During a recent conversation, Biden discussed the events of January 6th, 2021 at the US Capitol with former German Chancellor Helmet Kohl. During a fundraiser in New York, Biden recounted a conversation where Helmut Kohl posed a hypothetical scenario involving a violent breach of the British parliament to prevent the prime minister from assuming office. Helmet Kohl served as the German chancellor from 1984 to 1989 and passed away in 2017. Not only did Biden mention Kohl once, he brought it up again later in the day.
