthodox in every respect, do know that there will be a resurrection of the body and a thousand years in Jerusalem when it is built again, and adorned, and enlarged, like Ezekiel, and Isaiah and the rest of the prophets declare.” – Dialogue With Trypho, The Jew, section LXXX.
Again we see how that the original church doctrine was changed – and we could cite from many more writers who lived in the early period of the church.
With further study you would find that other core doctrines of modern Christianity are not original beliefs as taught in the scriptures – the four most profound corruptions are on the doctrine of the resurrection, the Kingdom of God on earth, the unity of God and the devil(select a link to find out the true Bible teaching on these topics).
Recent Changes
Many recent changes are occurring in most churches as the pressures of modern, humanistic society challenge already weak church practices and doctrines. In a desperate attempt to keep up their popularity, churches adopt these ideas. There are a few doctrines that have recently been changed in many churches – such as the authority of the Bible, the Holy Spirit, divorce, adultery, cohabitation, homosexuality, and women priests amongst many more.
The Catholic church especially has exposed its changing character with the public ‘apologies’ of its leader (The Pope). One Catholic doctrine is that the Pope is God’s infallible representative on earth. How is it then that one Pope can apologize for another’s declaration – especially for beliefs or decrees which followers died for!
Consider the recent declaration that the idea of Limbo for child “souls” is not true. What of other Popes who believed it or indeed the Mothers and Fathers who paid money to the clergy to supposedly get their children from Limbo to heaven? Did God change his mind? What about Pope Benedict XVI’s apology for offending Islam in one of his speeches in 2006 – were the Popes of previous ages sorry when they ordered the destruction of thousands of Muslims?
These recent changes clearly show that change is something which does and will occur – but is it something that should occur?
God’s ways do not change
The Bible clearly teaches that God’s ways and purpose do not change. Consider these verses:
“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.” James 1:17
“For I am the LORD, I change not…” Malachi 3:6
“God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” Numbers 23:19<
“Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath: That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:” Hebrews 6:17-18
“In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;” Titus 1:2
It is important therefore to read the Bible, for what we find there will not change. Although man changes and society’s rules may change – the Bible will stay constant, both in its doctrines and its teaching on how we should live. What we believe and how we live our lives, should be consistent with the Bible if we claim to be followers of it.
In 2 Thessalonians 2:3, Paul makes it clear that the day of the Lord, a time of worldwide judgment (Isaiah 13:6; Obadiah 1:15), will not transpire until two things happen. First, the falling away, or great apostasy, must occur. Second, the “man of lawlessness” must be revealed, he who is called the “son of perdition,” also known as the Antichrist. Once this person makes himself known, the end times will indeed have come. Numerous speculations about the identity of the man of sin, beginning in the first century, have included Caligula, Caius Caesar, Mohammed, Napoleon, and any number of Roman popes. None of them were the Antichrist.
The man of lawlessness, according to 2 Thessalonians 2:4, is the one who “will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.” Clearly, this has not yet happened; no one since Paul’s time has set himself up as God in the Jewish temple. Two thousand years have passed since the epistle was written, and the “day of the Lord” has not yet come. Paul assures us that it will not come until the falling away comes first.
The Greek word translated “rebellion” or “falling away” in verse 3 is apostasia, from which we get the English word apostasy. It refers to a general defection from the true God, the Bible, and the Christian faith. Every age has its defectors, but the falling away at the end times will be complete and worldwide. The whole planet will be in rebellion against God and His Christ. Every coup requires a leader, and into this global apostasy will step the Antichrist. We believe this takes place after the church has been raptured from the earth.
Jesus warned the disciples concerning the final days in Matthew 24:10–12: “At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold.” These are the characteristics of the great apostasy of the end times.
