By Edward O’Hara, THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS WITHIN YOU- LUKE17:20,21

By Edward O’Hara. Jesus said “The kingdom of God is within you” to a people who were expecting a messiah to come who would deliver to them a physical kingdom after conquering their enemies. But, these expected a natural kingdom to be theirs by the hand of a judge/deliverer just as the judges like Samson, Moses, and others had in olden times. But, the kingdom Jesus spoke of was one that delivered them from the natural men they were from the time Adam was made, to spiritual men for which Jesus came to make all men. From an inheritance through flesh and blood by a water birth from their mother’s womb. To an inheritance through spiritual birth that made them children of God and heirs to His eternal and spiritual kingdom in heaven. Both are literal kingdoms. And the Jew…

EDWARD O’HARA: FREE WILL… BECAUSE REAL LOVE IS A CHOICE Pt.2

Edward O’Hara The free will that all men have that we talked about in our last video can be seen in the choices we make in our every day life. This is especially true now with the craziness going on in the world today which has made those choices as consequential as ever. Consequences contrived from an effort by many, even those who claim to be Christians, to encourage people to make the choice that could enslave them to Satan by accepting what has all the earmarks of the mark of the beast spoken of in Rev.13. These so called Christians do so by directly encouraging others to take the mark. And through censorship of those who know better and are trying to help others stay strong and reject the mark of the beast in these last days. And in…

IMMORTALITY, WHY WE DID NOT INHERIT IT FROM ADAM Edward O’Hara

Was Adam immortal when God made him? Was his body different from what ours is now? What does the Bible say about this? I ask this question because there is so much false teaching regarding this issue. And this issue is very important because it speaks to the very heart of what it means to be human. Are we as Adam was when he was made? Or is our flesh different from his when God made him? This is a very important issue because Heb.2:14 says that Jesus came in the same flesh all men have. But, if Adam was mortal then how is it that he could live forever? Isn’t that what being immortal means? We will begin by reading from the Genesis account first to see what, if anything, is there regarding this issue.  In Gen.1:26 we see God telling the story about…

Edward O’Hara: FEAR NOT FOR I AM WITH YOU!

In the first chapter of Joshua we see Israel preparing to cross the Jordan and enter the promised land. We read how Joshua was told by God to lead the children of Israel into the land that was promised to their fathers. And that the people were to now receive their instructions from Joshua.  As Joshua instructed them then, so we now receive our instruction from Holy Spirit. Just as it was then, neither do we listen to the voices of the world. This is why the truly saved are not deceived by every wind of doctrine. But, are stable in ALL our ways. Trusting God in everything.  So as the Lord told Joshua to be “strong and courageous” in all their battles. So the Lord tells us to be strong and courageous in ours. Joshua was able to do this because…

Edward O’Hara: WOLVES IN SHEEP’S CLOTHING; QUESTIONS WE MUST ASK- 2Cor.5:19

By Edward O’Hara, The idea of questioning long held political and religious beliefs is happening now more than at any other time in history. The question is, is this a good method to use for finding truth? My answer to that is, what other way is there? Not in a hateful or rebellious way. But, in an inquiring way. Because we have to question things to know whether they are true. Especially the things we may have come to believe are true before we came to trust in Jesus. This is why Paul says we need to renew our minds in Rom.12:1,2. And in this endeavor I have found the Bible to be 100% accurate 100% of the time. In all areas of study, everything the Bible says has so far for me proven itself to be absolutely and unequivocally…

Edward O’Hara, THE BLESSED HOPE- PEACE AND SAFETY… THEN SUDDEN DESTRUCTION!

Edward O’Hara… Is the whole world experiencing peace and safety? Or is there turmoil and insecurity? No doubt there is the latter. But, Paul gives us great hope in these last days. He gives instruction in 1Thes.5:3 that says the world will be saying peace and safety just before sudden destruction. So what is really going on?  Jesus said in Mt.24:37 that as it was in the days of Noah so it shall be at the time of the coming of the Son of man. Jesus also made a similar statement regarding the days of Lot in Luke17:28. This means that what happened then will happen at the time just before Jesus’ revealing. The Apocalypse. What do we see from the Bible that happened then that Jesus is telling us in Mt.24 will happen just before His return?  We read that…

BY EDWARD O’HARA, ANSWER: RECONCILIATION, REDEMPTION, AND PROPITIATION,GOD HAS

FREELY GIVEN THEM… The world is in great turmoil because most have not received these. But, why? God has freely given them. The truth about how sin got here and how it affects humanity is not being told in most pulpits. So I’m going to break the mold here and share this with you now.  Historically, the origin of sin is the choice Adam made to eat the fruit. This was the sin of the first man. The first clause of Rom.5:12 and Gen.3:22-24 tells us how Adam’s sin brought physical death for himself. Not for all of mankind. But, only for himself. It’s in the next clause of Rom.5:12 that we find how this physical death that came to Adam has been spread throughout the whole human race, to all of Adam’s descendants. And Paul says it’s not the same…

WHEREFORE THEN SERVETH THE LAW? BY EDWARD O’HARA

For the serious student of the Bible it seems that when they get off track it is most often because they do not come to a clear Biblical understanding of where the law fits in the believer’s life. Or if they have they have placed it where God never meant it to be. Because the law is to have no place in the believer’s life at all. None whatsoever. Because for a person to be a believer means they are joined to Christ. And Paul who spent a lot of time teaching this says in Rom.7:4 that to be joined to Christ one must be dead to the law. How dead does Paul say the law is to be to the believer? Paul says the law must be as dead to us as the husband who has died is to the…

EDWARD O’HARA: THE FAITH THAT COMES BY HEARING IS RIGHTEOUSNESS- ROM.10

aith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. What does this mean to you? When I hear these words it means that as we hear the message of the gospel and we are made aware of a choice we need to make. And when we make the free will choice to believe the gospel we are given the gift of faith. And now having this gift it gives us the ability to grow into the man or woman of God God wants us to be. If we will continue hearing God’s word. This growth happens when we go from saying yes to the gospel message when we first heard it. To continuing to hear God’s word. Because by this God builds into us a frame of reference by which we can understand more and more of His…

EDWARD O’HARA, THE GARDEN Pt2

As we saw in pt1 of this message the mortality that Adam was not yet aware of would only be realized by him after he could no longer eat from the tree of life. We see this from reading in Gen.3:22 where God said, “Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: 23 Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. 24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.” This truth…
