Christians Should Fight Evil, Engaging in War is not Always Sinful

Ecclesiastes 3:8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace. The attacks of September 11 and the resulting war against terrorism have brought to the front once again the question of the Christian view of war. The question is particularly complex because it is hard to see how war can be consistent with the biblical emphasis on forgiveness and forbearance and love.
