By SRH The Idolatry of Ethnic Israel When any created thing—including a nation or ethnic group—is elevated to a position that belongs to Christ alone, this is idolatry. Dispensational Zionism makes ethnic Israel a co-redemptive entity alongside Christ. Any theology that offers hope apart from Christ crucified, or elevates any nation to covenant status apart from faith in Christ, has created an idol. Dispensational Zionism is the true ‘replacement theology’—it replaces Christ with Israel. “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
