Shares slipped another 1.6% on Thursday and have dropped more than 12.6% since the furor erupted a week ago Wednesday, as tracked by Dow Jones Market Data Group. That amounts to $9.3 billon in market value.
Shares have fallen for six consecutive days over that period, their longest losing streak since December 2022 and the worst six-day stretch since the six days ending May 25, 2022, when shares fell 27.34%.
Over the same time frame, the S&P 500 is little changed. Inquiries by FOX Business to Target on its stock selloff were not immediately returned.

Donald Trump Jr. is calling for the end of a conservative-led boycott against Bud Light, which is owned by a foreign entity called Anheuser-Busch InBev.
The boycott was sparked by the parent company’s partnership with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney.
In an April 13 broadcast of his “Triggered” podcast, the son of former President Donald Trump addressed the controversy and stunned his audience.
Trump Jr. questioned whether the decision to show support for Mulvaney was “a one-off colossal screw-up” and urged his followers to forgive the company. Keep on buying those Bud Lights.
He then claimed Anheuser-Busch supported Republicans and that in the last election cycle, its employees and its Political Action Committee gave “about 60 percent to Republicans,” only 40 percent to Democrats. (Maybe that’s how we end up with such weak, feckless Republicans?)
Trump Jr., who frequently taps into conservative Americans’ frustration with “woke” capitalism, in this case broke away from the movement as it related to Anheuser-Busch. Why is that?
For one, most boycotts don’t work because most Americans are too fickle to stick to their guns and stretch their boycotts beyond one or two months. Target, Disney, Tractor Supply, the NFL and NBA: All suffered through but survived boycotts by conservatives.
But in the case of Bud Light, it’s different. This boycott is showing signs of actually sticking, and growing. This is for two reasons: First, Bud Light’s customer base is mostly over 50 and conservative. Second, the beer is not very good. When boy-cotters try other beers, they will quickly realize that there is no shortage of bad beers, all charging about the same price. There are other beers that are just as cheap and just as bad tasting so why give your money to a woke corporation that only pretends to be American based and hold American values?
“I’m not for destroying an American, an iconic company, for something like this. The company itself doesn’t participate in the same leftist nonsense as the other big conglomerates,” Trump Jr. said, arguing that Anheuser-Busch had a conservative leaning.
For starters, Anheuser-Busch is no longer an American iconic company. It’s owned by InBev, a Belgium-based conglomerate.
Trump Jr. goes on to say:
“Frankly, they don’t participate in the same woke garbage that other people in the beer industry actually do, who are significantly worse offenders when I looked into it. But if they do this again, then it’s on them! Then, screw them.”
Again, this isn’t true. If you look at Anheuser-Busch InBev’s website and click on the About Us tab and then on the Sustainability tab, you will see that left-wing woke politics is nothing new, nothing approaching a “one off” for this company.
The company brags about its compliance with the United Nations Agenda 2030 sustainable development goals, stating up front that “sustainability is our business.” Oh really? I thought brewing beer was your business.
A big part of reaching the 2030 United Nations-driven Sustainability utopia that globalists so desperately desire is pandering to the radical LGBTQ agenda. Donald Trump Jr. should know this.

Fox News Channel has a pro-transgender bias that impacts its primetime and online news coverage, according to a new report.
The Daily Signal’s senior reporter, Mary Margaret Olahan, spoke to former and current Fox employees about how the company has taken aggressive steps against traditional values it claims to defend on-air.
After Tucker Carlson was ousted, "Fox News Tonight" producers were told by high-level executives not to bash transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney, according to a source.
A former "Tucker Carlson Tonight" producer said they had to fight to use male pronouns to refer to Mulvaney, a biological male who gained attention by dressing up in women’s clothing on TikTok.
Fox uses woke phrases like "gender affirming care" in stories and refers to biological males like Mulvaney and Lia Thomas as females in its digital stories.
Last year, Fox drew backlash for a segment celebrating a child’s gender transition as an "inspiration to others."
Olahan wrote, "That segment briefly depicted California state Sen. Scott Weiner, a far-left Democrat who led the move to soften sex offender registry requirements for sodomy with minors, and highlighted the activist claim that a child might commit suicide if he or she is not permitted to transition."
Viewers responded online.
"Fox News has gone completely woke... Newsmax will hopefully take over!" one user tweeted in response.
"Murdoch is on board with the child mutilation portion of the ‘trans’ agenda too," another wrote.
The radical agenda is built into Fox’s workplace, where employees are permitted "to use bathrooms that align with their gender identity, rather than their biological sex, and to dress in alignment with their preferred gender. They must also be addressed by their preferred name and pronouns in the workplace."
The employee handbook has a section titled "Gender Transition" to help people change their gender.
"Employees who are transitioning their gender have the right to be open about their transition if they so choose and to work in an environment free of harassment, discrimination, or retaliation and without fear of consequences or transphobia for living openly," the policy reads.
Fox Corporation also celebrates its "100 percent" score from the radical Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s "report measuring corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ+ workplace equality."
"At FOX, we celebrate our diverse workforce and remain committed to LGBTQ+ equality and inclusion," Kevin Lord, Fox Corporation Executive Vice President of Human Resources, said in a statement.
"We’ve established inclusive policies and practices with a focus on our recruiting, hiring, and training efforts, as well as providing equitable healthcare and other benefits," he added. "It’s a source of pride and inspiration to receive this honor from the Human Rights Campaign Foundation for four years running."
According to a report in Rolling Stone, Fox News dissolved its investigative unit on Friday.
The report linked the layoffs to the $787.5 million settlement with Dominion Voting Systems, which had sued Fox for defamation.
"The rank-and-file journalists are getting let go. Meanwhile, upper management is sitting pretty while they are the executives responsible for the Dominion debacle. We are the sacrificial lambs," Rolling Stone quoted one source it said was an unnamed Fox journalist.
"Yes, [layoffs] have happened and will continue to happen," the magazine quoted a second source as saying.
"I think producers, management, et cetera [are being laid off]," a former Fox staffer whose name was not used is quoted as saying. "They are trying to get money off the books before June 30. They have to save money because of the [Dominion] lawsuit."
A report in the New York Daily News offered a different take.
Changes to the investigative unit have "nothing to do with Dominion," according to what a "source with knowledge of the situation" told the Daily News.
The Daily News report said the unit was reorganized, not scrapped.
"There were three employees in the seven-person unit impacted, while four employees were offered different positions within the company," the Daily News quoted its source as saying.
The source said the investigative unit’s staff had largely been working in other areas and had not been conducting investigations.
Conversely, the Rolling Stone report hinted at tensions within Fox News.
"The outrage is that Suzanne Scott and Maria Bartiromo keep their jobs. Meanwhile, the journalists get let go. We are in shock," one of its employee sources was quoted as saying, referring to the Fox News CEO and a high-profile host.
Fox News has been reeling since it pulled host Tucker Carlson off the air last month. According to a report in Variety, dumping Carlson was an unwritten promise from Fox News to Dominion.
Citing what it called "multiple sources with knowledge of the conversation," Variety said Carlson learned the reason why his show was canceled on April 26 during a conversation with a Fox News board member.
The board member, who was not named, informed Carlson that booting him was an unwritten condition of the settlements.
The Variety report said that Dominion told Fox that if it refused to make Carlson collateral damage, the settlement was off and Fox News could take its chances in a jury trial. Dominion and Fox have pushed back against the claim.
