The Peoples Convoy Moves Along With An Eye Out For ‘Bad Actors’.

 On March 7, a trucker-led caravan left Maryland and looped around the Capital Beltway, demanding that the COVID-19 national emergency designation be lifted. The People’s Convoy was postponed due to fears of infiltrators intent on creating “damage, violence, and disruption,” according to Brian Brase, one of the convoy’s organizers. He also warned against opposing drivers cutting in front of the convoy and abruptly braking. Participants were instructed to keep track of pertinent information, such as license plate numbers, and to contact law enforcement. The convoy, which started in California and traveled across the country, is protesting President Joe Biden’s decision to keep the emergency declaration in place, as well as COVID-19 vaccine mandates and other regulations.
