WHY THIS MUST BE DONE WHEN YOUR FOOT, HAND, OR EYE OFFENDS YOU- Mt.18- Pt.3

As I shared in the last 2 messages there is a time when we are to cut off or cast out the one bringing an offense into the fellowship that may cause others to be cast into hell.

And how this doctrine that should have been dealt with in the manner prescribed by Jesus, and later Paul, has become the main doctrine taught in churches. Because the church is apostate.

A man named Pelagius, who was ostracized by many of his peers, spoke of this doctrine that Augustine brought into the Roman Catholic church. Claiming that Augustine was teaching gnostic heresy. The evidence of this Pelagius said was that he was denying free will, and making the spirit of antichrist claim that Jesus did not come in the same flesh all men have.

Saying also that Augustine was denying the power of God in the New Covenant to deliver men from sin. Because as long as men are in these bodies said Augustine, they are slaves to sin. Adding that because of this sin nature, what he called necessity that all men inherit from their parents, there are babies in hell.

Think about that. Babies in hell? How is it possible that anyone could come to believe such a thing? It is a grievous offense in the fellowship that says those of whom Jesus said “of such is the kingdom of God” would be believed to have gone to hell because of the “stain of sin” they inherited from their parents. Sin that he said originated with Adam.

They say it is true because this is what David meant when he said he was conceived in sin. Interpreted by them to mean that because all babies are conceived in sin they have a sin nature and are stained with the sin of Adam.

And that it is because of this sin that all babies who have not been baptized to cleanse their flesh from this sin will go to hell. John Calvin and Martin Luther giving their approval of this doctrine as well as they taught this abomination to the evangelicals and Protestants. Who have received it and teach it exclusively.

Disregarding the fact that Paul speaks of this abominable doctrine in 2Tim.3. Saying in vs.5-8, “Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof”.

But, how do these deny the power thereof you may be asking? They do this by denying that when a man has believed in Jesus he is set completely free from sin. Teaching that the sin nature that is all men’s flesh governs all their choices to not only make men sin. But, so that they can not ever stop sinning while they are still in their earthly bodies.

This is the power of God that these false teachers deny. Even using scriptures like 1John1:9 out of context to say there is scriptural support for this heretical doctrine. And what does Paul say to do with those who teach this. Like Jesus in Mt.18 who said these should be cut off, Paul says, “from such turn away.”

Paul adds to this here saying, 6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.” Even comparing these to Janine’s and Jambres who withstood Moses saying, “so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.”

This is why Jesus said that if there is one who brings an offense into the body they must be “cut off”. Doing this for the express purpose so that it does not affect any other parts of the fellowship so that others won’t wind up being cast into the lake of fire with the offender.

Now I know that anyone who has spent much time in the churches today, and especially those who listen to my messages here, know that this belief system is a very popular doctrine today. And has been able to become so popular because this offense has been accepted as truth by most who consider themselves to be Christian’s for almost 1,600 years. So that it has now metastasized into an offense that has affected all churches.

So what must a believer do when he realizes the offense? We must do as those brothers and sisters throughout history have done. As those in Corinth that followed Paul’s instructions did. And as those who would follow Jesus’ instructions regarding the hand, foot, or eye that offends.

We must either remove the offense from the body of believers by pointing it out as I have here in the messages I do at this channel. Or as Paul instructed, if others in the fellowship are “puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you”, as those in Corinth were doing with the man having sex with his father’s wife. Be cast into hell with the offender.

The one who “is offended” because he recognizes the belief as an offense to “the body” that will cause the offender and those who glory with him to be cast into hell, must himself be separated from those who glory in that offense. Cutting off all the offenders so that he himself will not end up being cast into the fire with them. But, instead will remain joined with the true body of Christ.

And if you feel you must go to a “church” then do it for the same purpose for which Paul went to synagogue. To preach the truth to them so they can come to a saving faith in the Jesus of the Bible. To literally witness to them about these things so that they can be set free from the antichrist teachings of original sin and sin nature. To no longer be the offending eye, hand, or foot Jesus spoke of.

But, if you do don’t be surprised if they treat you like we see the Jews did Paul in Acts18 who “opposed themselves, and blasphemed”. Telling you to leave because they are offended by the truth you give them. Renting their clothes so to speak as they gnash their teeth at you for telling them the truth. Remember, that the truth of the gospel is an offense to those who are perishing.

It is this offending antichrist teaching of original sin and sin nature that has permeated all the churches. Making almost all who are in them the offenders of whom Jesus spoke saying “it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.”

Made possible by the harlot Roman Catholic hierarchy giving the victory at the council at Carthage to the pagan gnostic bishop Augustine, rather than to those who believed that men have free will and are saved by grace through faith without works.

Making Augustine’s pagan gnostic interpretations of the scriptures her catechism. And making Augustine her doctor of theology. While those who believe in free will became a by-word both to Roman Catholics and her daughters the evangelical Protestants to this day.

Does this remedy seem extreme to you? If it does I will simply refer you again to what Jesus said in Mt.18. He said, “Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!

8 Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.

9 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.”

When Jesus says “for it must needs be that offences come”, why do you think He said they must come? It is because Jesus knew this is how the tares planted by the enemy who is the devil operate in and among the wheat who have believed in “the doctrine of Christ”. That they will bring in false doctrine trying to make the wheat every bit as much a tare that will at the end be cast in the fire, as these are.

But, we can avoid this fate. And have avoided this fate by trusting in Jesus and holding to the doctrines of His apostles. Specifically “the doctrine of Christ” that we find in 2John1 that says, “that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh.”

This is the mystery of godliness Paul speaks of as well in 1Tim.3:16 saying, “God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.” And Paul says in Heb.2:14 “Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.”

So according to the apostles the doctrine of Christ is every bit as much a salvation doctrine as believing Jesus has raised from the dead. Or any other that shows we have believed in the Biblical Jesus and His atonement.

So if you have been deceived by the doctrines of these men who have believed in the teachings of Augustine, Luther, and Calvin, who having a form of godliness deny the power thereof. By denying that Jesus came in the same flesh all men have and saying that men do not have free will. Your only hope is to turn from that pagan gnostic teaching.

Turn from that offense to the body of Christ that should have been plucked out as the eye Jesus spoke of. And the hand or foot that should have been cut off long ago. To trust in the true and living God who gives all men free will. And who came in the same flesh all men have.

Trust in Jesus, who joined with us in our mortality, rather than dying in our place, as these offending eyes and hands teach and believe. And who rather than paying a penalty that these offenders falsely say God’s justice required to satisfy His wrath. Was instead tortured and murdered by Satan and his minions to expose the devil for who he really is. One who comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. And to defeat death by the resurrection.

So that we could see what love really looks like. Because greater love has no man than he that lays his life down for his friend. And to know that love when we put our trust in Him that has raised from the dead. The Lord Jesus.

So if you will turn from the false doctrines taught by pagan gnostics who follow the pagan gnostic teachings of Augustine, Luther, and Calvin. The teachings of the harlot Roman Catholic Church and her daughters. To trust in the Jesus that the apostles preached that I have shared with you in these series of messages. You will have eternal life. If you will confess the Lord Jesus. And believe in your heart that He has raised from the dead. You will be saved.

If you will do this then you will no longer be just flesh and blood as Adam was when he was made. If you will do this then God will create a spirit in you that makes you His child and heir to His kingdom. If you will do this… then I will see you there or in the air!
