Watchman Warning: Christians, Get Ready for Persecution, Its Coming “Soon” Even in the Face of Christian Persecution, We Press on…

HNewsWire: Advisory: Be careful of what you read on social media. The algorithms used by these platforms have no regard for Biblical truth. Consider God’s promise to Believers in James 1:5, “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” There is no doubt that persecution is a stark reality of living the Christian life. Christian persecution is to be expected: the apostle Paul warned that “everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted” (2 Timothy 3:12). Jesus said that, if they persecuted Him, they will also persecute His followers (John 15:20). Jesus…

Watchman: Christian Persecution and the Sin Virus Are Out of Control Rich Penkoski Was Slapped With a Five-Year Restraining Order That Prevents Him From Protesting Online or in Person the Activities of an LGBTQ+E for Evil Organization in Oklahoma–Tribulation In Play

HNewsWire: Attorney John W. Whitehead is sounding the alarm about a case he says could have sweeping implications for religious freedom. A constitutional lawyer is raising concerns about a case that he claims could have significant implications for religious liberty. John W. Whitehead, president of The Rutherford Institute, a nonprofit civil liberties organization, said his client, Rich Penkoski, was issued a five-year restraining order that prohibits him from protesting online or in person the activities of an LGBT organization in Oklahoma. As per the report by CBN News, the incident occurred when the pastor shared his moral and religious views online, stating his opinions about a church that allegedly endorsed same-sex marriage and a drag queen show in front of children. Penkoski purportedly shared a church’s public image of a same-sex wedding ceremony on Facebook, where one of the women involved is……...

I Chose to Obey God Rather Than Man, Christian Teacher Imprisoned After Refusing to Call Male Student ‘They’ — Christian Persecution

By StevieRay Hansen | September 14, 2023 |

HNewsWire: God says something interesting when He tells the prophet Jeremiah to tell His people off. God says in Jeremiah 6:15 that even though His people should have been ashamed of what they did and how they lived, “They didn’t even know what blushing was.” Now, too many people in our culture have forgotten what it was like to blush at certain things, but I can remember when God gave me back the ability to blush early on in my walk with Him. Let’s take a quick look at God’s complaint, and maybe try to learn from Him how to blush again. Strangely enough, the reason a country can no longer blush starts in its churches. It starts when men of God start to care more about money and things than they do about the truth and being close to God…

Our Three Enemies Are Self, Society, and Satan Despite what Christian Pacifists Would Have us Believe, God is Not a Pacifist

By StevieRay Hansen | July 27, 2023 |

HNewsWire: The Bible is filled with examples of God taking bloody vengeance on His enemies (Isaiah 63:3-6; 65:12; Deuteronomy 20:16-18). And those examples are not limited to the Old Testament. It is impossible to read the book of Revelation without seeing the Lamb of God in His role as the Lion of Judah (Revelation 5:5; 19:11-15). The imagery is clear that Jesus will overcome His enemies with war (Revelation 19:19-21). This is the same Jesus who is quoted by pacifists to support their cause. That day is great so that none is like it.” The only time period that fits this description is the period of the Tribulation. This time is unparalleled in history.

Jesus described the Tribulation using some of the same imagery as Jeremiah. In Matthew 24:6-8, He stated that the appearance of false Christs, wars, and rumors of wars, famines, and earthquakes are "the beginning of birth pains."

These “birth pains” are described in detail in Revelation 6-12 Part of the purpose of the Tribulation is to bring Israel back to the Lord.

Torben Søndergaard and his family fled Denmark for America this year like refugees fleeing a war zone, leaving with only what they could carry in eight suitcases.

Torben is the founder of The Last Reformation, a worldwide movement that seeks to return Christianity to the Book of Acts. He also began the Jesus Center in Denmark, which trained disciples from 30 nations to spread this message around the world.

A Series of Attacks Against Him

Attacks against his ministry in Denmark began in 2016 when the Jesus Center was investigated by six different Danish government agencies for everything from food safety to unpaid taxes. Officials found nothing wrong.

Then last year, the government began to investigate their family when they began homeschooling. Then they put their daughter back into public school, but that didn't stop the investigations.

But the worst was yet to come. Torben Søndergaard's life and ministry would take a dramatic turn when Danish TV approached him and said it wanted to profile his ministry. It sounded like it could be very positive. It wasn't.

Danish TV Investigates Him

Danish TV not only sent a film crew. Torben says they also sent two undercover reporters, one who said that he wanted to follow Jesus and was even baptized, and another who pretended to be mentally ill.

The resulting documentary on national TV, called "God's Best Children," lumped Torben in with other so-called "radical Christian" ministries that had had serious moral or ethical failures or even criminal activity.

Torben said, "When I saw that I was like, 'I'm finished. No one will ever trust me again.'"

Portrayed as a Liar, Abuser, and a 'Quack'

Torben watched in horror as he saw himself depicted on national TV as a liar, as an abuser of children and the mentally unstable through healings and so-called "exorcisms," and as a quack who takes medicine away from the sick, something he says he has never done.

"I've been doing my ministry for 18 years. I never had a problem, I never had complaints," Torben said. "Of course, there were misunderstandings. Maybe people got hurt and so on, like every other church and every other ministry.  But when these programs started it just changed the whole atmosphere in Denmark. We were like, 'We need to leave Denmark. This is not going to stop.'" Source

Message:

Hi. And thank you for your work. I\'ll make this short.

