Forgiveness

The Journey of Release:

• Step 1: Acknowledgement. Admit the pain without minimizing it.
• Step 2: Appeal. Ask God for the desire to forgive, as the ability often comes from Him, not us.
• Step 3: Decision. Decide to release the “debt” the other person owes you.
• Step 4: Replacement. Replace the memory of the hurt with a prayer for the other person’s healing

  Prayer: Lord,
When I remember the pain caused by others, help me release resentment. Instead, I pray for their healing and for their hearts to be restored. Bring peace, understanding, and forgiveness to us both, and let Your love guide my thoughts and actions. Amen…
