IS THE 10 KINGS PROPHECY OF REV.17 HAPPENING NOW?- Rev.17:16-18

Rev.17 is a description of events that happen before the antichrist comes on the scene. This means that when reading Revelation you know it does not lay out a linear description of prophecy being fulfilled. But, is actually a back and forth overlay of events both leading up to, and that happen during the great trib. It is vitally important that we recognize this.

What I mean is that as we read Revelation we find vials, bowls, and trumpets, etc that are events and judgments of God poured out. But, these are not happening linearly as if when the vials are finished the bowls begin. And when the bowls are finished the trumpets begin. They are a description of things that are happening all at the same time. To be understood as if overlaid upon each other.

Because if we read Revelation with the mindset that these things are happening one after the other in a linear fashion. We will end up putting things described here in the great trib. That actually belong in the time leading up to the great trib.

I was happy to see an example of this in an interview between Mondo Gonzales and Tom Hughes at Gary Stearman's Prophecy Watchers. Where I saw that they understood that the prophecy of the 10 kings that is found way down through Revelation in ch17 actually happens before the AC comes on the scene. Besides myself, these are the only 2 people I personally have heard teach this that have reached this conclusion. Even though it appears to be so obvious from the passage.

And even though these 2 men make the same mistake so many do thinking the time frame for the great trib is 7 years because a misunderstanding of who the "he" is that causes the sacrifices and oblations to cease in Dan.9. They at least have seen this part of the prophecy correctly.

In this chapter describing the 10 kings/horns we also see the woman that rides the beast. With the last verse in this chapter telling us who she is by saying "she is that great city that reigns over the kings of the earth".

So this not only tells us the 10 kings rule before the AC is revealed which begins the great trib. And that they assume power by destroying the harlot. And not only shows us the harlot will be long gone before the AC comes to power.

This actually also tells us who that great city is. And without using the faulty reasoning where some match up phrases to put scriptures together. Phrases like "great city" used here to describe a particular entity. So that it must make that one entity what is being described every time that phrase is used. We instead apply the context to determine what is being described. This is how we can be sure we will discover what is this city John is describing here in Rev.17.

Because when John wrote Revelation Rome was that great city that was reigning over the kings of the earth. So in context we know because John wrote that "she is that great city that reigns(present tense) over the kings of the earth" when he wrote Revelation, the great city he is referring to here then has to be Rome.

This is very significant because it also solves for us the problem that many have regarding their belief about the Pope's influence during the great trib. Believing that he as the false prophet introduces the AC to the world. But, he can not be the false prophet if he as the figurehead of the harlot has already been destroyed and burned with fire as Rev.17 tells us he and his entire harlot system is.

And since a harlot is symbolic of false religion that claims to be the truth, the woman is the harlot religion that ruled Rome during his time. A Roman pagan religion under the Caesars that has continued to rule through the Popes after the Caesars of the Roman Empire began to be referred to as Pope with Constantine.

For example, in 325AD Constantine became the first Pope and also ruled the Roman Empire. So he was also Caesar at the same time. After him they would only be referred to as Pope. Even though they are emperors of Rome just as the Caesars were.

We find a really good example of how the Vatican became the Roman harlot in Caesar and Christ written by the historian Will Durant who said,

"When Christianity conquered Rome, the ecclesiastical structure of the pagan church, the title and vestments of the pontifex Maximus, the worship of the Great Mother and a multitude of comforting divinities, the sense of supersensible presences everywhere, the joy or solemnity of old festivals, and the pageantry of immemorial ceremony, passed like maternal blood into the new religion, and captive Rome captured her conqueror.
The reigns and skills of government were handed down by a dying empire to a virile papacy; the lost power of the broken sword was rewon by the magic of the consoling word; the armies of the state were replaced by the missionaries of the Church moving in all directions along the Roman roads, and the revolted provinces, accepting Christianity, again acknowledged the sovereignty of Rome".

So what we see here is that the woman that rides the beast is still riding it through the power the Popes continue to wield even to this day. Popes that took the reigns of power. Actually continuing without a break as emperors of Rome in the line of the Caesars. And that it is these Popes representing the religion of the Roman Empire, and not any kind of true christianity, that is the harlot. The woman that rides the beast.

So that the 6th empire Rev.17 speaks of continues to rule to this day. And the 7th has yet to come to power. Which Rev.17:10,11 says will rue for a "short space" leading up to the rule of the antichrist. The 8th kingdom.