I know you value integrity and truth, so I\'ll just make
a brief comment on an article you wrote about a new law in Denmark.

In short, Torben Sondergaard claims a law has been
proposed and passed (and because of him). There is no such law.

There is a law - that was initiated before Torben Sondergaard got media exposure - about defending vulnerable people from harm from family members and close relatives. Torben Sondergaard is not the cause of this law, as he claims. And the law was passed - with no reference to religion or exorcism or anything similar whatsoever in it - after Torben Sondergaard had arrived at in the USA. In other words, the passed law was not the reason he fled.

The facts are that Torben Sondergaard has made several
million euros in the past few years and he didn’t have to pay much taxes in
Denmark, and he received financial support from the government as well. He
conveniently became “persecuted” when someone started asking how he used the
money and how he treated people.

So, there is no law against Christianity and nobody else
in Denmark has made a claim of persecution like Torben Sondergaard has. Because
there is no persecution. Torben Sondergaard is simply a guy who always causes
problems for himself, others and makes new enemies - especially among those
close to him - so he has “restarted” his ministry multiple times.

Just a portion of truth for the day.

All the best.

...........................................................

The majority of Americans are Christians, but we're not treated with respect by the culture, the schools, or by our politicians. "Vengeance" may be the Lord's to dish out, but that doesn't mean Christians have to support the people who are attacking us or meekly stand by when other followers of Christ are denigrated and oppressed for their faith. The habitual wimpiness of so many Christians is particularly grating because when Christians shine a spotlight on these attacks and say, "That's enough," more often than not we win. So, if Christians across the country were consistently willing to speak out and take action, you'd be surprised at how quickly our culture would begin to change. If that happens, instead of seeing this many incidents every year (All of these happened in 2013), they'd be a once in a blue moon occurrence.

1) Florida Ministry Told To Choose Between Jesus And Helping The Poor:"For the past 31 years, the Christian ministry has been providing food to the hungry in Lake City, Fla. without any problems. But all that changed when they said a state government worker showed up to negotiate a new contract. ...(A) state agriculture department official told them they would not be allowed to receive USDA food unless they removed portraits of Christ, the Ten Commandments, a banner that read 'Jesus is Lord' and stopping giving Bibles to the needy." When the government tells the Christian Service Center it has to give up on Christ or quit using USDA food to help the poor, that’s religious discrimination.

2) Billy Graham Evangelistic Association: Obama’s IRS Was “Targeting and Attempting to Intimidate Us:” It's well known that the IRS targeted Obama's political enemies in the Tea Party, but the IRS also targeted his Christian enemies in the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.

Franklin Graham, the president of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and the family’s international humanitarian organization Samaritan’s Purse, said that the IRS notified the organizations in September that it was conducting a “review” of their activities for tax year 2010.

...“While these audits not only wasted taxpayer money, they wasted money contributed by donors for ministry purposes as we had to spend precious resources servicing the IRS agents in our offices,” Graham wrote in the letter, which was shared with POLITICO. “I believe that someone in the administration was targeting and attempting to intimidate us. This is morally wrong and unethical – indeed some would call it ‘un-American.’”

Graham said that “in light” of the IRS admission that it targeted tea party groups for added scrutiny, “I do not believe that the IRS audit of our two organizations last year is a coincidence – or justifiable.”

The IRS would certainly deny targeting Graham's group because it's a Christian organization, but of course, the IRS would deny that it targeted the Tea Party groups for political reasons as well.

3) California Christians Found “Not Guilty” of Reading Bible Near Government Offices:"A court has said that a pair of Christians were ‘allowed’ to read the Bible aloud outside the Department of Motor Vehicles in Hemet, California. Wasn’t it kind of the government courts in California to say that these Christians were allowed to have their rights to free religious expression? ...Back in 2011 Mark Mackey and Bret Coronado were arrested and charged with misdemeanor offenses for reading the Bible outside the DMV location. ... But on August 13, Superior Court Judge Timothy Freer found the men ‘not guilty’ of any offenses. ...Interestingly, the judge also pointed out that the law prosecutors tried to invoke was likely unconstitutional as it gave law enforcement overbroad powers to quash public gatherings in the first place. Sadly, this case did not go toward settling the constitutionality of the law, but it was a victory of sorts to have the judge even mention the fact."

Yes, there were actually Americans arrested for reading the Bible on public property. What do you think the chances are that two Muslims reading the Quran would have been arrested under the same circumstances?

4) Colorado Baker Faces Year In Jail For Refusing To Make Cake For Gay Wedding: You can support gay marriage or you can be Christian, but you can't do both. You can pretend to do both, but you're giving up your Christian beliefs to be more palatable to people who are hostile to Christianity. The folks at Masterpiece Cakeshop simply declined to make a cake for a gay wedding because it conflicted with their Christian beliefs. They learned that's now illegal.

According to attorney Nicolle Martin, the owners of a Colorado bakery could face a year in prison for refusing to make a cake for a gay wedding, Jim Hoft reported at the Gateway Pundit Monday.

