The phrase “reprobate mind” is found in Romans 1:28 in reference to those whom God has rejected as godless and wicked. They “suppress the truth by their wickedness,” and it is upon these people that the wrath of God rests (Romans 1:18). The Greek word translated “reprobate” in the New Testament is adokimos, which means literally “unapproved, that is, rejected; by implication, worthless (literally or morally).”

Paul describes two men named Jannes and Jambres as those who “resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith” (2 Timothy 3:8). Here the reprobation is regarding the resistance to the truth because of corrupt minds. In Titus, Paul also refers to those whose works are reprobate: “They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate” (Titus 1:16). Therefore, the reprobate mind is one that is corrupt and worthless.

(T)he scriptures tell us, that the godly have no business with the ungodly. We are told to separate ourselves from them. It is also written, that if we leave our ‘family’ in order to follow God, that this is great in the eyes of God. It again is also written, that Jesus Christ came, not to bring peace, but as a sword, dividing our families (godly versus ungodly).

Is our understanding of the scriptures, correct? Even Jesus spoke in parables so that He would not have to save the scribes and Pharisees. It appears to me (right or wrong), that the scriptures are given to us, for the purpose of finding, saving, instructing ‘His sheep’. If a person refuses to become one of His sheep (does not believe or follow The Word of God), then what would it matter to this person (in the eyes of God), whether he or she is married, commits adultery, murders, steals, etc.? Even the apostles/disciples were told to leave the homes of the unbelievers, wiping their feet when they go. In my opinion, the scriptures are only of value to those that believe.

Elsewhere, Scripture describes the worthless person as one who “digs up evil” (Prov. 16:27), “makes a mockery of justice” (Prov. 19:28), and “plots evil against the LORD” (Nah. 1:11). He leads others away from the God (Deut. 13:13), is given to lewd behavior (Judg. 19:22), hides from justice (Judg. 20:13), is unreasonable (1 Sam. 25:17), defies authority (2 Sam. 20:1), is willing to lie against the innocent and promote injustice (1 Ki. 21:9-13), and seeks to overpower the timid leader (2 Chron. 13:7). It should be noted that worthless persons can be born into good families, for “the sons of Eli were worthless men; they did not know the LORD” (1 Sam. 2:12).  And, they can attach themselves to a godly leader and cause trouble, such as “the wicked and worthless men among those who went with David (1 Sam. 30:22).

Why is it that people, including many of our political leaders, keep suppressing the truth? Why is it they have no common sense?

It is because when the truth is continually suppressed, God gives them up and gives them over to a debased or a reprobate mind that is void of judgment. Even though the following Scriptures speak of homosexuality, the principle applies to everything.

Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness …..

Useful Idiots and Lawlessness

In political jargon, a “useful idiot” is a derogatory term for a person perceived as a propagandist for a cause of whose goals they are not fully aware and who is used cynically by the leaders of the cause. The term was originally used to describe non-communists regarded as susceptible to communist propaganda and manipulation.

Barrack Obama and his administration were a modern-day national example of leaders who shaped many more Americans into useful idiots and made them susceptible to a radical socialist agenda that induced lawlessness, and even a new level of perversion that has infiltrated our nation. We’ve lost our moral compass. Confusion now marks our degenerated society. Lawless mobs are on the increase.

Now in the latest controversy, people are telling us that it’s unChristian to close our borders to illegal immigrants. What? There is not one iota of Scripture in the entire Bible that says a nation must receive a horde of thugs crashing the border illegally so it can be a “Christian nation.” Many of our leaders have become so open-minded their brains have fallen out. These are indeed new levels of stupid.

Hypocrisy and Lawlessness at an All-Time High in America

Reuters-Chelsea-Clinton
Chelsea Clinton (REUTERS/Brendan McDermid)

Recently, I was listening to an interview with Chelsea Clinton, who stated how serious a Christian she was while promoting the cause of abortion. My brain froze when I heard her say abortion actually helps the economy.

This attitude portrays the hypocrisy that has swept our nation.

The prophet said that when the truth is fallen in the streets there is no righteousness, justice or honesty. This is the present picture of America.

“Our courts oppose the righteous, and justice is nowhere to be found. Truth stumbles in the streets, and honesty has been outlawed” (Isa. 59:14, NLT).

We can take the recent court hearings of Justice Brett Kavanaugh as a glaring example of that ancient prophecy.

Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness (v. 24).

For this reason, God gave them up to vile passions (v. 26).

God gave them over to a debased mind (v. 28).

Why is this so hard to understand?

