DEATH IS SEPARATION… BUT SEPARATION FROM WHAT?

Edward O’Hara Mon 2/3/2020 2:15 PM When I say death is separation it means that when death happens to a man who is not born of the Spirit he dies physically because his body is separated from the air that God breathed into his nostrils(Gen.2:7, Ecc.12:7). It also means the same thing when animals die (Gen.7:14,15,21,22). But, when a man who is born of the Spirit dies, not only is his body separated from the air that it breathed while he was alive. It also means that his spirit is separated from his body and goes to be with the Lord (2 Cor.5:8).  So from these descriptions of the separation that happens, that defines what death is, the question we should be asking is, where does the Bible ever describe a spiritual separation between man and God that many teach…