“The complainants can sue him civilly in the regular court's system or he can potentially be prosecuted by the district attorney for up to twelve months in jail,” Martin told Hoft.

In June, the Advocate said the Colorado Attorney General’s office filed a discrimination complaint against the owners of Masterpiece Cakeshop in Denver after the bakers refused to bake a cake for Dave Mullins and Charlie Craig, a Denver area gay couple, last year.

But Jack Phillips, one of the owners, declined to make the cake citing his Christian beliefs.

“We would close down the bakery before we compromised our beliefs,” he told KCNC, adding that protests and petitions will not make him change his mind.

We have Americans being threatened with jail time for doing nothing more than refusing to affirmatively sanction an event that goes against Christianity. In other words, liberals aren’t just trying to make gay marriage legal; they're trying to make opposition to gay marriage illegal.

5) Airforce Veteran Faces A Court Martial For Opposing Gay Marriage: Under Barack Obama, the military has become aggressively anti-Christian and pro-gay to such an extent that the troops are no longer even allowed to privately oppose gay marriage.

Senior Master Sgt. Phillip Monk found himself at odds with his Lackland Air Force Base commander after he objected to her plans to severely punish an instructor who had expressed religious objections to homosexuality. During the conversation, his commander ordered him to share his personal views on homosexuality.

“I was relieved of my position because I don’t agree with my commander’s position on gay marriage,” he told me. “We’ve been told that if you publicly say that homosexuality is wrong, you are in violation of Air Force policy.”

...Last week, Monk was supposed to meet with an Air Force investigator tasked with gathering facts about the complaint. But when he arrived, Monk was immediately read his Miranda Rights and accused of providing false statements in a conversation Monk had with (Fox's Todd Starnes).

After he was relieved of his duties, the Liberty Institute filed a religious discrimination complaint on his behalf.

...“I immediately got the sense that this was retaliation against me for coming forward with my religious discrimination complaint,” he said.

The accusations against Monk are a court-martial offense in the Air Force – and it’s quite possible that the 19-year veteran with a spotless record could be booted out of the military because of his Christian beliefs.

And he’s not the only Christian at Lackland Air Force Base facing persecution for opposing gay marriage, according to Monk’s pastor.

If you think the military has problems recruiting soldiers now, let the military keep persecuting Christians for their faith and see how well it does over the long haul. Of course, that wouldn't upset the Left one bit, but the rest of us should be concerned.

6) Government Forces Churches To Get Permits For Baptisms: Nevertheless, the Park Service recently began a new policy requiring churches that wished to hold baptisms in public waters to apply for a special permit at least 48 hours in advance of the baptism. The Park Service justified this recent demand by saying that the permits were necessary to “maintain park natural/cultural resources and quality visitor experiences, specific terms and conditions have been established.”

…On August 21, Rep. Jason Smith (Missouri, R) heeded the complaints of his constituents and wrote a letter to the NPS asking what the heck was going on…

…Between citizen outrage and Rep. Smith’s threat to bring the matter before the full Congress, however, the Park Service quickly reversed its new policy, writing to the Congressman that, “As of today, the park’s policy has been clarified to state that no permit will be required for baptisms within the Riverways. I can assure you the National Park Service has no intention of limiting the number of baptisms performed within the park.”

When the government demands that a church get a permit to do baptisms, it’s also tacitly saying it has the right to deny that permit. That's not acceptable.

7) Florida Professor Demands Student Stomp On Jesus:It all started with a conflict between an antagonistic professor and one brave student at Florida Atlantic University. Ryan Rotela was told by his professor to write Jesus Christ’s name on a piece of paper and stomp on it. Rotela defiantly refused and in retaliation, formal disciplinary action was started against him.

But, before the system could roll over Rotela, a funny thing happened. The word about what was happening to him got out, Christians became outraged, and suddenly the university’s tune quickly changed. “FAU’s Senior Vice President for Student Affairs, Dr. Charles Brown, has since issued a groveling formal apology.” Next thing you know, the disciplinary action was waved off.

Now, comes word that the professor, Deandre Poole, has been put on administrative leave following a withering public response, that included complaints from the Governor of Florida, Rick Scott.

Unfortunately, that story didn't have a happy ending. Even after the governor got involved, Deandre Poole still kept his job. However, had Christians not risen up, the student who refused to stomp on Jesus would have been the one punished while the professor would have paid no price at all. Moreover, you can be sure there won't be any more Jesus stomping going on in the classrooms at Florida Atlantic University any time soon.

If there's a lesson here, it's that when Christians refuse to back down, we usually win. What that means is if enough Christians stand up for our faith, you'll be surprised how fast the people in power lose their nerve about going after us. Source

Google has a frightening amount of control over the internet, and although one of their past mottos was “Don’t be evil,” they seem to have a different set of rules when it comes to dealing with Christians and conservatives.

The firm recently informed the CEO of Concordia Publishing House, Bruce Kintz, that they were banning ads related to their cph.org domain, which sells religious books, music, and other items related to their conservative Lutheran denomination.

He was told that the problem was related to the fact that items featured in the ad and on their website refer to the Bible and/or Jesus and that such references would need to be removed before they could be considered for reinclusion.

Kintz posted on Facebook: “[A CPH associate] was told, as an example, that things like our bible challenge on our [Vacation Bible School] webpage would clearly need to come down before they could consider us for ads.”

