Watchman predicts imminent civil conflict: Rank-and-File Border Patrol Agents outraged by Senate funding agreement.

Everyday members Border Patrol agents have expressed strong criticism towards the Senate’s $118 billion funding bill. They argue that the bill prioritizes guaranteeing entry to 1.5 million illegal migrants into the United States, while allocating a significant portion of the funds to Ukraine ($60 billion+) and Israel ($14.1 billion), according to the Daily Caller.

“Catch and release is indeed occurring,” stated Andrew “Art” Arthur, a resident fellow in law and policy for the Center for Immigration Studies, in a statement to the Caller.

There has been a significant increase in illegal immigration, according to the Border Patrol’s records in recent years. In fiscal year 2022, agents documented over 2.2 million encounters of migrants crossing the southern border illegally, setting a new record. This number increased to over 2 million in fiscal year 2023. Between October and January, federal data shows that there were over 629,000 such encounters.

“It’s completely false,” a second agent told the DCNF. “It is crucial to prioritize the enforcement of existing laws rather than focusing on a new border bill.”

Unaccompanied minors and families being released is completely unacceptable. “They need to be removed,” the second agent added with urgency.

Three additional agents informed the caller that they strongly disagree with the bill for several reasons, such as the release of families and certain single adults who have made ‘credible fear’ claims.
