Watchman’s Daily Devotional: Isaiah 8:12–13 12 “Do Not Call Conspiracy All That This People Calls Conspiracy, and Do Not Fear What They Fear, nor Be in Dread. but the Lord of Hosts, Him You Shall Honor As Holy. Let Him Be Your Fear, and Let Him Be Your Dread

Throughout my journey, I have encountered countless tales of conspiracy, from the whispers of Luminata to the shadows of the grassy knoll, from the mysteries of chemical trails to the enigma of extraterrestrial beings, and so many more. These narratives ignite a spark within the soul, offering a sense of knowledge that seems elusive to the ordinary person. Yet, there are times when such conspiracies breed unfounded fears, leading individuals to make hasty and unwise choices, all while diverting their attention from the true essence of life. It is the fleeting nature of this existence that fuels their anxiety about its conclusion. What truly deserves our reverence is the LORD and His ultimate judgment upon us all. This awareness should prompt us to reflect on our actions and steer us away from wrongdoing. While perhaps one in a thousand conspiracies […]

Watchman’s Daily Devotional: When Your Soul Is Overwhelmed, Run to the Character and Faithfulness of God. As Your Remind Yourself of Who He Is and What He Can Do, You Will Find Peace in the Storm.

Proverbs 18:10 reminds us that the name of the LORD serves as a strong tower; the righteous find safety within it. The esteemed theologian Stephen Charnock describes “the name of the LORD” as encompassing all of God’s attributes, reflecting His very essence. Solomon is not suggesting that the name itself is a magical incantation for protection; rather, he invites us to seek solace and tranquility in the nature of God. When challenges arise, we can focus our thoughts on who God is. Recall how He supported the figures in Scripture through their trials. Remember, He is omniscient, fully present with you and aware of every detail of your life. Nothing escapes His notice. Additionally, God is omnipotent, possessing the strength to alter your circumstances or guide you through them. While situations may seem insurmountable and the adversary may seem to

Many individuals desire His presence in every aspect of their lives, except when it comes to their finances, yet it’s important to remember that finances are guided by the heart. When God holds a piece of your heart, true peace eludes you until He possesses it entirely. Your finances will become His too. This parable unfolds in families time and again. A single individual transforms and starts to embrace a vibrant new way of living. In no time, the entire family embraces Jesus. When it occurs within a church or community, it is referred to as revival. While not everyone may embrace

Watchman’s Daily Devotional: It Is Common to Observe Individuals Attributing Their Own Faults to Others. Furthermore, One May Notice That Numerous People Strive to Rationalize Immoral and Depraved Actions.

Woe to those who confuse good with evil and evil with good, who exchange light for darkness and darkness for light, who trade sweet for bitter and bitter for sweet! In Christ, our perspective transforms, allowing us to see the world in its true light. You may find that as people analyze the same facts or circumstances, they arrive at completely different conclusions. It becomes evident that individuals often accuse others of the very faults they possess. Many strive to rationalize immoral actions and wickedness, prioritizing the rights of offenders over the healing of victims. Groupthink often overshadows sound reasoning in our society. Contradictory and illogical assertions are rampant. Take a moment to reflect on the absurdity of the claim, “There are no absolutes.” Isn’t that itself an absolute statement? People may cite Scripture to support their disbelief in the
