and in some places around the world it will be made mandatory. All that a vaccine does is trigger the immune system to produce antibodies to fight either a bacterial or a viral infection. The body does the same thing. When we get infected the body naturally produces the antibodies. In the case of viral infections like the rhinovirus (common cold) or the Influenza virus (the Flu) there are no cures. The body fights the virus by massively producing white blood cells and antibodies which causes Fever, inflammation,  body aches and mucus as a response. We  get bed rest, take antihistamines, aspirin or pain killers, drink orange juice for Vitamin C and we get better. This reaction is mild for some and severe for others but without the side effects of a vaccine. As for the history of vaccines here…
