By Edward O’Hara, This may seem a sensitive subject for some. Some in more ways than others. But, I have often wondered why God made men with foreskin? What was His purpose in making something that is seemingly so unnecessary? And that has the added aspect of being so unclean? In Gal.3:17 we read that the covenants God made with Israel, the promise to Abraham and the law given through Moses, ran side by side while Israel was under the law. Why side by side? Why couldn’t the covenants be joined as one? Because as Paul taught in Rom.11:5,6 if it is by grace it can not be by works. And if by works it can not be by grace.
