More than 72,000 persons tested positive for the CCP virus this week, according to the Israeli Ministry of Health, marking the highest increase in infections since the pandemic began. According to a Jan. 19 announcement from the country’s health ministry, total active cases in the country have risen to approximately 400,000 persons, with 533 of them hospitalized in critical condition.
