In a battle described in Ex.17 we read that Israel was defeating their enemy while Moses held up his arms up. But when his arms grew weary and began to come down the enemy began to advance against Israel. When I read stories like this in the Bible I always want to ask why didn’t God just win the fight for them? He does it other times.