So the beast is a global system made up of all peoples, nations, kindreds, and tongues. And the harlot has created the deep state through her emissaries she sent throughout the world to make men bow to her and her Pope from her earliest years.

Even now using countries like the USA through her capital Washington DC that was born of VIRGIN-ia and MARY-land. To be repositories of her power here in the US. That enabled her to send lesser emissaries we know as the military with military bases into other countries to wield her power there. With the Bank of England being her front economically.

This served 2 purposes. 1, to wield her power over all nations to bring them under the Vatican's rule. And 2, to be the face of her authority that rules the nations while giving her cover so it would not appear to most people that she was the one doing it. Which is why when leaders from all over the world take office one of their first official visits is to the Vatican with the Pope to bow to him and kiss his ring.

The reason why the woman that rides the beast is called a harlot is because as a harlot she represents a religion that claims to be followers of Christ. While it is actually a religious entity seen here as "mystery Babylon", because she fornicates with and is made up of all false religions. Just look at the meetings she holds at the Vatican with the world's "spiritual leaders" from all the pagan religions. Preying to all their false gods.

She has never been followers of the true Christ. But, only uses some of christianity's symbols as they suit her purposes to deceive those who do not love the truth. People the likes of Billy Graham even saying, "I found that my beliefs are essentially the same as those of orthodox Catholics. We only differ on some matters of later church tradition." This is why Paul said in 2Thes.2 regarding those the strong delusion has come upon so that they will be damned.

This is why what we are seeing here when we read Rev.17 is John describing what he saw that was the destruction of this woman/harlot that rides the beast from the time of the Caesars till now. Not only comprised of the USA. But, comprised of her tentacles that reach far and wide into every country in the world. Creating an entire system of rule the Vatican has been designed for herself since the time of Constantine whereby she controls the entire world.

A destruction that is in the very near future. In fact, a destruction that appears to be being set up now as we are watching the deep state harlot that runs the global system. Being set up for destruction in "one hour" by the 10 kings/horns.

But, even if this is true, and it most certainly is, how does this show us that Rev.17 happens before the AC comes on the scene? It is because the 10 kings/horns of Rev.17, who are also found in Dan.7, are whittled down to 7 when antichrist comes on the scene. So that at the point the AC takes power the 10 are no more. Because only 7 will be left.

Here's what Daniel had to say about this that proves Rev.17 is describing events that take place before the great trib, a period of 3 1/2 years, begins. In Dan.7:8 we see that a little horn rises up among the 10 that destroyed the harlot. So the AC comes to power by "plucking up by the roots" 3 of the original 10 kings/horns that came to power for "a short space" when they destroyed the woman that was riding the beast in Rev.17.

The reason I teach a 3 1/2 year trib comes from the fact that Revelation only ever describes a 3 1/2 year period for the great trib. A description that is found in Rev.12:14 and 13:5. And with the added fact that Dan.9 also says that Jesus, not the AC as so many have wrongly believed, is the one who "causes the sacrifices and oblations to cease". The apostle Paul confirming also that it was Jesus who "confirmed the covenant with many" in Gal.3:17. We know that this part of the prophecy has already been fulfilled.

This was because Jesus Himself was the final once for all sacrifice for sins under the law. Which made any further animal sacrifices performed by Israel a rejection of Jesus, and therefore an abomination to God.

Which is why we then see Daniel saying that it is because of this abomination that desolation comes to the temple. A desolation that we know from history came in 70 AD at the hands of the Romans. The very entity John says is the woman that rides the beast in Rev.17.

So the 10 kings will become 7 when the AC comes on the scene. Which means as I said at the beginning that the 10 kings will be here before the AC. Who according to Rev.17:10 continue for only a "short space". So while believers are looking for the return of Jesus to take us home in the rapture. Because our eyes must always be fixed on Him.

We also know that the events written about in Rev.17 are a forerunner to the coming of the AC. Who Daniel says when he comes the 10 kings will already be ruling with the beast system. Not over the beast system as the woman/harlot of Rev.17 has. And not over the beast system as the AC will. But, having given their power to the beast system the 10 kings rule with, not over, the beast system.