Interestingly, the ad type in question is remarketing ads, which are shown to people who once visited a website but didn’t buy anything later on in hopes of attracting them back. In other words, the people who saw these ads in the first place would have already visited their site and presumably don’t find the idea of Jesus or the Bible offensive.

A steadfast Kintz said his firm refuses to compromise their beliefs to meet Google’s demands. On the contrary, he feels it’s now even more important than ever to spread the word as society’s hostility toward Christians grows.

This is all pretty typical behavior for Google, who regularly abuses its power in this and many other ways. They might not be able to remove websites they don’t agree with from the internet entirely, but they can certainly ensure these sites are buried so far down the search results that few people ever see them.

Google also likes to wield its power to bury conservative sites, and this bias is also seen in its corporate culture. The firm is currently facing a class-action lawsuit filed by former employees for discrimination based on political views and the fact that they were white males. One engineer said he was fired after he wrote a memo expressing concerns about the firm “alienating conservatives” at its head office. The suit also indicates that managers at the firm created blacklists of employees known to have conservative beliefs so they could avoid working with them on projects and pass them over for promotions.

Earlier this year, they were accused of censoring conservative media sites like Breitbart and WND by giving them “fake news” warnings. Last year, Google blacklisted Natural News from its search results for six days without justification; it was only restored after very vocal backlash.

Christianity under attack in California

In California, where Google’s headquarters are situated, lawmakers are considering a new bill that could essentially criminalize the Bible. The amendment would outlaw goods like religious texts that deal with topics related to gender and sexual orientation. Presumably, if certain sections were not edited out of the Bible, it would become illegal to sell it there. It will be interesting to see if something like this can pass because it looks like a clear violation of the constitutional freedom of religion.

Kintz is right: Christianity is indeed under attack, and the great irony is that those who accuse Christians of being intolerant are not practicing what they preach. See Antichrist.news for more stories about attacks on Christianity.

https://hnewswire.com/are-you-prepared-for-martial-law/

A piece of legislation known as the Equality Act is expected to be introduced soon by House Democrats. The bill’s provisions add the categories of “sexual orientation” and “gender identity” to the list of protected classes in the 1964 Civil Rights Act.

As I wrote in 2015, when the Equality Act was first introduced, the bill represents the most invasive threat to religious liberty ever proposed in America. Given that it touches areas of education, public accommodation, employment, and federal funding were it to pass, its sweeping effects on religious liberty, free speech, and freedom of conscience would be both historic and also chilling.

The bill represents the most invasive threat to religious liberty ever proposed in America.

Its passage would sound the death knell for hopes of détente in the culture wars that pit conservative Christians against their LGBT neighbors. For progressives, it would be winner-take-all. Virtually no area of American life would emerge unscathed from the Equality Act’s reach. No less significant would be the long-term effects of how the law would shape the moral imagination of future generations.

Supporting the Sexual Revolution

To be clear, Christians reject all forms of invidious discrimination. We believe all persons, including those who identify as LGBT, are made in God’s image and deserve respect, kindness, and neighborliness. But this truth does not necessitate Christian capitulation to the sexual revolution. No Christian who believes that the Bible’s depiction of created reality is both sacred and also authoritative can accept the Equality Act’s underlying tenets. By codifying the ideas that (1) sexuality has no core ethical limits other than consent and that (2) male and female definitions are psychologically based, rather than biologically based, the Equality Act must be interpreted as an assault on Christian institutions and especially on parental rights—since public education will be transformed to follow the law’s provisions. It will further lead to the corrosion of our public discourse, the type of discourse that breeds zero-sum outcomes. One only has to look to Tim Gill (who infamously remarked that he intends to “punish the wicked”—those who fail to endorse LGBT politics) or Harvard law professor Mark Tushnet (who compared those who fail to endorse LGBT policies to Nazis) to see how fraught this conversation has become.

For progressives, the Equality Act is the rallying cry that would forever cement the legitimacy of sexual-revolution ethics into federal law.

For progressives, the Equality Act is the rallying cry that would forever cement the legitimacy of sexual-revolution ethics into federal law. The Equality Act will not only accelerate the number of conflicts pitting Christians against their conscience, it will also shift the Overton Window to accelerate the pace of anti-Christian bias in society. Of course, Christians expect persecution and anti-Christian bias. Our Lord Jesus predicted as much. But our Lord’s words need not mean we hasten persecution.

https://hnewswire.com/newsguard-browser-plug-in-gives-green-light-ratings-silencing-of-the-lambs-christian-censorship/

The tragedy of the moment is that many progressives, sensing the cultural winds at their backs, have signaled no interest in playing nice with those who disagree with them when it comes to matters of sexuality and gender. Consider the scathing opinion editorial by actress Cynthia Nixon, who took to the pages of The Washington Post to call Vice President Mike Pence “insidious” because he holds to a culturally conservative worldview on matters of sexuality and gender. According to Nixon, not only do Christians hold views she personally disagrees with; she also can’t understand how a group of people could hold to views she considers so innately toxic and immoral.

