  Students in New York City public schools will be able to remove their masks outside starting next week, but must keep them on inside for the time being, according to Schools Chancellor David Banks. “I am overjoyed that we are able to make this exciting announcement and securely allow children and employees at NYC public schools to remove their masks when outside,” Banks said in a statement.