People who want to enjoy the benefits of America but not live according to its laws should never be allowed in. We already have drug lords, gangs, ghettos, and Black Lives Matter groups here that say they are going to live in our land but not by our laws. These lawless ones victimize thousands of people and never learn that the system they hate is the very source of their prosperity.

Enforcing laws solve all these problems. Mr. President, please stick to your guns, and let our troops use them if necessary to protect our borders. Lawlessness must not be allowed to escalate. Hypocrisy and lawlessness are an all-time high because the truth of the Scriptures has been disregarded and lightly esteemed—proving once again that our very first president got it right.

The Bible does not support the theory that there is some good in everyone, and in our hearts, we know this theory is full of holes, although we may hate to admit it.  Although the “liberal tolerations” choose not to see it, the truth is that there ARE people who truly have NO good in them!  They are BAD people, through and through. People exist who serve Satan and are children of the devil.  They are bad to the bone, and anyone who says otherwise is delusional.

Unfortunately, these wicked people hold down jobs, buy houses, marry and have children, just like normal people.  Some of us have had the misfortune to be born one of these children.

Many Scriptures make clear distinctions between good people and bad people, children of God and children of the devil.  In the Bible, it is black and white- there is no middle ground.  Scriptures teach us to discern the spirit of a person by his fruits, as well as his deeds.  A person, and his deeds, are either righteous or wicked – you can’t be a little bit of both:

Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray.  He who does what is right is righteous.  He who does what is sinful is of the devil because the devil has been sinning from the beginning…This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are:  Anyone who does not do what is right is not a child of God; nor is anyone who does not love his brother….1 John 3: 7-8,10.

The Bible teaches us to recognize the acts of a sinful nature and tells us very clearly that those who live by their sinful nature are doomed to damnation. When I first read this list of condemned behaviors, I was struck by how much some of them sounded like relatives of mine!:       The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity, and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions, and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like.  I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God….Galatians 5:19.

Jesus teaches us to discern the spirit of a person by his fruits-his works and the results he produces with what he does in his life.  Depending upon the righteousness or wickedness of his nature, everything he does, touches or influences will either be blessed or cursed.  Jesus also warns us that an evil person can NEVER do good. He also illustrates what will eventually happen to evil people:

By their fruit, you will recognize them.  Do people pick grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles?  Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.  A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit.  Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.  Thus, by their fruit, you will recognize them….Matthew 7:  16-20NIV.

There are people prowling the world, preying on others, who are reprobates, having what is known as a “Reprobate Mind”.  There is absolutely nothing good about them. They are evil incarnate, wicked through and through.  By definition, they are unsalvageable and doomed to damnation.  How does one become a reprobate?  By rejecting God so many times that God finally gives up on her and turns her over to the control of her own evil desires. (see Romans 1:28)  I will destine you for the sword, and you will all bend down for the slaughter; for I called you but you did not answer, I spoke but you did not listen.  You did evil in my sight and chose what displeases me….Isaiah 65:12NIV.

When God turns anyone over to a reprobate mind, He is just saying you can do what you want and God won’t interfere. God will also turn us over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh.

What is Happening to Céline Dion?

“I’m convinced that the way this gender thing has spread is demonic. It’s false. I don’t even know how many genders there’s supposed to be now, but there are only two that God made. The devil is going after children by confusing gender. When a child is born, what is the first things we say about that child? It’s a boy, or it’s a girl. That is the most natural thing in the world to say. But to say that there is no difference is satanic.

People behind this are influencing children to disorder. This is definitely satanic. There is a mind behind it—an organized mindset.

The devil is a liar and there are huge lies being told. This is being done for money, and there is divisiveness that comes from this—marks of the devil. The evil one feels that he can do these things without somehow being recognized behind it all. This [gender neutrality] is a ploy he has. It is being driven by an agenda because there is a spirit behind it.”

Is Céline Dion the mastermind behind this clothing venture? Of course not, the brand has been around for years. Céline is simply being used to sell it. And when one is used by the elite, you can count on elite-owned media to cover it. Especially if there’s some unhealthy going on.

“What are the causes and solutions for a hardened heart?”

Answer:
To better understand the causes and solutions for a hardened heart, it’s important to understand the broad biblical meaning of the word “heart.” The Bible considers the heart to be the hub of human personality, producing the things we would ordinarily ascribe to the “mind.” For example, Scripture informs us that grief (John 14:1); desires (Matthew 5:28); joy (Ephesians 5:19); understanding (Isaiah 6:10Matthew 13:15); thoughts and reasoning (Genesis 6:5Hebrews 4:12Mark 2:8); and, most importantly, faith and belief (Hebrews 3:12Romans 10:10Mark 11:23) are all products of the heart. Also, Jesus tells us that the heart is a repository for good and evil and that what comes out of our mouth – good or bad – begins in the heart (Luke 6:43–45).