This means that since we do not yet see the 10 kings, and it will be 10 as the scriptures have proven themselves to be very precise in their fulfillment, we may be here for a little while longer. Which gives us more time to witness in our ministry of reconciliation, acting in this capacity as the restrainer who holds back of 2Thes.2, to bring as many as will come to a saving faith in Jesus.

But, it appears that we won't be here for too much longer. Because if Apophis that is to hit the earth in 2029 is the wormwood of Rev.8:11. And if the 10 generals Trump that are with Trump, and are still doing the work they were tasked with while Trump occupied the White House, are the 10 kings of Rev.17. Then it seems we are very close to the time John spoke of saying, "And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast."

One hour to do what? John tells us in vs.16,17 that they "shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.

17 For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled."

Because John uses the phrase "one hour" in regard to the power the 10 kings exercise, this seems to be an indication that when this destruction comes to the woman who rides the beast it will happen very quickly. And so it appears that her destruction will be very violent.

And in my attempt at explaining these things I want to be sure we do not miss the most important reason for God telling us all these things. And that is that knowing these things are so close we should ask ourselves the same thing Peter asks in 2Peter3. That "Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation"

Salvation that once obtained can never be lost. Through a blamelessness that comes of faith without works. Because once delivered from the power of death by the birth of a spirit in us we are children of God for all eternity. And just as our earthly birth makes us children of our earthly parents as long as we live here on earth. So our spiritual birth makes us children of God and heirs to His kingdom for all eternity. Having nothing to do with works. But, only of faith in Jesus.

This is why Peter then goes on to say we must be sure not to follow in the footsteps of those who wrest Paul's gospel of eternal security by grace through faith without works to their own destruction saying, "even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;

16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

17 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.

18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen."

So for those of us who have already come to a saving faith in Jesus we must take heed to Peter's words here. Living as those whose lives are separated unto God for His use. Trusting in Jesus without works for salvation. And bringing Paul's gospel to as many as will hear.

Not succumbing to the false works gospel of original sin and sin nature forced upon the world by the harlot rcc and her daughters that are the evangelical and protestant religions. Who wrest Paul's gospel to their own destruction. By making salvation contingent upon works rather than grace. Who fall from their own steadfastness as Peter said.

But, for those who have not yet trusted in Jesus it is time to turn from your idols to serve the living and true God. To be made ready by faith to meet Jesus when He returns to meet Him in the clouds. Trusting in Him for eternal life. Made a child of God by the birth of a spirit in you that was never there before. A spirit born of God that eternally joins you with Him as His child. Being born again as Jesus told Nicodemus in John3 all men must be for them to see the kingdom of God.

Bringing you into a relationship with God from which Paul says you can never be separated. Saying in Rom.8, "35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

John says the same thing using different words when he wrote, "6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.

7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God."

What sin did satan commit at the beginning? He believed not that God is God alone. He trusted not in God. So he tried to take God's place by leading 1/3 of the angels with him in a rebellion.

This is the same kind of rebellion toward God that all who will not trust in Him apart from works for eternal life are doing. Who use original sin and sin nature to twist the scriptures to their own destruction. Or simply reject God's plan for them to be made His children outright.

But, the apostles are saying that once you are saved you will always be saved. Why? Because as Paul said, "Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth." Here God is showing us that when we trust in Jesus we are justified by God on account of that faith. Just as faithful Abraham was. And that works done by anyone have no bearing on that justification. And having been justified no one and nothing can lay any charge against us that will change this.

So don't be deceived by the apparent peace and safety that will come after the destruction of the harlot is complete. The "short space" reign of the 10 kings with the beast system.

Rather, be made ready to meet Jesus when He comes for His people by trusting in Him for eternal life before the great tribulation. A time meant to complete the last 1/2 of the 70th week of Daniel's 70 weeks prophecy.

Again, if anyone reading or hearing this message have not yet believed in Jesus for eternal life, and want to now, all that is needed is for you to say yes to the gospel of God's grace. Just as the thief on the cross did when he asked to be remembered by Jesus in His kingdom.

You are saying yes to Jesus when you confess that Jesus is Lord. And when you believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead. Paul says when you do this you will be saved. By doing this you will be justified. By doing this you will be made a child of God by birth. And you will receive a new immortal body in the resurrection.

Do this and you will have eternal life now. Do this and you will have immortality at the resurrection. Do this and you will inherit God's kingdom. Do this... and I will see you there or in the air!
