Increased Deception: The Truth of the Gospel Is Distorted by an Increase in False Prophets (Trump).
The scripture depicts a figure of profound deceit and rebellion against God, frequently linked to the final days. Scriptural references emphasize his influence in deceiving the masses with misleading doctrines and astonishing wonders. A formidable political figure is portrayed as emerging during a period of significant upheaval, aiming to gain influence and challenge the convictions of the faithful. This being’s misleading essence is highlighted in verses like 1 John 2:18, which cautions about numerous adversaries who have already appeared, suggesting a wider influence of resistance to God.
Biblical prophesy outlines particular indicators and traits that must be recognized in order to identify the Antichrist. Important characteristics include:
Deceptive Nature: To divert people from the truth, the Antichrist will use trickery and manipulation.
Political Power: He will obtain influence over nations by rising to a position of considerable authority, most likely through political methods.
Opposition to God: The Antichrist will publicly oppose God by endorsing beliefs that run counter to what the Bible says.
These traits serve as cautions for believers to continue being watchful and discriminating in their faith, particularly as the signs of the times become more apparent.
Many of similar characteristics of the one Anti-Christ are held by the many anti-Christ’s. One of the greatest of these characteristics is that he will slander the holy name of God. Revelation 13:6 says, “And he opened his mouth in blasphemies against God, to blaspheme His name and His tabernacle, that is, those who dwell in heaven.
When they use God’s name in vain, those who are unbelievers blaspheme God also. This includes the vain use of Jesus’ name as it is written in Exodus 20:7 (and a half a dozen other places), “You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.” Indeed Jesus cautioned that men and women will have to offer an account for every idle word they speak in the Day of Judgment. Let that soak in.every word idle! “Which means all the words that are used with God’s name in vain, useless or even casual speech like, “Oh my God!”
A prominent trait is that the Anti-Christ will attempt to be worshiped like God is as Paul writes, “Don’t let anyone fool you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion erupts and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction.
He will oppose and exalt himself above every god or object of worship, so that he will sit in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God” (2 Thess 2:3-4). This Anti-Christ is called the “man of lawlessness” and will not come until the “rebellion” happens (Rev 17). This man is to come to power during the Tribulation and he will sit in the temple of God declaring himself to be God.
Paul knew this man of lawlessness would deceive many, and that is why many will worship him. Paul writes in 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12, “The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will do all kinds of evil magic and signs and wonders to support the falsehood. Every kind of evil that deceives those who are dying. They perish because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved.
Therefore God will pour upon them a strong deception, so that they may accept what is false, in order that all who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness may be condemned. People will be so far from knowing Jesus Christ that they won’t be able to tell the true God from the false one. Revelation 13:13 also describes these powers as he “performed great signs, even causing fire to come down from heaven, to the earth in full view of the people.” Jesus never did miracles to get attention for Himself, but to get recognition for God. The Anti-Christ will strive and attract glory to himself with miracles (John 4:48).
Just as Jesus Christ died on the cross and returned to life, the Anti-Christ will return to life from what was believed to be a death wound. After this he “commanded them to make an image to the beast which was wounded with the sword and had life” (Rev 13:14). What an accomplishment that will encourage many to worship him (Rev 13:12) at the sight of this “fatal wound [that] had been healed.” This is again mimicking Jesus Christ for even the disciple Thomas denied that Jesus could recover from death after His crucifixion but when he saw the resurrected Christ he acknowledged that Jesus was Lord and God (John 20:28).
For 42 months the Anti-Christ will reign over the earth, again mirroring the authority of Jesus. He “was given authority to continue [literally ‘make war’] for forty-two months” (Rev 13:5) for three and a half years. In fact the Anti-Christ “was given power over every tribe, people, language and nation” (Rev 13:7). Christians know who is superior because Jesus is Lord of all and has been granted all authority in heaven and earth. The Anti-Christ thinks he has power, yet he is granted as much power as God lets him to have. All this man’s power is within the sovereign design of God since God can even use evil for good.
The unsaved world is ruled by whoever controls the world’s goods. According to Revelation 13:16–17, this Man “forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name.” People would stop at nothing to avoid starvation once they become hungry. Even yield to a godless regime. He assigns a mark to everyone, making it impossible for them to purchase food or anything else unless they bear his mark. This is also an imitation of the all-powerful God who provides food for everyone, no matter how big or small. Everyone is marked by the Anti-Christ, but this mark has a high cost.