Culturally Disfavored ≠ Morally Repugnant

But at the level of public policy, why is support for the Equality Act completely unacceptable? Here’s why: It’s not viewpoint neutral. It communicates that Christian beliefs about what it means to be male and female, and how marriage ought to be defined, are incompatible with what U.S. law considers to be decent, reasonable, goodwill convictions. The Equality Act fails to make meaningful status/conduct distinctions. It treats the Christian baker who objects to using her creative talent to design a same-sex wedding cake the same as an individual who would stupidly, and bigotedly, deny an LGBT person a booth at a restaurant. In short, the Equality Act equates Christian ethics with hatred and bigotry. Moreover, if the new bill is the same bill as previously introduced, it has a specific—and stunningly audacious—provision that guts the Religious Freedom Restoration Act from being appealed to in situations where the Equality Act applies. It specifically defenestrates and subjugates constitutional and statutory precedent beneath the ever-evolving norms of “gender identity” and “sexual orientation.”

The Equality Act equates Christian ethics with hatred and bigotry.

Christians need to do a much better job of explaining the rationale and merits of their beliefs around gender and sexuality. We do not believe these are sectarian truths applicable only to Christians. Rather, we believe how God patterned creation in Genesis is the blueprint for human flourishing. If we don’t contend for the legitimacy and rationality of our views, they’ll end up being sidelined as intolerant and harmful—to the detriment of all.

Some beliefs and viewpoints within society—for example, racism—are morally repugnant. Even so, our constitutional framework allows such attitudes to exist on the margins of society where they belong, and when deemed necessary, impeded upon for the sake of equal treatment under the law. There are also viewpoints, held in goodwill, by millions of Americans that are culturally disfavored, especially views concerning the definition of male and female and the definition of marriage. But what is culturally disfavored is not necessarily synonymous with what is morally repugnant. Opinions or viewpoints that don’t enjoy cultural support can be held with sincere goodwill. It’s important that legislation that aims to protect all sides understand this point. Any piece of federal legislation that fails to differentiate culturally disfavored views from morally repugnant views, or implies that culturally disfavored views are necessarily morally repugnant, is legislation that evangelicals cannot support. The Equality Act not only fails to do so, but it also contributes to the decline of understanding and civic pluralism.

What is culturally disfavored is not necessarily synonymous with what is morally repugnant.

The concerns expressed here say nothing of the absurdities of the bill itself. As one panelist at the Heritage Foundation suggested, the Equality Act should be called the “Female Erasure Act,” since in codifying the transgender worldview into law, it defines womanhood (and manhood) as little more than psychological fantasy.

Opposing the Equality Act

The Equality Act must be opposed. Any Christian legislator or conservative legislator who understands the vital urgency of religious liberty must oppose it. Or else, with the stroke of a pen, pillars of human history—the ideas that marriage is a complementary union of a man and a woman, and that male and female are immutable, biological realities—would be thrown into the dustbin of history. If progressives get their wish, the Equality Act would usher in “the Right Side of History” to which they constantly appeal.

The timing of the Equality Acts release comes at a providential time. Just last week, Christian baker Jack Phillips—of the infamous “Masterpiece Cakes” legal case—had complaints of discrimination against him dismissed in Colorado. The reason? Colorado’s Civil Rights Commission was deemed as treating Phillips’s religious convictions with contempt. Just as one hopes that the government would learn a lesson in refusing to punish individuals like Phillips, who hold their faith with charity and goodwill toward all, the Equality Act is coming along to cement the same type of anti-Christian bias into American law.

Let Me Make This Abundantly Clear. (I Am Apolitical) While I Have a General Distaste for Politicians No Matter the Party They Belong To, I Am Unashamedly Politically a Bible Believing Conservative Christian. I Have a Severe Distrust of Government. I Believe It Is the Most Inefficient and Ineffective Way to Accomplish Most Things. While I Strongly Disagree with Liberals/Progressives and Conservative on Most Political Issues, and While I Believe Liberals/Progressives and Most Politicians Are Terribly Misguided and Naive About What Big Government Will Eventually Result In, I Strive to Not Question Their Motives. at the Same Time, While I Find Myself in Agreement with Conservative Politicians on Some Issues, I Do Not Believe Electing Republicans Is the Answer to Everything. for Me, Very Sadly, the Main Difference Between Republicans and Democrats Is How Quickly They Want to Drive the Car Towards the Cliff. Satan has power over (LGBTQE-TRANS PEOPLE). The “sons of disobedience” referred to in Ephesians 2:2 are those who have not trusted Christ as Lord and Savior (cf. Acts 26:18; 2 Corinthians 4:4; Revelation 13:12). The demons are also under the rule of Satan (Matthew 12:24), and one of his titles is “prince of demons” (Matthew 9:34). Satan has a kingdom (Matthew 12:26) and a throne (Revelation 2:13). Satan is called a prince because he is a ruler and possesses the power to manifest evil in the world through influencing people and commanding demons.

HNewsWire- “All political language is designed to make lies sound truthful and murder respectable.” Just look at some of our modern-day examples: torture is “enhanced interrogation techniques”; murder is “collateral damage”; the aggression initiation of war is a “pre-emptive strike”; the theft of taxpayers’ money is a “bailout”, and the theft of depositors’ money in a bank is a “haircut” or “bail-in”.In a blatant example of Newspeak, the New World Order controllers (through the psychiatric DSM V) have tried to rename pedophiles as “minor-attracted persons” and redefine pedophilia as “sexual orientation”. This makes no sense since sexual orientation has to do with gender, not age, with whether you are attracted to males or females, not how old they are. There are even organizations (like B4UAct.org) which are claiming that pedophiles are being unfairly stigmatized for their feelings!

