Watchman: Daily Devotional, It’s Better to Confront Danger Beside the Lord Than to Run and Hide From It

Devotional: Acts 9:1-20 How risk-averse or daring are you while making decisions? Because of the potential for loss or other unfavorable outcomes, many Christians avoid taking risks. The elimination of risks makes intuitive sense from a human perspective. Uncertainty, however, is a normal aspect of the Christian life of faith. Obedience may seem hazardous to us, but God sees no such thing since He is in complete charge of everything and will use it for His good. In the Bible, we read of actual individuals who trusted God even when faced with the unexpected. Ananias is one of them; he is a disciple whom God has sent to help the freshly converted Saul. By paying a visit to this well-known antichrist, Ananias put his life in danger. After his conversion, Saul too faced danger on a daily basis as he diligently…

BORN AGAIN- IS IT A LITERAL BIRTH OF A SPIRIT IN US THAT WAS NEVER THERE BEFORE? OR JUST A NEW WAY OF THINKING? John 3:1-8

In John3 when Jesus tells Nicodemus he must be born again because what is born of the flesh is flesh. And what is born of the Spirit is spirit. He is not saying he must be born of the Spirit because being only flesh he is evil, or sinful by nature. As so many falsely teach. Not only because the word flesh in the Bible does not mean that. But, also because when understood in context there is no way a person can come to the conclusion that it does mean evil or sinful. When used in the scriptures flesh never means evil or sinful. The word flesh in the Bible is the Greek word sarx. It means the tissue, muscle, and blood our bodies are made of. It literally means the body of flesh we see when we look…

IF SAVED BY GRACE IT CAN NOT BE BY WORKS!- Rom.11

As in all of Paul’s letters, here too he is emphasizing that salvation is by grace and not by works. Doing so because the flesh naturally gravitates toward works when trying to attain anything. So the problem with the flesh is that it works to attain what it wants. And not that it is evil in and of itself as so many falsely proclaim. And this works oriented nature is why Paul says in Rom.8 the flesh is at enmity with the spirit. And why in Rom.9 Paul cites where God said Jacob have I loved but Esau have I hated to illustrate this enmity. So in vs.1 what causes Paul to ask whether God has forsaken Israel in the first few verses of this chapter? It is because he is following up on what he said in ch 10.…

Watchman Says Once the Events of the End Times Begin, They Will Happen Quickly During the Tribulation Period, The World Will Be Ruled by a Godless Man Presiding Over an Evil Governmental System

Update 3/11/24: The Coming War of Gog and Magog The passage in Ezekiel 38 through 39 details an imminent invasion of Israel by a significant coalition of neighboring nations. Considering the current news and conflicts in the Middle East, it’s fascinating to think about how ancient prophecies might be coming to pass. In Ezekiel 36–37, a prophecy discusses the gathering of the Jewish people to the nation of Israel, which will be followed by a major invasion. For almost 2000 years, the Jewish people were scattered around the world, and it was only on May 14, 1948, that Israel was established as a nation. With the nation of Israel now established, the stage appears to be prepared for a significant conflict that will mark the beginning of a period of turmoil and the emergence of a powerful figure—a conflict that…

EDWARD O’HARA: FREE WILL… BECAUSE REAL LOVE IS A CHOICE Pt.2

Edward O’Hara The free will that all men have that we talked about in our last video can be seen in the choices we make in our every day life. This is especially true now with the craziness going on in the world today which has made those choices as consequential as ever. Consequences contrived from an effort by many, even those who claim to be Christians, to encourage people to make the choice that could enslave them to Satan by accepting what has all the earmarks of the mark of the beast spoken of in Rev.13. These so called Christians do so by directly encouraging others to take the mark. And through censorship of those who know better and are trying to help others stay strong and reject the mark of the beast in these last days. And in…

Watchman: Daily Devotional, Anxiety Weighs Down the Heart, but a Kind Word Cheers It Up. Proverbs 12:25–The Power of Kindness

People’s Lives and Hearts Today Seem to Be Filled With a Tremendous Amount of Conflict SRH: People’s lives and hearts today seem to be filled with a great deal of unrest. People are worried out everywhere. Anxious. They are quick to voice their ideas. There are financial concerns. People are complaining and being angry with organizations more than ever before. It might be overwhelming to see how many concerns and problems there are in the world when we read the daily news. There are numerous factors that can trigger anxiety. These problems and concerns weigh heavily on the heart. The more we linger on our worries, the less free we feel, even if we may not always be aware of their effects. When Jesus discussed life’s concerns, he reassured his listeners that their heavenly Father was aware of all of…

Watchman: For The Christian, This World Is The Only Hell They Will Ever Know ,With an Increasing Number of People in the West Wishing for a World Without Christianity, ‘You Might Get What You Want, but You Might Not Want What You Get”

SRH: Amazing how the world sees the Christian as the evil one. There is a cry in some societies today against “the intolerant Christians.” There will always be a cry against the righteous who stand for integrity and truth. If you represent the LORD, and hold Him as the standard, the world will hate you and blame you for the troubles that stem from the judgments of God. Elijah had come to bring the mercy of God in the form of rain. But they don’t have to imagine what a ‘grand’ world it would be without Christianity, they just have to look at history during the Greco-Roman period and more recently during the 20 century. “What was the world like before Jesus? “There is nothing new about ‘New Atheism’. The( Atheists and Islamic extremists ) are going to take us…

BY EDWARD O’HARA, ANSWER: RECONCILIATION, REDEMPTION, AND PROPITIATION,GOD HAS

FREELY GIVEN THEM… The world is in great turmoil because most have not received these. But, why? God has freely given them. The truth about how sin got here and how it affects humanity is not being told in most pulpits. So I’m going to break the mold here and share this with you now.  Historically, the origin of sin is the choice Adam made to eat the fruit. This was the sin of the first man. The first clause of Rom.5:12 and Gen.3:22-24 tells us how Adam’s sin brought physical death for himself. Not for all of mankind. But, only for himself. It’s in the next clause of Rom.5:12 that we find how this physical death that came to Adam has been spread throughout the whole human race, to all of Adam’s descendants. And Paul says it’s not the same…

Watchman’s Daily Devotional: Pray at All Times (Luke 18:1). Paul Commands Us to “Pray Without Ceasing” (1 Thess. 5:17).

In Philippians 1:9–11, it is evident that this section is a prayer. Usually, Paul’s prayers showed his desire for his readers to grow spiritually. It is essential to rely on prayer for spiritual growth, as it connects Us to the power of the Holy Spirit. Watchman: Prayer is incredibly important, as Jesus directed His followers to pray constantly (Luke 18:1). Paul instructs us to maintain a constant attitude of prayer (1 Thess. 5:17). Peter emphasized the importance of maintaining a clear mind and focused attitude when praying (1 Pet. 4:7). Many other commands are given in scripture to pray, but what truly reflects your faith is your inner drive to pray, not just following commands. As a believer, you live in a spiritual realm where prayer is as essential as breathing in the physical realm. Similar to how atmospheric pressure…
