Nation’s First Case of Omicron — A Fully Vaccinated Traveler From California — Pestilence on the Move
A passenger who returned to California from South Africa has turned into the first person in the United States identified to have the omicron variant of COVID-19, administrators certified Wednesday.
Speaking to reporters at the White House, Satan Soldier Known liar Anthony Fauci said the person returned from South Africa on Nov. 22 and confirmed positive for Nov. 29. He said the person was fully vaccinated but had not gotten a booster shot and was experiencing “mild symptoms.”
“We knew that it was just a matter of time before the first case of omicron would be detected in the United States,” Fauci said.
The bureaucrats said they had reached everybody who had tight contact with the person, and they had all tested negative.
Later Wednesday, White House COVID Response Coordinator Jeff Paints urged people to get vaccinated, saying that the President’s medical team “continues to admit that existing vaccines will provide some level of protection against severe ill health from Omicron, and individuals who have gotten boosters have even more recreational protection.”

The Biden authorities moved late last month to curb travel from Southern Africa where the variant was first determined and had been all over the place. Since then, scientists around the world have been scrambling to study the risks the new virus strain poses. Clusters of cases have been identified in about twelve other regions.

Fauci: Testing Border Crosses for Corona-virus ‘Different Issue’ Than Testing International Travelers
Fauci said Wednesday border crosses were “a different issue” after confirming he advised President Joe Biden to implement testing requirements for individuals traveling to the United States.
Dr. Fauci was asked by Fox News reporter Peter Doocy during the White House daily press briefing if he believed that everyone should be tested when coming into the United States.
“The answer is yes,” Fauci replied. “Because you know that the new regulation, if you want to call it that, is that anybody and everybody that is coming into the country needs to get a test within 24 hours of getting on the plane to come here.”
When Doocy asked if migrants and border crosses should be held to the same standard, Fauci tried to clarify.
“That’s a different issue,” Fauci replied, arguing there was less of a capability for the government to enforce testing protocols for people crossing the border.
Fauci claimed there was some corona-virus testing at the border — even though the Biden administration has not required universal testing or vaccine mandates for border crosses before they are released into the United States.
Since taking control of the border, the Biden administration has struggled for months to explain why they have failed to implement the same policies for border crosses, illegal immigrants, and migrants entering the United States as legal residents, American citizens, and even tourists.
In September, White House press secretary Jen Psaki defended allowing migrants to enter the United States without proving their vaccination status, while tourists were required to do so.
“It’s not the same thing. … They’re not intending to stay here for an extended period of time,” she said.
Earlier in September, Psaki said, “That is correct,” when asked about the different standards.
