Austrian Government Not Budging as Thousands of Citizens Protest Weekly Since November Against Vaccine Mandate.

Thousands of people came to the streets of Vienna on Saturday to protest the government’s intentions to make COVID-19 vaccinations mandatory for all Austrians starting next month.

At one march in central Vienna, thousands chanted, “The government must go!” in what has become a weekly Saturday event. The subject will be voted on in Parliament next week.

In November, the government announced a fourth national lockdown and said that all Austrians would be required to receive vaccines, making Austria the first European Union country to do so.

According to a poll conducted by Profil magazine, 51% of those polled oppose making vaccinations mandatory starting in February, with 34% against forced vaccination in general and 17% preferring to wait. According to the poll, 45 percent of Austrians support mandatory vaccination beginning in February.

This isn’t a sudden change of pace in Austria; They’ve been moving full steam ahead in terms of tyrannical COVID-19 legislature.

Following the country’s announcement of a sweeping nationwide vaccine mandate, the city of Linz in Austria began hiring personnel on December 22nd to discover people who are not vaccinated and guarantee they pay a fine.

All people aged 14 and up who have a place of residency in Austria will be required to be vaccinated against COVID-19 as of February 1.

Those who fail to comply might face fines of up to 3,600 euros ($4,071) over the course of a year, with income and other financial responsibilities factored in. In a simplified procedure, officials may levy a punishment of up to 600 euros (about $680). That’s not all, if you don’t pay the fine after a year’s past they are imprisoning Austrians for a 12 month sentence.

About 68 percent of Austria’s population is fully vaccinated against COVID-19, one of the lowest rates in Western Europe. Many Austrians are sceptical about vaccines, a view encouraged by the far-right Freedom Party, the third-biggest in parliament.

The city of Linz in Upper Austria is now hiring workers to ensure that the unvaccinated pay their fines prior to the vaccination deadline.

“No to vaccine fascism,” read one protest sign.

“I’m not a neo-Nazi or a hooligan,” said another, “I’m fighting for freedom and against the vaccine.”

Despite Fürst protesting that the amendment could be used to further punish the unvaccinated, the measure was approved anyway.

At the time the mandate was announced, then Chancellor Alexander Schallenberg vowed to hit the unvaccinated with “penalties” if they still refused to get the jab, while asserting that they should “suffer.”

Given that some technocrats are asserting that the vaccination program will never end, the initial one year prison sentence for vaccine refusals could be just the beginning.

None of these policies being set in place by nations across the globe are beneficial to it’s citizens; And it’s a demonstration of the lack of integrity posed by national leaders. They’ve sold themselves out to adhere to an agenda they can’t wrap their mind’s around. You don’t need much of an explanation when you let the money do the talking however.

The fact that people are being hired to “ensure” citizens pay a $4,071 fine for not getting vaccinated is egregious. This agenda isn’t going anywhere, neither is the disparity between unvaccinated and vaccinated people. Your friends and family should be able to look past any medical decisions you make; but some people are completely sold on MRNA inoculations while we WATCH tyranny imposed on Australians, Chinese, Canadians, etc. Are Americans not aware that this entire debacle is un-American and alarmingly fascist behavior?

Conservative Leader Erin O’Toole has spoken out against Quebec’s intention to tax residents who refuse the COVID-19 vaccine, and other Conservative lawmakers have also spoken out against the contentious measure.

During a Facebook Live event on Jan. 13, O’Toole expressed his opposition to Quebec Premier François Legault’s idea, calling it unjust and predicted that it will not persuade vaccine-skeptical Quebecers to roll up their sleeves.

He also claimed that Quebec’s idea is incompatible with Canada’s health-care policy, and that it’s simple to “turn a frustrated 85 percent of the population against 10 or 15 other percent of the population,” referring to those who are vaccinated and those who refuse to get the shot.”

On Jan. 13, he announced that a measure will be filed in the province’s National Assembly early in February, allowing all political parties to “vote for or against and propose adjustments, if necessary.” Official statistics show that 85 percent of Quebecers have gotten at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Alberta Premier Jason Kenney, Manitoba Premier Heather Stefanson, and Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe all ruled out a similar punishment for unvaccinated people of their jurisdictions earlier this week. Dr. Kieran Moore, Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer of Health, has stated that he will not recommend a comparable “punitive” fee on the unvaccinated. On Twitter, a number of Conservative MPs slammed Legault’s idea.

“Any tax targeting unvaccinated people is discriminatory and wrong. Period.” Pierre Poilievre, a member of the Carleton legislature, wrote in a letter.

Melissa Lantsman, a member of Parliament from Thornhill, described the proposal as “legally and ethically wrong.”

“The scapegoating of the “unvaccinated” is becoming increasingly common. “This tax will do nothing to keep anyone safe,” said Michael Cooper, MP for St. Albert-Edmonton.

Quebec’s plan has also been opposed by a number of civil liberties and constitutional rights organizations.

In a statement released on Jan. 12, the Canadian Civil Liberties Association (CCLA) stated that the planned tax on the unvaccinated “raises significant equity concerns.”

“We know that some of those who remain unvaccinated are individuals who face serious barriers to accessing health care, and many have a low level of trust in the system because of negative experiences in the past,” said Cara Zwibel, the CCLA’s acting general counsel.

“This is a divisive measure that will end up punishing and alienating those who may be most in need of public health supports and services.”

Mark Strahl, a Conservative MP, praised the CCLA for condemning the “shameful policy,” saying that Canada’s charter “recognizes human liberty over our bodies and medical decisions.”

The Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms said on Jan. 13 that it will sue Quebec over the “planned health tax,” which it claims violates the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

“The proposed Quebec ‘health tax’ is an outrageous breach of Quebecers’ Charter rights and an affront to the equality for which Canada was once recognized,” says John Carpay, president of the Justice Centre.

On January 12, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau stated that he would need more information about Quebec’s plan before deciding whether or not to endorse it. The next day, he stated that the province has indicated that the plan will adhere to the objectives of the Canada Health Act, which ensures that all Canadians have access to health care.

This news comes just after the U.S. government warned its citizens to avoid traveling north of the border due to Canada’s rising cases on Jan 11th. To me it just looks like these politicians are trying to keep the public from knowing that there is a particular emptiness around the world that these tyrannical politicians created.