God says He has not appointed us unto wrath. I’m not sure why anyone would want to stay around for Gods wrath in the Tribulation.
If somehow you think that the Great Tribulation is going to purify you somehow, then I have to ask, are you saying that The Blood of Jesus Christ is not enough? Are you so much worse than previous generations of Christians that it takes 7 years of the most gruesome wrath of God that the world has ever known in order to purify you? Is your will and your sin really so stubborn that that is what it will take to clean you up?
Maybe it is. I don’t know. But I can tell you this much. Paul wrote about a pre-Tribulation rapture in Thessalonians long before Darby or any of the rest of these guys came along.

I imagine it this way. People eating at restaurants, playing at home, out shopping, sunbathing at the beach and then all of sudden in my mind, we are ATTACKED suddenly and ferociously.

I see surprise and confusion then I hear nothing but screams them see them all dead. I see dead bodies all over. I think about Noah’s daze and we are being punished for our sins. For rejecting God.

We lost everything. Nothing is fine anymore. All is lost. I see all our cities in ruins and in smoke and fire. I hear it is like this all across the land. I walk in the ruins and see disheveled people. Most have lost their minds.

At night it’s even worse. The daylight only reveals the horror the night hides. I head for the hills after hearing there is a huge armada of Chinese ships heading this way.

We are being punished because of our sins. God has taken away everything from us and gave it to your enemies. They are now coming for your souls to FINISH you off. This is the start of the TRIBULATION.

God is in charge of the dispensations of time, not Satan. And no, God is not going to be pouring out His wrath on earth during the Millennial reign of Christ after the Great Tribulation. “The Day Of The Lord” starts the Great Tribulation and Satan will be turned loose on earth only when God says it is time. There is not one place in scripture referred to as The day of Satan. The unbelievers will be slaughtered during the Tribulation by 7 seal judgements, 7 trumpet judgements and 7 bowl judgements. It is not Satan that is pouring out those judgements according to scripture. It is in fact the angel of The Lord.

Robert Van Kampen develop his own false doctrine about the Rapture?
Robert Van Kampen became one of the wealthiest men in America after founding an investment firm in 1974. Van Kampen died, aged 60, in October 2000, awaiting a heart transplant. In the 1970s, Van Kampen developed what is known today as the “”Pre-wrath” Rapture position. Van Kampen was also known to have possessed the largest collection of rare and antique Bibles in North America. According to one who spent time with Van Kampen at his Chicago area home when he was developing his view, he first eliminated pretribulationism and then excluded posttribulationism. Thus, he had to come up with another view. That view is what he called the “pre-wrath” Rapture theory. That title is a misnomer, since pretribulationism is 100% pre-wrath. If we follow consistency in labeling, Van Kampen’s view should be called the three-quarters Rapture position, since he teaches that the church will be raptured somewhere in the middle of the last three and a half years of the seventieth week of Daniel.

If Van Kampen had not been a wealthy individual then very few, if any, of us would have ever heard of his view. Van Kampen spent a number of years searching for an advocate of his newly developed viewpoint until he was finally able to persuade Marvin Rosenthal to adopt his new theory. I have a friend who was interviewed extensively by Van Kampen (in the 80s) for the pastorate of the church he attended in the Chicago area. My friend spent hours on the phone with Van Kampen, as he tried to convince him of his strange Rapture view.

In the end, my friend could not agree with Van Kampen, so he did not have the opportunity to become the pastor of that church. It was clear that Van Kampen was searching for someone to champion his Rapture position. Van Kampen finally convinced Marvin Rosenthal of his view. Rosenthal wrote a book called The Pre-Wrath Rapture of the Church, which was published by Thomas Nelson in 1990. Van Kampen apparently subsidized the publishing of the book by buying thousands of copies and sending them to ministers all over North America. This is how the new position was spread. Later Van Kampen came out with his own book called, The Sign (three editions, 1992, 1999, 2000) from Crossway Books. He then had published The Rapture Question Answered: Plain and Simple (1997) with Revell.

What is the Three-Quarters Rapture Theory?

Van Kampen’s three-quarters Rapture view is a bazaar blend of Mid-Tribulational and Post-Tribulational rationale. Instead of seeing the 24 terms describing the seventieth week of Daniel as denoting various characteristics of a single period, Van Kampen chops them into compartmental segments that contain either the wrath of man and Satan or the wrath of God. Through redefinition, Van Kampen limits the wrath of God to the final year and three-quarters of the seven-year period and deduces that the Rapture occurs right before that time period.

Van Kampen distinguishes the Rapture and the Second Coming with a gap of one and three-quarters years between them, even though he makes a big deal that they are a single event. Van Kampen has the church continuing through the first three-quarters of the Tribulation until the three-quarters point rapture occurs. Thus, the three-quarters Rapture theory. Note the chart of Van Kampen’s three-quarters Rapture theory.

