Throughout the history of the Soviet Union (1917–1991), there were periods when Soviet authorities brutally suppressed and persecuted various forms of Christianity to different extents depending on State interests. Soviet Marxist-Leninist policy consistently advocated the control, suppression, and ultimately, the elimination of religious beliefs, and it actively encouraged the propagation of Marxist-Leninist atheism in the Soviet Union. However, most religions were never officially outlawed. After the Russian Revolution of 1917, the Bolsheviks undertook a massive program to remove the influence of the Russian Orthodox Church from the government, outlawed antisemitism in society, and promoted atheism. Tens of thousands of churches were destroyed or converted to other uses, and many members of the clergy were murdered, publicly executed and imprisoned for what the government termed “anti-government activities”. An extensive educational and propaganda campaign was launched in order to convince people, especially children and youths, to abandon their religious beliefs. An unidentified source who works with Bank of America has disclosed a pilot program beginning Nov. 18 that plans to separate vaccinated from unvaccinated employees at an administration building in Jacksonville, Florida. The source, who asked to remain anonymous, told The Epoch Times that the program was initiated as a way to bring employees back to the office after a period of working remotely during the pandemic. It’s going to be tough for a Missouri news reporter who says she was dismissed from her job for not following the company’s vaccine mandate, but she says she has faith in God and that will get her through it. CBN News spoke with former reporter Kim St. Onge, a reporter for KMOV News in St. Louis for almost a decade. After presenting a letter from her pastor, St. Onge was given a religious exemption; nevertheless, the news station’s owner imposed additional restrictions with which the reporter disagreed. Houston Methodist Hospital Suspends Doctor’s Privileges After She Voices Concerns Over Vaccine Mandates.

A Texas hospital announced that it has suspended the privileges of a doctor who posted concerns on social media about COVID-19 vaccine mandates and suggested that ivermectin may be able to treat the virus. Dr. Mary Bowden, an ear, nose, and throat doctor at Houston Methodist Hospital, posted what was called “dangerous misinformation” that’s “not based in science” about the virus, the hospital announced on Twitter. The Biden administration is under more scrutiny over an invasive questionnaire included in the form for federal employees seeking a religious exemption from the COVID-19 vaccine mandate. The Safer Federal Workforce task force website posted an updated template on Friday for the federal government to use when assessing whether an employee can qualify for a religious exemption.
