Police Unmask Antifa Thugs – Rip Off Their Masks – at Auburn Protest, Fights Break Out (VIDEOS)

Auburn Police on Wednesday released the identities of the three people who were arrested outside Auburn University’s James E. Foy Hall before Richard Spencer’s speech there Tuesday evening.

All three were arrested at 6:21 p.m. Tuesday – well before the 7 p.m. start time for Spencer’s speech – and charged with with disorderly conduct, according to their arrest reports.

“[N]one [of the people arrested] were AU students or from the Auburn area.  There were no other reports of vandalism or damage as a result of the event,” Auburn Police spokeswoman Lorenza Dorsey said via email, adding that he did not have an official count but he “would estimate several hundred” people gathered outside Foy Hall Tuesday evening.

The three people arrested Tuesday were:

– Tattoo artist Ryan Matthew King, 38, of Montgomery
– Unemployed Benjamin Lee Hansen, 19, of Trussville
– Clerk Seth Miles Waldon, 27, of Birmingham

King is scheduled to appear in court on June 15 to face his disorderly conduct charge, while Hanson and Waldon are scheduled to appear on May 18, the arrest records show. All three had bonded out by early Wednesday afternoon.

Auburn Police also released mugshots of the three people arrested outside the Spencer event. Waldon’s shows him bloody and bandaged, as he was hurt in a physical altercation between dueling demonstrators Tuesday evening.

Spencer’s speech was a divisive event both on campus and around the nation, as some argued that he should not be allowed to preach white supremacy while others defended his right to free speech.

Auburn cancelled the event on Friday, citing safety concerns, but it was reinstated after a federal judge ruled Tuesday that the school could not cancel Spencer’s speech.
