We Must Do More Than Just De-Flock America. the Psychopaths in Charge of Our Governments Need to Be Escorted out Immediately. Stating With Mr. Rump aka Trump
For a long time now, I’ve been covering the story of the fast expanding surveillance state and the AI spy cameras that cover the United States. More than eleven thousand eight hundred and fifty U.S. cities and municipalities have these kinds of surveillance cameras installed by Flock Safety, a company based in Atlanta. Although Flock receives the majority of the press, there are other significant participants in the police surveillance industry, including as Axon and Motorola.
When I read the title, “Three Coweta sheriff’s employes resign after audit flags Flock Safety access,” in the August 4 edition of The Newnan Times Herald, my jaw dropped.
Aside from informing us that three sheriff’s deputies in our county were compelled to retire for violating department rules by improperly accessing video footage from the county’s Flock security cameras, the story didn’t provide much else.
The three workers allegedly had a meeting with their respective department managers following an internal audit that uncovered their involvement with the Flock tracking system, which is powered by artificial intelligence. Every one of the three workers “resigned before the audit process was completed and before an internal investigation was opened,” according to the report, after those discussions.
Neither the employes’ identities nor the nature of their jobs were disclosed by the sheriff’s office, nor was the specific action that precipitated the inquiry. The Sheriff’s hasty dismissal of them without offering any additional details must have been quite humiliating for them, regardless of what they did.
Rumor had it that the Georgia Bureau of Investigations (GBI) had taken over the case and our local sheriff would be keeping mom about the three employes’ unethical behavior, as casually mentioned at the article’s conclusion. Now that the Georgia Bureau of Investigations (GBI) is basically investigating itself, any more information regarding the nature of the crime in Newnan, Georgia will have to come from them. This effectively ensures that we will never learn anything meaningful about the incident.
If this case is representative of the national trend regarding the abuse of Flock cameras, we can expect to see instances where law enforcement officials were secretly monitoring the whereabouts of members of the public—possibly an ex-spouse, a girlfriend, a potential romantic interest, or someone else entirely—for reasons unrelated to their official duties.
It’s supposedly good and proper for the police to use this technology to track all of us. This should enrage every citizen of Coweta County and every other community where these cameras are popping up along every major highway, secondary road, bike path, park, shopping center parking lot, and walking trail. On the other hand, it would be problematic if an employe were to utilize it to monitor a specific person.
Why not just do away with the cameras completely? The American people strongly dislike government surveillance. It’s outrageous and must end because it violates the Fourth Amendment to the United States Constitution. We are enslaved and lack privacy until it does. The government is secretly monitoring our every action and utilizing the data for their own agenda.
