Prepare for a fresh round of COVID scaremongering as Big Pharma attempts to push a second (then a third, then a fourth…) booster dosage as demand declines (even as scientists warn about a new hybrid mutant strain). Due to declining demand, two of the world’s most important supranational groups representing low- and middle-income nations have opted not to acquire hundreds of millions of further doses of Moderna’s vaccine. As developing countries struggle to find enough customers eager to be inoculated, the African Union and Covax, a Bill Gates and WHO-backed organization dedicated to spreading (low-cost) vaccines around the world, have decided to forego purchasing more vaccines (while the US rolls out a second booster for older patients).