The Anti-Christ Cleanses Up God’s Temple
This abomination of desolation is talked about in Daniel 11:31, when it says that his “armed forces will rise up to desecrate the temple fortress and will end the daily sacrifice.” Then they will build the horrible thing that makes the land empty. “There is no longer a daily sacrifice” (Dan 12:11). “He will invade the kingdom when its people feel safe, and he will seize it through intrigue,” so you can’t trust him. After that, he will completely wipe out a huge army, killing both it and a prince of the covenant. After you agree to work with him, he will lie, and he will become powerful with just a few people. He is going to attack the richest provinces when they feel safe. This is something that neither his fathers nor his ancestors did. He will give his followers stolen goods, money, and other valuable things. He will plan to take down castles, but only for a short time (Dan 11:21–24). He lies and steals from other thieves. He agrees to peace and stays true to his word, but many people are fooled by this.
Jesus talked about this by saying, “So when you see the abomination of desolation that Daniel the prophet spoke of standing in the holy place, read and understand.” He then told those in Judea to run to the mountains and told those on top of buildings not to go down to get anything. And let the person who is in the field not go back to get his clothes. “But woe to women who are pregnant or nursing young ones back then! And pray that you don’t have to leave in the winter or on the Sabbath, because then there will be great trouble like there has never been before or since the beginning of time (Matthew 24:15–21).
Trying to destroy Israel as the Anti-Christ
It has always been Satan’s goal to destroy the Jews and everyone following him. This comes true in the end times. Daniel 11:40–41 says, “And at the end of the world, the king of the south will push at him, and the king of the north will come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, horsemen, and many ships. He will go into the countryside and overflow and pass over.” He will also go into the beautiful land of Jerusalem and completely destroy many nations. But Edom, Moab, and the leaders of the Ammonites will escape his grasp. This takes place after a treaty is broken. At first, he says he will help save Jerusalem, but he lies all the time and the truth is not in him (Dan 9:27). He keeps breaking promises and breaking treaties one after the other. It’s clear that his power comes from the Satan, who is the father of lies.
Makes the armies of the world fight against Christ
It shows that pride comes before the fall when the Anti-Christ makes a bad choice. This is an extremely helpful fall. John wrote, “I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies coming together to fight the rider on the horse and his army” (Revelation 19:19). He is so cocky and full of himself that he thinks he can beat even Jesus Christ, but he is very wrong (Rev 19:20–21). Power not only changes people, it also makes them unable to see what is right and wrong. What makes this man think he can hurt Jesus Christ, who is God Almighty?
That is the last choice Anti-Christ will make, and it is a bad one because he will be thrown alive into the lake of fire, where he can’t trick people anymore.
What the Antichrist Will Do in the End
Everyone who is a “a” anti-Christ and the Anti-Christ himself are going to the lake of fire in the end. Are you saying that Jesus Christ is not God, that He came to earth and lived a perfect, sinless life, that He died for our sins, that He rose from the dead, that He now sits at God’s right hand, and that He will return to judge the world in righteousness? If so, then you are also an anti-Christ (little “a”). No sin is too big to forgive, except not believing that Jesus Christ is the Son of God (1 John 1:9). For those who don’t believe in Jesus Christ, there is no saving you unless you turn away from your sins (John 3:18).
If you are reading this, you still have time to change your mind. If not, I’m sorry to tell you that you and the Antichrist will be going to hell. In Revelation 20:19–20, it says, “And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies getting ready to fight Him who was sitting on the horse and His army.” The beast and the false prophet who did signs in front of the beast were then caught. The false prophet used these signs to trick people who had the mark of the beast and worshiped his image. These two people were thrown into the lake of fire while they were still living. Keep in mind that they were thrown into the lake of fire while still alive. We can’t tell you the good news until we first tell you the bad news. Now for the good news (Rom 10:9–13). Acts 4:12 says you don’t need to go there. Christ hasn’t come back yet, so He’s still waiting for some people to turn away from their sins. He doesn’t want anyone to die without His saving grace (Acts 16:30–33). Please come to Him and believe in the Savior. If you don’t, you will have to face Him as Judge. I pray that you put your faith in the only one who can save you today and trust Him with your ultimate fate. Christ, who gave his life for you.
