China is Censoring Negative Posts Regarding to Xi’an’s Human Starvation or “Lockdown”.

On Jan. 5, the Chinese authorities banned Xi’an residents from posting unfavorable information on social media about the draconian COVID-19 measures of the lockdown. Violators will have their accounts removed. Simultaneously, “positive” videos and texts promoting the COVID-19 guidelines and praising the strict control are circulating on Chinese social media sites. The regime has adopted the motto “Go Xi’an.” China’s censorship bureau promotes images, articles, and videos that coin the phrase “Go Xi’an.” All users in China are required to register on social media using their cell phone number, which is linked to their ID. Once a person is barred from possessing a social media account, he or she will be unable to communicate emotions with friends online and will have a reduced social credit score.
