Most people, including my self for long time until The Holy Spirit taught us more about it, and most other Church attending persons believe that this promise from God of John 3:16 was only meant and was limited for their salvation of their Soul to be saved (by asking Jesus to forgive their sins and receive Jesus as their Savior) so their Soul does not end up in Hell forever but in Heaven after their physical death on this Earth once one becomes a child of God. But, if you take a minute and follow this breakdown and consider its full meaning of “should not perish” A PROMISE OF GOD actually begins to provide the believer of Jesus Christ access to the Kingdom of God (healing, provisions, RELATIONSHIP WITH ALL MIGHTY GOD NOT A RELIGION , while that person is still living for many years on this Earth to experience and also enjoy all the additional ‘heavenly benefits‘ long before they are with Jesus in Heaven after their physical death. Another way to look at it is that the children of God began to receive advance annuity payments even before they retire to their graves. It is important to understand, to believe and to become aware that the “everlasting life’ does not start after death but rather the moment a person believes and receives Jesus as their personal Savior. God wanted man to experience again on this Earth what God had given to Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden ( Who saw and experienced many attributes of Heaven and were given the power and authority to operate and replenish the Earth Genesis 1;26-28) when God initially created them. Adam and Eve would still be alive today if they had not tasted DEATH – (separation from God) by exercising their FREE WILL AGAINST GOD’S WARNING. According to The Bible Adam had so much life of God in him that even after he had tasted death that he lived for another 930 years before he finally died. Genesis 5:3-5. That leads us to also look at what Jesus said and did after Jesus had received The Holy Spirit upon Him, and for approximately three and half years, the Direct Message from God and execution of God’s Will and Power working through Jesus with his full acceptance and exercising of HIS FREE WILL’ to perform Miracles and Restoration for whosoever was willing to accept and receive their healing and even many cases deliverance from demonic possession if they were bound under influence of the powers of darkness.Bible teaches us that not all around Jesus did get healed not because Jesus could not, or would not, heal them but in actuality these individuals did not get healed because they basically believed how can a carpenter’s son do such things and rejected Him? That totally illustrates the point that because it was was solely dependent on each person’s believing and receiving otherwise they would be healed if they would only ask Jesus to do so. Bible does teach us time and time again that Jesus healed them all. If you take the time to research the times Jesus healed them all it was not just few but at times hundreds of people who were healed and delivered from the snares of Satan.
God is not a respecter of any particular individual.
It is best to ask The Holy Spirit as to why you are not experiencing the healing promises as provided in the Bible.
Holy Spirit is the one who can answer your questions. Jesus said ” He is your ever present helper, teacher, advocate and person who reveals the current will of Jesus”. May I suggest please do not ask Him why God is not healing me? But rather consider asking Him what must I change in my understanding of the Word of God and belief system to receive the manifestation of my healing according to The Word of God? Another reason that could be is that based on our own experiences that in most Church meetings we attend now there is great emphasis and elements of ‘concert like entertainment – flashing lights, high levels of sound and drum beats’, fellowship and exhibition of the depth of knowledge of the Word of God ( long Sermons with no display of power of God working through them) because no time and place left to dedicated to the Holy Spirit to operate. Without no time left to almost after the services to acknowledge and have actual corporate worship led by The Holy Spirit to glorify Jesus and in most cases that could be the reason we miss the most crucial point when we do not allow time for The Holy Spirit and Jesus to operate through us to manifest HIS WILL.
Serving God becomes exciting and meaningful when we realize that we now do have a direct relationship with The Father, Jesus and The Holy Spirit all the time and as children of God we also have the privilege to participate with almighty God’s presence in us (John 14:23 and 1 Corinthians 3:16) and enjoying see God will be done as God does the work of The Kingdom of God. Quite different than what the Old Testament believers experienced God’s presence and definitely unlike all the other World religion’s gods.
If we closely review the ones who are recorded in the Bible who received miracles of healing and deliverance through Jesus were not Jews, or not yet even saved, which even made Jesus say “I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.” Luke 7:9. Bottom line, they all desired and asked Jesus for their healing and deliverance using their FREE WILL.
As Jesus repeatedly stated and demonstrated that he continually acknowledged the presence and need of His Father and declared that The Father is working through Him to perform the works. Jesus repeatedly said ‘that I say and do what I see my Father saying and doing”. John 5:19. Before, we move to the next segment of this article it is very important for us to see what exactly Jesus instructed the 70 Disciples and The 12 Apostles to go and do even before Jesus had suffered and died on the cross and then on the third day rose again , they were even not yet Born Again or had received the Holy Spirit in the Book of Luke 10:1-17. Jesus gave them His Name, Authority and Power over the demons and to go and declare to them “Kingdom of God has come unto you and heal the sick “. Luke 10:17

Praise God if you are a Born Again believer please stop warming the pews but rather start obeying Jesus and tell everyone you know ‘The Kingdom of God is nigh you, heal the sick and deliver the oppressed to glorify Jesus.
It is very possible because the children of God have not exercised the commandment Jesus gave us to preach that Kingdom of God has come and heal the sick that Satan has been allowed to spread his Kingdoms values and works.
