MAN, MORTAL FROM THE BEGINNING- THE SURPRISING BEAUTY OF IT
The beauty of our mortality is that in it, and by our own free will, we find reason to seek a relationship with God. This is why God set it up so that Adam would only be sent out of the garden after he had the knowledge of good and evil. And not before. Because armed with this knowledge, and understanding his own mortality, it was God’s plan that he would come to trust in Jesus by seeking for answers about what comes next. And hearing those answers from those who have come to know Him. The Bible tells us in 1Cor.2:14 that the natural man doesn’t consider spiritual things. Neither can he know them because they can only be discerned through spiritual means. The reason for this is that generally speaking the natural man only thinks of things in terms that relate to…

BELIEVE… Edward O’Hara … This is so true. So many believe in whatever their senses lead them to that their beliefs make up what is the proverbial soup sandwich. What Paul referred to as those who “oppose themselves”. A smorgasbord of this, that, and the other, that has no basis in truth. The only truth that sets men free. Truth that is a person whose name is Jesus. But, even many of those who say they believe in Jesus have beliefs that are not consistent with what the Bible teaches. Even though they may proclaim their beliefs are the result of Bible study. Why is it so hard for people who say they believe the Bible to actually believe it? Is it because they have never understood what they have read? Or is it because what they read has been interpreted for…

Edward O’Hara… In fact the fear of death is what Satan has been using for generations to keep men in bondage. And isn’t it interesting that the fear of death is the “new normal” the globalists are depending on to make you slaves in their new world order? But, the Bible tells us in Heb.2:14 that the reason Jesus became a man with the same flesh all men have is so that all who will believe in Him will be delivered from the fear of death. So if we are going along with the globalist propaganda we are giving ourselves over to the fear of death that Jesus’ death and resurrection “taketh away” as the Hebrews writer said. By living in fear we are actually giving approval to the idea that His death and resurrection did not accomplish what Jesus…

By, Edward O’Hara, Fri 12/27/2019 12:24 PM… When reading the Bible we always need to remember who the letter we are reading from is written to. Because while the whole Bible is written for us. The whole Bible is not written to us. For example, Even though all believers can glean truth from it’s teaching, Hebrews is written to, well… Hebrews. So when reading letters like this we must always remember that these are written to people who had a covenant with God before Jesus came. Something Paul says the rest of the world(Gentiles) did not have. Eph.2:12. So it was these people, and not Gentiles, to whom God said; “Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the…