Considering this, it’s easy to see how a hardened heart can dull a person’s ability to perceive and understand. Anyone’s heart can harden, even faithful Christians’. In fact, in Mark 8:17–19 we see Jesus’ own disciples suffering from this malady. The disciples were concerned with their meager bread supply, and it was clear that each of them had forgotten how Jesus had just fed thousands with only a few loaves. Questioning them as to the hardness of their hearts, Christ spells out for us the characteristics of this spiritual heart condition as an inability to see, understand, hear, and remember. Regarding this last criterion, too often we forget how God has blessed us and what He has done for us. Similar to the disciples in this instance or the Israelites wandering in the wilderness, when a new calamity arises in our lives, our hearts often filled with fear and concern. Sadly, this simply reveals to God the little faith we have in His promise to take care of us (Matthew 6:32–33Philippians 4:19). We need to remember not only the many times God has graciously provided for us in our time of need, but also what He has told us: “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you” (Deuteronomy 31:6Hebrews 13:5).

Sin causes hearts to grow hard, especially continual and unrepentant sin. Now we know that “if we confess our sins, [Jesus] is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins” (1 John 1:9). However, if we don’t confess our sins, they have a cumulative and desensitizing effect on the conscience, making it difficult to even distinguish right from wrong. And this sinful and hardened heart is tantamount to the “seared conscience” Paul speaks of in 1Timothy 4:1–2. Scripture makes it clear that if we relentlessly continue to engage in sin, there will come a time when God will give us over to our “debased mind” and let us have it our way. The apostle Paul writes about God’s wrath of abandonment in his letter to the Romans where we see that godless and wicked “men who suppress the truth” are eventually given over to the sinful desires of their hardened hearts (Romans 1:18–24).

Pride will also cause our hearts to harden. The “pride of your heart has deceived you . . . you who say to yourself, ‘who can bring me down to the ground’ . . . I will bring you down declares the LORD” (Obadiah 3). Also, the root of Pharaoh’s hard-heartedness was his pride and arrogance. Even in the face of tremendous proofs and witnessing God’s powerful hand at work, Pharaoh’s hardened heart caused him to deny the sovereignty of the one, true God. And when King Nebuchadnezzar’s “heart became arrogant and hardened with pride, he was deposed from his royal throne and stripped of his glory . . . until he acknowledged that the Most High God is sovereign over the kingdoms of men and sets over them anyone He wishes” (Daniel 5:20–21). Accordingly, when we’re inclined to do it our way, thinking we can “go it on our own,” it would be wise to recall what King Solomon taught us in Proverbs 14:12 and 16:25: “There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death.”

So, what then is the antidote for a heart condition such as this? First and foremost, we have to recognize the effect that this spiritual disease has on us. And God will help us to see our heart’s condition when we ask Him: “Search me O God, and know my heart…see if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting” (Psalm 139:23–24). God can heal any heart once we recognize our disobedience and repent of our sins. But true repentance is more than simply a resolute feeling of steadfast determination. Repentance manifests itself in a changed life.

After repenting of our sins, hard hearts begin to be cured when we study God’s Word. “How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word. I seek you with all my heart. . . . I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you” (Psalm 119:9–11). The Bible is our manual for living as it is “God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:16). If we are to live life to the fullest as God intended, we need to study and obey God’s written Word, which not only keeps a heart soft and pure but allows us to be “blessed” in whatever we do (Joshua 1:8James 1:25).

Hearts can also become hardened when we suffer setbacks and disappointments in life. No one is immune to trials here on earth. Yet, just as steel is forged by a blacksmith’s hammer, so, too, can our faith be strengthened by the trials we encounter in the valleys of life. As Paul encouraged the Romans: “But we also rejoice in our sufferings because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out His love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom He has given us” (Romans 5:3–5).

It is impossible to find anyone in the Bible who was a power for God who did not have enemies and was not hated.

Like Joseph and Daniel of the Old Testament who served secular kings, we are called to serve everyone and help them fulfill their divine destiny. Jesus made it clear that people who want to lead or be great must be the servants of all. Serving is the way of leadership in the kingdom.

Forcing our way onto the world is not great leadership. Some accuse us of doing this very thing because we speak up on moral issues. It is important that we speak up on issues, but it’s also equally important that we love everyone no matter their persuasions.

Someday Jesus will rule the world; in the meantime, we should just serve well and let our good works speak of our Father who loves everyone.
