No Clear or Consistent Definition of “Victory” Has Been Offered by Trump, Despite His Repeated Claims That the Battle Is Being Won For The Zionist Heathens
The United States Central Command (CENTCOM), responsible for military operations in West Asia, seems to be flitting from one ineffectual strategy to another without any cohesive operational plan, and this is all because there are no clearly stated political goals. It is not a plan but a tactic to repeatedly bomb military-related targets across a country the size of Western Europe with over 90 million people, without any clear operational or strategic goal in mind.
The Trump administration has cornered itself into a strategy that has never worked before by relying so heavily on airpower. This is despite their knowledge that the American people will not tolerate another drawn-out ground war in the Middle East, especially if it is done to further Israel’s interests. Airpower alone has never been sufficient to topple a regime of Iran’s size, and there’s no indication that this war will be any different.
Trump has repeatedly claimed victory in the battle, but he has failed to offer a clear or consistent definition of the term. Would you say it’s the internal coup d’état in Iran? Is it the complete and utter handover of Iran’s military forces? Is it the proven fact that nuclear weapons were not destroyed after all? Feel free to choose. Military leaders are perplexed as to what they are expected to accomplish in the lack of a distinct and consistent political goal.
Also, Iran has no reason to trust the United States again or try to resolve this problem with us after our two surprise attacks on Iran last year during serious negotiations. We are seeing the unforeseen results of a war that was hastily initiated, badly planned, and motivated solely by arrogance. Iran has taken the lead in both operations and strategy in just two months, and it will be them who decide how the war plays out. Apparently, the Trump administration has let the proverbial cat out of the bag.
