The news report showcased aerial footage captured by drones and photographs of some of the largest mansions owned by churches in America. Lisa Guerrero, the investigative reporter, made an attempt to interview televangelist Jesse Duplantis about his residence, but he declined to answer any questions. Ryan Burge, an Associate Pastor and Political Scientist, shared his insights with “Inside Edition”: “If you own a multi-million-dollar house, your property tax bill could amount to $30,000, $40,000, or even $50,000 per year. However, if the property is classified as a parsonage, you are exempted from paying property taxes on that home.
