If you’ve never seen Star Trek you probably don’t know who the Borg are. The Borg are an alien group that appear as recurring antagonists on Star Trek. The Borg are cybernetic organisms linked in a hive mind called “the Collective”. The Borg co-opt the technology and knowledge of other alien species to the Collective through the process of “assimilation”: forcibly transforming individual beings into “drones” by injecting nanoprobes into their bodies and surgically augmenting them with cybernetic components. The Borg’s ultimate goal is “achieving perfection”…

You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile- The Borg

This “Borg collective” is easily seen today by their “facial apparel” and it’s “virtue signaling”. But, is more difficult to see when trying to find who those are that truly have believed in Jesus. Because even though some of them may wear the same “facial apparel” as those who are part of the “hive mind”. The signifying mark that John said would make those who have trusted in Jesus easily distinguished from the world is their love for God and one another. 

John said “Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.”

From this we see that the defining characteristic of God’s kind of love, the kind of love God wants each one of His children to express toward one another, is sacrifice. And that those who are not exhibiting this characteristic in their choices are showing that they may not really know or love God. 

John goes on to say- “We love him, because he first loved us.

If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?

And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.” 

So when we love God we will love the brethren. And that love will show in our willingness to sacrifice when necessary. We will not be part of a hive mind that seeks perfection as the Borgs in Star Trek. We will seek love for love’s sake. Because God is love. So to seek His love is to seek God. And when we love one another as God loves us we show that we are His children. And brothers and sisters in His family. 

Those who seek sinless perfection relegating relationship to second class status are those who have been deceived by the hive mind thinking of the sin nature doctrine. A doctrine that is born of the pagan doctrine of original sin. A doctrine that seeks sinless perfection by works as the means to be eligible for the kingdom of God. Not necessarily to be achieved by our own works. But, someone’s works are always necessary in this collective hive mind approach. 

But, because Paul was very clear that our eligibility for the kingdom of God is not of works, but by grace through faith without works. A grace that Paul says in Rom.11:6 has nothing to do with works otherwise grace is no more grace. So this eligibility has nothing to do with works that anyone can do to achieve sinless perfection. It is only possible through the love of God shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit that leads us and guides us in our personal relationship with the God who made us. And with those who have believed and are saved by Him.

Jesus said this makes us one with God and with one another. Not a hive mind that seeks to make us clones of one another in sinless perfection. Thinking that makes us say things like justified means it’s just-as-if-I’d- never sinned. Or that grace is unmerited favor. But, one in which each of us are able to minister according to the gift that God gives as He divides those gifts among His children “severally as He wills”. Gifts that only work by the love that has been shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit. Because we access these gifts by faith. And faith only works by love. 

So what the truly saved have achieved and are achieving is far different from some morality of the hive mind of original sin defined as sinless perfection. We who are truly saved have achieved relationship built from materials made from God’s love. A love marked by sacrifice. Not just morality that is a form of godliness that denies God’s power. 

Don’t let those who teach the paganism of original sin and sin nature co opt your thinking. Don’t let them assimilate you into their hive mind of pagan beliefs and rituals by injecting their “nanoprobes” false doctrine into your thinking. Because they are really the 7 other evil spirits worse than the one who left so that you become worse at the last than you were at the beginning Jesus spoke of in Mt.12:43-45. 

Keep your eyes on Jesus and His love for you, and the love we have for one another. Love that by the spiritual birth of John3:4-6 shows that you have become His child and heir to His kingdom. No longer only flesh and blood that can not inherit God’s kingdom. Or the flesh and blood that because of the fear of death is kept captive to satan. But, rather a spiritual being that will live forever in a spiritual house that true believers are all to be housed with when Jesus comes back for us. 

This way resistance to these “Borgs” attempts to assimilate you is not futile. But, it will be as James instructed in James4:7- “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” Resist the assimilation of the religious Borgs with their false pagan teaching of original sin and sin nature and they will flee from you. This is why they ban us from their sites. Whether they are religious Borgs or otherwise. It’s their way of fleeing from us because they hate the truth because they instead have pleasure in unrighteousness. Strongly deluded by the spirit of antichrist doctrines that are so attractive to the flesh.

Dear Jesus, thank you for joining with me in my death so that I can join with you in eternal life. Thank you for giving me a new spirit to make me your child so that I am now heir to your kingdom. Thank you for giving me eternal life. Help me to live for you and always listen to the Holy Spirit to lead me and guide me into His truth. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