Van Kampen’s theory requires several unique features concerning the church and the Tribulation. First, he chops the seventieth week of Daniel into three parts: 1) the beginning of birth pangs (first three and a half years), 2) the Great Tribulation (first half of the second half of the seven years), 3) the Day of the Lord (last half of the second half of the seven years, plus a thirty day period after the second coming).

By arbitrarily compartmentalizing the seventieth week of Daniel in this way, Van Kampen prepares the way for his view by saying that the first two period (first three-quarters of the seven-year period) is the wrath of man and Satan but not God’s wrath. By speculating that God’s wrath only occurs during what he labels as “the day of the Lord” (the last quarter of the seventieth week of Daniel), therefore, he says the Rapture occurs at that point and keeps the church out of the wrath of God, as promised in the New Testament Epistles.

The Van Kampen innovation differs from the pretribulational view at key points. Pretribulationists agree with Van Kampen that the church will escape the time of God’s wrath. However, pretribulationism equates the time of God’s wrath and the Day of the Lord with the entire seven years of the 70th week of Daniel. Thus, I believe that Scripture supports the pre-Trib notion that the church will be raptured before the entire 70th week of Daniel.

Some Reasons Why Van Kampen’s Theory Is Wrong

The Van Kampen view of the Rapture is not only built upon faulty interpretation of the Bible, but also upon flawed data and logic. In 1990 Marvin Rosenthal released the first published expression of the Van Kampen Rapture view in all of history. I immediately purchased and read the book. While I detected many problems with the book, one item stuck out around page 100. Rosenthal made the following statement:

“The Greek word thlipsis, translated Tribulation or affliction in many English Bibles, occurs twenty times in the New Testament” (Rosenthal, Pre-Wrath, p. 103). Having done a word study of thlipsis just the week before in my normal study for teaching the Bible in my pastoral duties, it was fresh on my mind and I knew that my computer concordance showed that it actually occurs 45 times in 43 New Testament verses. Why had he not even considered over half of the New Testament references?

The point that Rosenthal was attempting to make when he committed such a glaring factual error was that the word “Tribulation” is never used to refer to the first half of Daniel’s 70th week (Rosenthal, Pre-Wrath, pp. 103-08). I don’t believe that to be the case since Matthew 24:9 is an instance where “Tribulation” (KJV = “afflicted”) refers to the first half of Daniel’s 70th week. Dr. John McLean explains:

Rosenthal has not only overstated his case but has stated as true fact that which is clearly false. A cursory reading of a Greek concordance reveals that the word “Tribulation” (thlipsis) is used in prophetic contexts to refer to both the first and second halves of the seventieth week of Daniel. Matthew 24:9, which chronologically relates to the first half of the seventieth week as evidenced by its preceding the midpoint of the abomination of desolation (Matt. 24:15-21) states:

“Then they will deliver you to tribulation (thlipsis), and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations on account of My name” (NASB). Clearly the biblical text describes the first half of the seventieth week as a time of tribulation. The second half of the seventieth week is also described as a time of tribulation. Second Thessalonians 1:6 uses the Greek word thlipsin while referring to the Second Coming of Christ which occurs during the second half of the seventieth week of Daniel:

“For after all it is only just for God to repay with affliction (thlipsin) those who afflicted you” (NASB). Therefore, it is proper and even biblical to refer to, and even describe, the seventieth week of Daniel as “The Tribulation,” or “A Time of Tribulation.” (John McLean, “Chronology and Sequential Structure of John’s Revelation” in Thomas Ice & Timothy Demy, eds., When the Trumpet Sounds (Harvest House Publishers, 1995), p. 341.)

Interestingly, Rosenthal restricts thlipsin “tribulation” to simply trials to be experienced (Rosenthal, Pre-Wrath, p. 237), while at the same time locating such tribulation in the first half of Daniel’s 70th week (Rosenthal, Pre-Wrath, p. 152). Like Dr. McLean and pretribulationists, Rosenthal equates Matthew 24:9 with the fifth seal judgment as stated in Revelation 6:9-11. This is exactly the understanding of pretribulationism.

Yet if Rosenthal admits the obvious logical conclusion “that the Tribulation in Matthew 24:9 is the tribulation” then it would provide another item that contradicts his new view and would support the only true pre-wrath position that actually does harmonize all Scriptural data “pretribulationism.” Instead, Rosenthal would rather foster an internal contradiction within his system that he apparently expects his followers to overlook.

As noted earlier, Van Kampen defines only the final quarter of Daniel’s seventieth week, as the Day of the Lord, which according to him is the only time of God’s wrath. He sees the first three quarters as the wrath of man and Satan. But does the Bible make such distinctions? I do not believe it does.

            Wrath in Zephaniah

Zephaniah 1:14-18 heaps together a cluster of terms that characterize the future Day of the Lord. Verse 14 labels this time as “the great day of the Lord” and “the day of the Lord.” Then verse 15-18 describe this time with the following descriptions: “that day is a day of wrath,” “a day of trouble and distress,” “a day of wasteness and desolation,” “a day of darkness and gloominess,” “a day of clouds and thick darkness,” “a day of the trumpet and alarm,” “I will bring distress upon men,” and “the day of the Lord’s wrath.”

