But additional translations of the verse allude to a physical room. Calling these inner rooms “secret chambers, storerooms, or ‘He’s in a secret place!’”But does that not sound like a basic metaphor to you? I think it’s clear that Jesus wants us to refrain from reaching within as zionists do to attain “Christ consciousness” in a sense.