The context supports the notion that all these descriptives, apply to the Day of the Lord. Such biblical usage does not allow an interpreter to chop the Day of the Lord into compartmental segments as Van Kampen insists. The text plainly says that the Day of the Lord is a time of both tribulation and God’s wrath. All of the many descriptives in this passage provide a characterization of the Day of the Lord that applies to the entire seven-year period. The Zephaniah passage clearly contradicts the basis upon which Van Kampen attempts to build his recently developed theory. Zephaniah is not alone in providing an obstacle to the Van Kampen speculation.

            Wrath in Revelation

Revelation 6:1-17 records the six seal judgments, which are the first reported judgments of the tribulation. Revelation 6 and the seal judgments also contradict the Van Kampen formulation since the Bible describes all six judgments as “…the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come…” (Rev. 6:16c-17a). Even though Van Kampen cannot recognize God’s wrath, the unbelievers at the beginning of the seven-year Tribulation will be able to.

What you’re trying to say is your false doctrine will not stand up under biblical light, God’s word is solvent, and no one should twist the truth that would include Robert Van Kampen, please seek discernment before you utter false statements….

Oh, are you talking about all the Muslims that are killing Christians around the world?

  10. David on September 15, 2019 at 8:05 pm

YOU ARE A FALSE TEACHER teaching the False Doctrine of ‘Pre-Trib’ Rapture which was INVENTED in 1836 by John Nelson Darby. The Scripture “For God has not destined us for wrath” is speaking about GOD’S WRATH, Not Satan’s. .. I doubt that you are a Berean, but on the off chance you are, you need to BUY TWO THINGS FROM EBAY 1. Booklet Titled: The Rapture Question Answered, by Robert Van Kampen. .. 2. DVD Called “After the Tribulation”

The False Doctrine of Pre-Trib Rapture was and is a Satanic Lie intended to deceive Christians and tickle their ears, preventing them from being Prepared for the Tribulation which we WILL HAVE TO ENDURE!

AFTER THE TRIBULATION. … If not, then you Rightfully Deserve what you are going to get on Judgement Day, Mr. Hansen for being a FALSE TEACHER and Misleading Christians!. .. Are you too lazy or too full of yourself to Examine the Evidence like a Berean??? .. Apparently so. .. Both the booklet and DVD can be purchased on Ebay.

        • StevieRay Hansen on September 15, 2019 at 9:14 pm

Christians should follow the Bible, not man, that’s been the problem down through history, will we look to man for guidance when in fact it should be God Almighty’s word only, then you will not find fault because there are none…….

I RESTORE ANCIENT HOLY BIBLES FROM 1250 A.D. – 1699. Many Churches and Pastors are realizing that “Pre-Trib” Rapture is Bunk!
          1. Who are the “Elect” in Matthew 24:22 that Christ Cuts the Tribulation short in order to save?
          2. Why would God have to Stop the Tribulation for the sake of the Elect, if the Elect had already been raptured???

REVELATION 24:29-31 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Well David, of course there will be elect on earth during the Tribulation. God has His own elect people in every generation and every dispensation. And many will be beheaded for their faith during the reign of the Antichrist. But that doesn’t stop God from carrying out His promise from Thessalonians to extract His own from the wrath to come from this dispensation called Grace. Many of the Jews themselves who are in rebellion right now will repent and travel the world preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Remember that it the Great Tribulation is called “The Time of Jacobs Trouble.” God has a plan for the Jews when the times of the Gentile believer are over and that dispensation has passed.

There is a great misunderstanding about “repentance.” Such verses as Mark 1:4 confuse many people because they do not take into account the rest of the Bible. Mark 1:4 reads, “John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.” By itself, this verse seems like It is teaching Baptismal Regeneration, but it certainly is NOT.
This verse is referenced in Acts 11:16, “Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost.” And a few verses later in Acts 11:21 we read, “And the hand of the Lord was with them: and a great number believed, and turned unto the Lord.” This is Biblical repentance… turning to the Lord. Please note that NO mention of baptism is found in Acts 11 other than the one reference to John the Baptist in verse 16.
Clearly, baptism was not required for their salvation in Acts 16, just is it has never been required. John preached the same Gospel of Jesus Christ as we preach today — salvation by grace through faith in Christ alone (Ephesians 2:8-9).

Some will go in the Pre Trib rapture, some will go in the Mid Trib rapture and some at the end of the 7 year Tribulation, others will be martyred for Christ. There is enough evidence on the net for all positions but only the ignorant refuse to see it but whatever is your destiny do it well and glorify God.

Bishop is on a crusade in South Africa to have “age of sexual consent laws” abolished, and he is looking for help from NAMBLA to accomplish his goal. He says children must be empowered “by teaching them about loving relationships at an early age, and giving them the opportunity to make an informed decision about having [sex].” He also approves of incest, noting, “Two women psychologists in America say the healthiest introduction to sex for a child should be with their [sic] parents, because it is less threatening and the emotional intimacy more comfortable.” (Angella Johnson, “The man who loves to love boys,” Electronic Mail & Guardian, June 30, 1997, http://www.mg.co.za/mg.)
Bishop agrees with NAMBLA that the next social movement in Western politics will be an attack m “sexual ageism,” which prohibits sexual contact based on age differences. The movement already is well under way in Europe and Canada.
